I like the location of this amc, because I get coast, ocean, beach vibes. There are a lot of nice shops and stores here to. I gave this theater 3 stars, for several reasons. First reason, is because of the seats. The seats arent very comfortable to sit in for long movies. I went here for a nice, long movie, and felt very stiff the whole movie. And the second reason, is because the movie candy and snacks sold here are so expensive. I think it would be more convenient to the people, if the price was lowered, or you were allowed to bring your own snacks in.

I love this place. Love Ample, reclining seating and extra food options. Typical AMC, where the theatre is below a stairway. The actual theater entrance, to the right. They take my Atom we code tickets. Clean restroom, helpful staff and enjoyable Movie experiences. Parking is ample, with Outside mall experience

I wish there were more theaters like this one. It is beautiful, fun, and they also have good popcorn... I would not think this to be possible, except that I knew it was true.....I just saw Milk here and I am not an emotional person and I cried so much. It was such a beautiful movie in such a beautiful theatre.Thats enough sad talk. Go to this theater as much as possible, as it is something to be cherished and enjoyed.

Took my wife to catch Star Wars since I had taken my two boys opening weekend when she was out of town. We go here routinely, and are never disappointed. Some of theater staff know us by name, and we always enjoy going. My wife loved Star Wars and I enjoyed seeing it a second time. Full theater even after all this time. Friendly staff, clean theaters, yummy concessions.

A very nice theater with friendly staff. Parking is never really an issue and the theater has nice reclining seats. The audio and visual quality has always been spot on in my visits. One time my seat was not reclining and the staff was quick to come in, help, and fix the chair so that it would start working. The area outside the theater is a bit more mellow than most malls as well - there is a nice Barnes and Noble next door to spend time browsing before a show and a Starbucks as well.

My go to spot for watching movies. I have AMC A-List and since my fiance and I love going to the movies its a great way for us to save money. Watch at least 3 movies a month and you already start saving. If you dont see yourself doing that, then dont get it, wont be worth it. If youre reading this in January 2020, I recommend 1917 and The Gentlemen.

Great theater. I really enjoyed myself here. Not gonna lie it was pretty pricey but everything was super clean and workers were super sweet. No complaints here. Anywhere with good customer service is greatly appreciated.

I love this theatre! Good, close, free parking. Its small, so not a whole lot of noise in the theatres. The seats are comfy and recline with good viewing angles from anywhere in each of the theatres. Friendly staff. They sell all kinds of food, and theres a bar if youre into that. Theres also many, different restaurants and a Starbucks super close by as well. Its my favorite theatre to go to in Long Beach. Highly recommend!

Comfortable recliners and the stubs card saves us money

Very good theater complex. Screens, seating, and sound are updated and the staff is very accommodating. Nice mix of movies with some artier fare every so often. A few of the auditoriums are small but for the most part, these are nice sized theaters--especially on the right hand side of the complex. Best feature is $6 Tuedays with free Stubs membership. Simply cannot beat that. A great compliment to the art-oriented theater across the street.

Great service at the bar. The seats were very comfy. Took off one star because one of the seats was hard to recline. The button kept getting stuck.

SMALL, COZY MOVIE THEATER. THEY HAVE MANY DIFFERENT THEATER ROOMS AT THIS LOCATION. THE WIDE RECLINING SEATS ARE GREAT.....AS GOOD AS ANY FIRST CLASS SEAT ON A COMMERCIAL AIRLINE.

Well, probably the best experience Ive ever had in a movie theater. The comfort of the seats was unsurpassable. The sound was impressive. It was clean, the staff was great. It has a fully stocked bar, what can I say to that? It was a good time.

Great theater. Had an alchohol drink and was bummed that there were no tables or chairs where I could sit to enjoy it while waiting for my movie to start. Other than that, everything else was great.

At first we had a horrible experience get tickets to the Star Wars the previous night release through the Kios machine. It took my gift card and charged the remaining balance on my card yet never printed our tickets and waited 45 mins in the cold. Luckily we had a guardian angel security guard who helped us look for a manager. Ounce we couldnt find anyone on site he literally contacted the manager by phone. All was taken care of with the help of him and the manger on sight. Im sorry I forgot her name but she was so wonderful. I just remember she was on a wheelchair. Had a great time and I love how cozy and small it is. Doesnt feel over crowded and you get to pick your own seating. This location also serves alcohol and mix drinks if interested.

Congested area of parking lot where drivers are going too fast so be careful parking. For the Movie Theater itself, 1 Ticket Box Office and 2 different sides of entry for theater, depending on Movie Theater number, location. Seats are nice however, more time and effort should be spent on CLEANING Theater between Movies... Food Trash and Grime left over on/around seats. STAFF= Great! *In-Theater Disabled Spaces and Companion Seat available with verification at box office for those in need.

