The Regency Village Theatre [a.k.a. The Fox Westwood Village Theatre] was originally built by Fox West Coast Theatres in 1930 at 961 Broxton Ave, Westwood, Los Angeles, CA 90024, United States. Architecturally, the 170-foot white tower atop the building is a most striking external feature and inside theres seating for circa 1.4k patrons.

Still my go-to theater for unique shows and experiences. It warms my heart that this theater didnt fall to the wayside like so many other beautiful theaters that used to dot this great city.Lately the shows Ive been going to are sing-a-longs as well as some Peaches productions. A fun time is always had here and I even enjoy bringing my friends who are less like me if you know what I mean.Looking forward to the next show in March, Drag Becomes Her ;-)

This prominent edifice is one of the few great landmarks where millions over the years have seen so many great films.I love watching a movie here as I have done for decades, one of the few movie palaces one can see from the air.It is a true icon, beautiful inside and out.

Was here for the premier of Good Boys. Getting in is fine but when the movie is over and 600 plus people trying to get out of a theater at the same time and they have things barricaded of for celebrities and press, patience is the key. All and all had a good time, movie was great, and would do it all over again.

Fun place to visit near UCLA. Lots of places to dine, but it can be pricey at some places. Luckily they cater to college crowds so, youll find a taco truck and So Cals favorite burger In-n-Out. Traffic is bad and parking is scarce if you want to take the trip.

The big draw for me is the 70 mm screen - the first time I went to this theater was for “Die Hard” in the 80’s.Most recently, I saw “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” here and I’m glad I did instead of going to TCL Chinese theater (sometimes IMAX 3D isn’t worth the $24+ ticket).

They seem to only screen one movie at a time, but that theater hall is massive! It looks quite exquisite, and even has a balcony on the top. They also have a decent selection of snacks, popcorn, even caramel popcorn. That just stole the show for me, coz I love caramel popcorn and sadly most other theaters dont have it. You can also book tickets on the Atom app here, so that opportunity for discounts is a bonus!

I love these old theatres! This one is very large with a balcony; however, it is not stadium seating. The seats are slanted so you can still see the screen. The popcorn is above average but I have never had stale popcorn here. Since it is an older theatre, the bathrooms are located downstairs and there are only about 6 stalls. If the movie is crowded, expect to wait in line for the restroom.

Such a beautiful movie theater! Love the UCLA student discount. The employees do regularly tick me off by making a fuss about me bringing my scooter. They once told me that I would have to hold my scooter on my lap as not to block the walkway, which I found ridiculous, particularly given that the movie theater is rarely crowded, and that many theaters will store my scooter in a broom closet for me. They emphasized that they would be watching to make sure that I complied.

This historic theater, owned by Fox, has been in Westwood Village for over 50 years. The interior is heavily inspired by the Baroque style, and the screening spaces are huge. They also have really affordable ticket prices. For students, they can get tickets for $10, while general admission is $12.Just a warning, they have limited show times for certain movies. Ive noticed that they usually show 2 movies at a time, mostly the trending titles of the month. I highly recommend this space after a night out; street parking is available for cheap in comparison to their parking structure.

Most significant of the historic theaters in Westwood. Huge single screen inside, even bigger than the tower hints at.Kept in the original Art Deco fashion, down to the restrooms. Just keep in mind as a single-screen venue, concessions and restrooms are sized appropriately, so you will have to deal with lines for popular showings.

Beautiful classic theater with great pricing and services. The enormous screen is great for viewing new films! My only gripes are that parking is tough in Westwood, and I wish the theater could host more than one film at a time - Id definitely go multiple times to see different films instead of having to wait for a new film to rotate in.

Big screens, small crowds, and movie premieres! The Westwood Village Theater is a historic theater that is used multiple times per year for movie premieres, ranging from small to large productions. Great for UCLA (or other) students as they give a student discount ($8.50 per ticket, I believe), and given the lack of parking in the area, perfect for those on foot. Unfortunately, the theater is a single-screen, so if its not showing the movie you want, youre better off going a few miles away to a traditional movie theater.

In an era where small theatres are more a luxury than the rule, this place is a nice breath of fresh air.Compared with the Village Theatre just across the street it is very small, and is usually underwhelming to watch 3D movies there. The place is usually swarming with UCLA students who tend to clap at the end of the movie or make sassy comments in the middle. Not the best experience you may have, but still, a nice reminder of what going to the cinema used to be.

Since the vaue of a cinemas drinks and food comes by drinking or eating it during the movie, it is unintelligible that no refund was given.
