Very clean. Good place to run, hike, bbq and for the family. Beautiful views off downtown and they got the hidden swing.
Great place for family events, little league baseball, beginners hiking trails, biking, and scenery. Its not far from Dodger Stadium (Dodger Stadium is across the street.).
Beautiful except for the fact that there are too many gophers holes throughout the park. Its annoying because my dog likes to run in the grass.
Nice place for relax and good time with friends. I visit this park 2-3 time in a week. If you like tennis, you will find 2 free public tennis courts in this park. No fee, no payments, totally free for everyone!
Love this park but they can do better to keep it clean!
Right before I walk in to Dodger Stadium, I slam a few tall cans here.
Nice place to Good time with friends and family!
The views are absolutely amazing from here. The swing at the very top is really cool.
I have been going to The Rec in Elysian Park since 1951. Love it.
Nice woman who helped us reserve the park space
A city park that does not feel like you are in the city. Not as revered as Griffith Park, yet equally as charming. This park boasts two great hiking trails - divided by Stadium Way. Both trails feature exceptional views of the city(scape). The trails are great for dogs too. But, please make sure to bring doggy bags, as us joggers arent always looking down for hazards.
My hood!
LOVE IN THE HIKING IN THE PARK ITS NICE ENJOY THE NATURE WALK
The park was well kept decent size too. No sand box for children but kid friendly. Our group brought fun activities for e everyone. Both restrooms were operable but had no light. There was a team there that kept the grounds clean.
There are many other parks in LA but this one is the most enchanting of them all. I cannot say why. It is just the feeling that you get when you walk along the park - tranquility and peace hand in hand.
This place is huge! There are excellent views up at the Angels Point, including a monument where you can see Santa Monica bay, Hollywood sign, all of downtown, the Griffifth Observatory, the Palisades, to name a few.
Youll find awesome views almost everywhere here, but the restrooms could be better
For anyone visiting this area for the first time you will be hard pressed to find your way around this park. I had to ask several locals where each trail lead since there are no trail markers and/or trail map to be found either at the park or online. Once I found the main trail it was a nice walk (maybe 1.5 miles?) with some scenic views. But be careful on the other trails/abandoned roads as there is a homeless campsite right above the road with several people living there. I would have felt uncomfortable if I were alone, but I passed several other hikers and it was daylight. I’d prefer Griffith Park being that there is more information about the trails - which you would certainly need to avoid getting lost.
Wonderful views and when theyre playing music its a great spot to spend the day.
Elysian park is an excellent for those athletes who want to get a workout jogging or walking and has a nice view to the buildings in Los Angeles
Yeah very nice clean quiet at night Elysian Park is a very cruise Place I hear
Diverse topography and very scenic panorama qualifies this recreation facility as clearly the most sought after one day adventures..see from the top downtown los angeles. Very low profile that most residents of LA dont even know its fruits
The view from the top of the hill is breathtaking!
I had the best times and glorious nights the road we rocked!!!!
Great views. Easy accessibility.
Big open space. Quiet
This park is great for events.