Horrible experience for my AP Lit students who were on a field trip to watch 1917! A rude, angry patron accused a student of being in his seat and before I could check my tickets and seating chart to resolve, he began to yell at the poor kids and got in their faces extremely combative and abrasive! The class was upset and felt uncomfortable being in the same theater with this person so I requested a refund and the employees and manager seemed a little nonchalant about the whole thing and apparently thought it was okay for an entire class of 30 to leave the theater, versus asking the ONE man causing all the chaos and commotion to leave!!! We were all very disappointed and me especially since this was a great learning opportunity for the kids to learn about the battles fought for their freedoms in this country and a chance to learn about true patriotism!

They have improved, from a lackluster theater, as a monarch butterfly has changed from a catapillar!They now Have Larger screens, Very Comfortable Recliners for seating, And A fully Stocked Bar!!! Cudos to them.I would have given them 5 stars but there was no Bartender on duty, Nor did one show up for 10 minutes, I didnt bother to wait that long, But when I was at the Concession stand they asked if someone was needing a bartender.! Also, Another patron left the bar, She had been waiting longer!Although, they have made sizable changes, They are LACKING IN THE CONCESSION Stand.They could provide a Larger assortment of and or Better Foods!!!!!!!

Pretty nice place. Remodeled not too long ago. Has a bar. Perfectly good place to see a movie. Get tickets a day in advance or so for good seats since the big seats mean the showings hold less people.

Parking was a little tough. But movie experience was enjoyable. Love AMC in whatever town Im in.

1st time at this location awesome seats that recline, clean seats and floor with the lights on lol... very nice they also serve alchohol I noticed although i dont drink i thought that was interesting. Dont fall asleep the seats are very comfy.

Very chill theater with some cool comfy recliner chairs. These chairs help if youre stuck having to pick front row seats to make watching the movie more tolerable. The only thing that sucks is the large popcorn. I bought a large popcorn thinking its a good deal since large popcorn gets free refills. Not here! If you want a refill you gotta be a member of the stub club thing.

I’ve always liked this theater. However when I went to take my daughter to her first 3D movie...they had trouble with the ticketing system. Bummed out, I thought we’d have to see a regular movie when they decided to let us in for free! Awesome customer service...we will keep coming back!

OMG.....Where have these seats been all my life? I have never been to a theater with seats like these before. You feel like you are watching the movie in a recliner in your house. They are super comfortable, electric, and go into a completely lying down position. Each person has an armrest and they each have a cup holder so there is no fighting with the person next to you. The only downside to this movie was that the theater was warm. My boyfriend asked them before it started and 2 times during the movie to turn the air cooler and nothing. You could start to feel it when we were leaving but that was too late of course. He was sweating and miserable the entire movie. He even had to go into the lobby for a bit because he was too hot. Im always cold, so if I was warm, I know it was hot in there.

I love this theater. I think it is the best here in Long Beach.

I always enjoy going to this AMC theater, and would prefer to go here more than the ones in Norwalk or Torrance.Its always clean and there never seems to be a long line at the concession stand. Is it because the theater entrance is split into two? Maybe.I love the recliners and I love using our AMC A-list subscription to reserve seats and get discounts on tickets and food.

Never been to this AMC and I have to say its very cute and feels more cozy rather than the monster AMC in orange. Staff is friendly and its clean. Definitely going to be my Go-to theatre from now on!

Went to see a movie with my family the other night. Did not have a very good experience do to staff. This one man I believe to be a manager walks around like he hates his job. And keeps making facing at people. The way he looked at me when I first walked in like bro Im not going to rob the place. Calm down and chill. When ordering my food I felt very rushed. I didnt ordered what I really wanted to because of that. On the other hand the food was great. The girl that served me my food was very polite and kind. Movie was awesome, screen was excellent quality, and seat were comfortable.

I came to this AMC to meet up with friends as it was the halfway point closest to us all. We were going to watch the movie Second Act. We came in the early morning, so it wasn’t super packed. I’m sure it gets packed in the evening. This AMC has two entrances and it depends on what gate the movie is playing on. The concession stand cashier was nice and explained the different options of popcorn. She was patient when we were deciding on what to order. We ordered a large gourmet variety where you can select 2 flavors of popcorn. We ordered the caramel and cheddar. The popcorn was nice and warm and didn’t taste stale. The best part of this AMC was they had recliner seats. I have been to other AMCs and they still haven’t upgraded so it was a good feature. I will come to this AMC again if I was in the area.

Love this theater because the beach is minutes away. So after a great movie its nice to take a stroll around there.

Nice, clean, friendly staff. We watched the early am showing of Rocketman. Parking was fine. There are small places around to grab a bite. I think I saw a sign for over flow parking accommodations, since we were there early, we had a close parking. There is a left and right entrance, depending on what screen your movie is showing. We bought our tickets online, there is a service charge for this.

