Greenway Court Theatre is a fascinating and intimate space for performing arts to take form. Located next door to Fairfax High School, it is home to many theatrical productions and Da Poetry Lounge, a weekly open-mic poetry and performance event held every Tuesday night at 9. There is free parking, but seating inside can become limited due to popularity, so its best to show up as early as possible.

Hadnt been to the Poetry Lounge in over ten years. It was womans night. So it was exciting to be surrounded by girls and women speaking their truth. Some of them for the first time in front of people.

For theatre lovers, this space is a wonderful opportunity to see well-done shows in a comfortable, intimate space at an affordable price. I also appreciate that there’s free parking located next door.

Fantasmagoric! I went to see miss Americas smarter younger daughter and it was a blast! I stopped at the Israeli restaurant across the street and had a scruncheos chicken kabob pita. The theatre was across the street and dont judge it just because its located at the outskirts of one of the worlds most abominateous fake schools. The theatre is a whole other story. It has a cozy homely atmosphere and the daughter off miss America was quite charming and candid in her portrayal of what it was like to be the offspring of the shriek worlds only Jewish miss America! And in the end, she wasnt all that ugly. Ill try to see another show here soon. And Ill try to forget its attached to Fairfax non school.

A must support neighborhood community theatre. It was a wonderful experience.

Great spot run by great people. Intimate professional theatre where you can catch quality acts or attend a workshop and learn and meet other artists.

Cool theater with an intimate setting for live shows. quite small however and the air conditioning was broken when we went in the summer . not good

Unless you can walk here or take a Lyft, its an awful location to drive to and park at, because busy commercial district in evenings, Silent Movie Theater across the street, Melrose swap meet on Sundays next door, or bloody soccer games at school adjacent. Just stay home and watch Netflix.
