Fabulous day spa offerings, including beauty and health, meditation and relaxation through art at annual senior program that is sponsored by the Ladera Seniors Association at the center, in May. Service providers were from LA Trade Tech, community service organizations and private, professional volunteers. Very invigorating and well organized event to honor women, especially mothers. Enjoy the elegant presence of the Honorable Diane Watson and the recognition that was bestowed on two elder mothers, aged 100 and 93 years. There are other daily offerings at the senior center, including breakfast and lunch. I found yoga for arthritis quite interesting.

I always have a great time there. Urban Ballroom dance lessons and open dance on Mondays and Wednesdays 5:00P.

The Community Center, Yvonne Burke Center is brand new. Has computer lab, walking group, exercise equipment and an attendant! A food program.You have to arrive early, about 9am to sign up. Also, You have to register at the front desk. Parking is underground garage. Right now,Free. A plus!! Front desk has information about tours, bus rides, casino bus rides:,Another plus!!One can play cards, join a book club! There is a calendar of events at the front desk. Come over and join in ! Beautiful facility. I attended a meeting there and there seemed to be classes in another area. I got a class schedule and it seems they offer a lot of activities.

Toastermasters Club every 1st and 3rd Friday at 2:00 pm.. we a phenomenal Pathway to Public Speaking.