Pretty decent theater since they upgraded the seating to recliners. Better food and beer choices dont hurt either.

The AMC at Marina Pacifica is a great theater to frequent if you want a lesser crowd, particularly in the afternoon; its best to preorder a ticket in order to choose your seat, a great option if you are a stickler for preferred seating; this theater recently added a full bar as well. Overall, a great experience if you just want to watch a movie by yourself and want to avoid a bustling crowd.

First off, I want to give a shoutout to MoviePass running at $10.00 a month (for a short period of time): I went to the movies every night until I watched every film inclusive of the independent films at a local theater and continued so as new films released in theaters until Movie Pass readjusted. Now, Im an AMC A-Lister. I enjoy films and reviewing them (IG: @OulsiuenBeneigr). Catering to watching films in comfort is a task AMC fulfills well (concerning my experiences with AMC). Plus, AMC treats their A-Listers well with good customer service and an agreeable-affordable monthly rate.AMC Marina Pacifica 12 has recliner chairs which feel so good. Not all AMCs have recliner chairs. Every time I visit, AMC is already clean or someone is cleaning. This is not a Dine-In AMC. When I make a rare snack purchase, I buy the Mozarella Sticks: they tasted a lot better before the cancellation and the reinstating of them: the most recent answer to my inquiry about them during their removal concerned seeking a company/vendor change.AMC has a good amount of space to enter and exit. The parking lot is huge. The films look and sound good though only so many select films are played at this theater (its not the biggest AMC). The temperature managing improved a lot. Now, I sit in shorts and dont feel like I need blankets or long sleeves.

Do not use their AMC A-List program, its a SCAM!You will have to pay a $23.95 cancellation fee if you cancel within 3 months! It is impossible to cancel online, youll have to call and their customer support is really, really bad (not to mention rude), be prepared to be on hold for at least 20 minutes.If AMC *wanted* to LOSE customers, they could not do any better.Yeah, and theres also the story of the usher giving adults kids 3D glasses because he was too lazy to go get the right size. Getting better all the time, Ill tell ya!

You basic AMC, but in a better-than-average location. Best Indian place in LB is downstairs, theres also a Ralphs, Starbucks and candy shop nearby. As someone who has routinely made last minute decisions to come here, I highly recommend getting there early, buying your tickets and then wandering around the Barnes and Noble until showtime.

What movie theater is quite wonderful. Entry into this facility is always fairly rapid the employees are very responsive. Also one unique thing about this facility is that it actually has a bar. You can order a cocktail take it to the movie sit and drink your cocktail while you watch the movie. Prices are fairly reasonable as compared to other amazingly expensive theaters with the crazy cost of food. Being down in the Shore area of Long Beach the environment as always very comfortable. However traffic is during the after business hours and weekends is occasionally irregularly quite heavy. The only negative thing about this facility is the parking. Parking at this movie theater is challenging each and every time

Seats arent as spacious and comfortable as Cinemark. The soda machine wasnt regulated correctly. Had more of a carbonated water flavor. Speakers were not loud. Could hear people breathing more than the actual movie. Popcorn was fresh though.

This theater has reclining seats, which is super important for my bestie who has a disability that makes sitting for hours painful. I like their food selections and really enjoy the AMC member perks. Cant beat 12 movies a month for $20.

I love the movie theater here, they remodeled it so that each auditorium has less seats but each seat reclines like a lazy boy chair and its super comfortable.... And Tuesday nights is stubs night so if your a member then the cost is only $5.00 per person. We saw Steven Kings remake of Pet Sematary . On a scale 1 through 10,10 being the best one being the worst I would give it a 6+

I went to a matinee here, and it was great! I really like that more theaters have you choose your own seats because you no longer have to worry about saving seats. I cant speak to the cleanliness when its busier, but the staff was really on top of customer service and keeping the facility clean. Free parking at the Marina Pacifica shopping center, and the theater itself is down a level.

I always find the theaters and lobby area clean. The additions over the last years of stadium and reclining seating, advance seat choice, $5 movie Tuesday for AMC Stubs members and other club benefits, a bar serving adult beverages, and ample free parking make going out to the movies fun like it was when I was a kid.

Seat are fantastic. Movie theather is so nice and clean. The restrooms are so close to each door of a movie room. They do have a bar for those who enjoy a lovely drink when they see a movie. The only problem is that their prices are way too high. The amc theaters always have to most expensive $$$ for their food and snacks.

Took the grandsons there to see a movie and the theater had trash on the seats. I was annoyed

My brother and I enjoyed an outing to this theater courtesy of the Spinal Cord Injury Recreation Team at the Long Beach VA. Pretty standard in quality. Only area of improvement would be the length of time it took to get a closed captioning device. Other than that, I was grateful for their willingness to accommodate the veterans. Thank you!
