Lemon Grove is a great little neighborhood park. The playground is currently closed because of the pandemic (and maybe thats why the basketball hoops are gone too?) but the park has a bunch of big rocks/boulders in it, so theres still fun to be had for a toddler. The park was fairly busy today, but theres enough space that people were able to social distance easily. Great to see families with kids of all ages enjoying the space, as well as adults using the exercise equipment and the little track that goes around the park.

An old school nice neighborhood park, for me. Not recommended for West L.A. type people though. Im not referring to race there, but to your vibe. Usually not that dangerous during the day (besides early morning), but be aware of whats going on around you. Obviously most parks in L.A. are dangerous after-hours and early in the morning up to lets say 9:00 am when therere more people around. Ive been visiting this park since the mid or early 1980s. My neighborhood park as a kid and teen, and still my neighborhood park. The parks area was greatly expanded in the year 2001, after the city bought a home or two and an apartment building or two which were adjacent to the former border of the park, and demolished them. Thats old school knowledge. Used to smoke weed here with my friends, and drink alcohol - containing beverages. Among other things. Actually I still sometimes smoke weed and drink alcohol-containing beverages here. Dont tell the fuzz.

It sure has cleaned up a lot. Ive lived in the area for about 20 years, great place to hang out and watch people play basketball, have a cookout, or to take your kids and let them run around in the playground and have some fun. Definitely feels a lot Cleaner and Safer nowadays

It has runs and sometimes community activities dont know what days but it is a very nice place to play basketball

This park use to be good. But now sucks. All the employees there are rude. And now we can even take the kids to play on the slides on Saturday or Sunday because is closed! Everything is closed. We should call the city to closed definitely cause parking closed and the kids area closed. So why we have a park there? The only people that us hanging there is the one smoking weed and writing in the walls. Park suppose to be for the community and the family’s to enjoy with their kids on weekends! All the parks are like that!! I call the city and complain hope soon we be able to walk there on Sunday my day off and be able to play with my 1 year old princess. Or closed definitely why we gave a park there if we cant ask use it

Ugly playground for the kids! Baseball field is nice since its almost never used. But everything else is very unappealing looks worst then the parks in south Centrals parks.

Its a nice little park, the only downside is they close the playground and restrooms early and doesnt open on Sunday.

The have just updated basketball courts with new flooring which has way more grip. The lighting is good doesnt turn off during the night so you can have extended time on the courts. They have a small parking lot. Street parking can be difficult to find at peak hours.

Trying to find parking sucks, other than that the park is nice. Has a baseball field, 2 full basketball courts an indoor gym and a small workout area.The park is a little hidden but easy to find off of hobart boulevard.

I play basketball at the courts here every once in a while. While its convenient and theres usually people here playing...its always dirty, and often the staff does not stop the locals from taking over the courts to play soccer on them despite the no futbol signs. Sometimes gangs or crowds of people drinking alcohol can be there also.

It is Saturday morning at 10:24. The playground is locked the bathrooms are locked. The sign says that the rec center opens at9 am However no one is here to unlock anything.

Decent outdoor park for bball, crowd is friendly and generally open to pickup. Only weird thing is that the parking lot closes at 9pm and you will definitely get locked inside if you dont get out in time. We had to push a huge rock out of the way to drive out over the curb!

I was shooting a film here. Its right by the freeway, although it is separated by a tall brick wall. There is virtually never any parking. You can usually buy ice cream or snacks from vendors there.

Not a big and easy to find parking

This is my daughters first time ever attending their summer camp. The staff there dont care about the kids. Lets them do whatever they want. My daughter got bullied even got bit by an older kid. Who is watching them. Instead of solving the problem they wanted it to go away by not communicating. They never inform me of the situation n now they dont want to kick the girl out because the staff didnt follow protol call.. That aint my problem. The girl should have consequences. But they deny that..If u want you child to be bully this is the place for them.. Its my worst experience ever..
