Beautiful morning on the trail around Coot Lake and trail over to Boulder Reservoir. Lots of dogs enjoying the cool water, still some wildflowers in bloom.

This was not a bad lake. It was okay for a trip with the dogs or maybe with a loved one. I was upset I couldnt kayak there and that was my only issue besides the parking lots being very crowded.

Nice clean lake, lots of wildlife and waterfowl. Dogs can swim on North and South side of lake. No boating but fishing is acceptable. Great local lake to check out.

A great place for a walk or to play with your well trained best friend. A great place to see birds or large fish, especially on the North side. Plenty of parking across the street at the park is the lake lot is full. Our pup loves to play fetch in the water out here.

Boulders most popular dog park of sorts. Nice 1.3 mile flat trail around the lake and also connects to the longer trail around Boulder reservoir.

There is a warning for toxic blue-green algae in the area, although no cases yet reported here. They have signs posted along the trail. Keep dogs and kids out of the water to be safe. Posting this 9/23/19

A perfectly located lake close to boulder and Longmont. This had the best views during sunset and fall seasonThere is a very well defined trail at the perimeter of the lake. The trail is about a 1.2 miles total and is flat and easy.Perfect place to let your dog swim and meet other dogs. The parking right by the lake is always full but there is always a lot of parking on the grounds across the road next to the lake. There is a restroom at the enterance and there is no entry fee!!

What a beautiful location even though its outside of a big city. I love seeing all the different dogs being walked off their leashes and how well-behaved they were. It was great to be able to watch them go in and out of the water. I dont think or know if that would help the fishing but it just made me appreciate Colorado and the area more.

Well maintained lake trail adjacent to Boulder Reservoir. Very nice people and dogs with a lot of opportunities to read informational signs, see wildlife, and relax on one of the many benches. The community contributes dog bags in case you forget yours and there are trash cans for easy dog bag disposal.
