Cute intimate theater, but not many parking options. Only reason I knocked off a star is because we were seated in a back row of uncomfortable chairs. They added the chairs and were not actually a part of the theater seating. They later opened up another section and seated the additional guests there. We left early because the chairs were uncomfortable.
The Hayworth is a nice, quite theater and a perfect venue to see a production. The venue offers comfortable seating, plenty of restrooms, concessions, and a friendly staff.
Great theater with great shows and not so great parking availability.
Saw Fun with Dumb podcast tapping here. Intimate venue.
The theater is a little outdated. Very small theater but intimate. Every seat is a good seat. The deco & seats are quite old. Not very impressive especially in this entertainment city - LA.Street parking is challenging.
Small, a bit dated, but charming.
For what it is, a small theater for stage performances, its a very cool spot. Has a classic feel to it. The seats are comfortable and youre never too far from the stage.
Went here On A Date, Perfect Setting
Had good time and comfortable assigned seating.
Saw mariachi girl here...best play this far
Knowing that the venue was a mere block away from MacArthur Park, I knew that the Hayworth Theatre wouldnt be Pantages fancy. It was exactly as I believed with single occupancy restrooms (3), narrow low hallways, and scary exterior. Inside the actual theatre though, I was subtly impressed by the comfy seating, vaulted high ceilings, and HVAC system (stuffy and hot is a huge turn off for smaller productions such as these).
No frills 250 seat theater features hillarious musicals. Came here to see Reanimator the musical and SIlence! the musical and had a great time. The stage is small and intimate, the production is very creative and this is a fun place to take a date!
Hay its worth checking out
Cute
Loved Silence the play.
