It was quite wonderful. My daughter and I planned on going to the beach. But as were driving down the 605 fwy I mention the park. So we ate our lunch in the car and went inside to have a drink. Relaxing just to talk over life. Good service and out doors.

After church Sunday lunch, we always have a group of 8 to 12. We enjoy the restaurant because its clean, we like the large windows facing the golf course, we like the water pitchers on the table, we like separate checks and we do like the food. The kitchen puts the extra effort and making our meals nice and we appreciate that. We rotate this restaurant with about 4 others and its just a good place for a Sunday afternoon.

Its like being in your own backyard just bigger. Very environmentally comfortable safe and cozy. Plus... if its one of them too hot sunny days, it has plenty of trees to block the sun rays, Making El Dorado Park a five star place to be.

This park is well kept and has plenty of space. Barbeques are all over, benches, and lots of trees. Four distinct ponds for fishing, a few bridges over the water for wedding photos, a model boat area with pylons for a course, a model airplane area, a model helicopter and quad copter area too. Lots of space for flying kites. Bike rentals and water bikes as well. Oh on weekends there is a mini train ride and a birthday area directly next to it available by reservation.

Great walkable muni course. Overall was in good condition except the greens. Greens have not been mowed and very soft which made for tough putting.

Didnt get to play the course, but the driving range is ok. Its a bit small so you have to wait for someone to finish before you can practice.

Since I was a little girl this park has been a great place to go, feed the ducks and have a good time with Family.

El Dorado is a must play Long Beach golf course. It is a parkland layout and the greens are usually in good shape and put true. At times they can be very quick. The layout is fun and challenging. This course gets very busy in 5 hours or more is the norm. Good practice area I like the putting green the driving ranges decent.

I attended a memorial there and it was very nice. We had a great lunch afterwards. A memorial is not something I would like to do all the time but it was fine.

The golf clubs we received to rent were terrible. They didnt give you a full set and mixture of brands. They were dirty and we had to clean them ourselves. The rental came with no tees or a sleeve of golf balls. Tried to add an additional person to our tee time as listed on the reservation policy and told we were unable. Poor customer service. Pro shop was over priced and had a terrible selection. Would not recommend for the number and selection of other golf courses in the area.

Good golf course. But no security in parking lot. Lots of scum around to break into your car. It is Long Beach though I should have known better.

Eldorado Golf course is a very nice course its forgiving all the while challenging, the pros in the clubhouse were very nice.

Driving range way too crowded too many people into buckets of balls 45 minutes to get spot

The food is not only affordable but good as well. Parking is limited, VERY limited due to most parking spots here are taken by golfers. Nice green landscaping, patio dining and more.

El dorado a few years ago was a wonderful place to play golf. Now, it is so mismanaged by American golf and it’s staff. It is more frustrating than its money or time. What a waste of time. The lesson here is unless your ready for slow, poor conditions, and unattentive management and overpriced golf. Without proper martialing Play here all day.Rarely will you finish a round, rarely will you start on time. What a disappointing place ElDorado has become. You don’t get what you pay for here. You must pay to play, and pay elsewhere. The money will afford you better conditions and time efficiency. Way to go American golf. Ruined another course your American way!

The golf course is very nice. Not easy for a recreational golfer like me. The driving range is average. As of today they need to replace the mats. More yardage markers would help too. The bar area is small but nice. Good atmosphere always

I enjoyed playing this course. It’s not too expensive and it’s really fun to play. There are some challenging holes with water that you’ll have to work around and overall it’s a great test of your skill but not too difficult to play where it’s frustrating. It’s also not a very expensive course to play out it is a great value

This course is in very good shape from tee to green and presents a very good challenge Most every hole is tree lined and there is playable rough if you miss the fairway. Greens are fast and bumpy in some places but definitely very playable. The rates are reasonable even for non city residents. There is a pro shop, restaurant, large driving range, chipping area and several practice putting greens

Really fun, full & challenging course & the price is definitely right. Actually, this is probably one of the best courses in Orange County for the price.Great course layout too. Good amount of water. Lots of trees - which can make the course even more challenging if ya cant keep yr ball in the fairway but they do provide great shade (@the least).Ive played this course a # of times over the years & I am pleasantly surprised every time I go back. Highly recommend it.

Good golf course home to the Long Beach Open. The restaurant offer happy hour, daily dinner specials and indoor and outdoor seating with several TVS to watch sports. I like the chicken special also the chicken wings are great . Good for groups, families and friends! You can go for food and drinks or add golfing and make a day. Parking is free! Also a good wedding spot.

Went to the restaurant. Good food, good atmosphere. They were very busy with two special groups so service was a little slow, but we were visiting with friends, so no problem.

A bit pricey and very few par 3s

Course is in good shape, missing a great bartender like Paisley. They were so busy on a Wednesday, but no snack shack and no cart girl. Bring a cooler or go without for 5 hours.

I have not been yet, but the service I received from the team, in particular Sungmin, was second to none! Its extremely refreshing to receive great customer service and to feel valued without even stepping foot on the property yet! Looking forward to updating this with my experience on the course.

This place is pretty run down. They need to pay more attention to maintenance. Its a huge park and use to be pretty nice, but now like allot of government run facilities these days, its just run down third world looking.

Decent Course but plays really slow. Expect a 6 hour round on a Friday afternoon.

I like it cuz its got a lot of trees and its down where you get the coastal breeze so its cool not scorching hot like Santa Anita and Glendora

This is an awesome wedding venue. Morgan and Laura were so helpful in planning everything, accommodating us and answering our countless questions. The ceremony space was beautiful and the reception very functional and fun. They recommended many vendors, which all worked out so well. Great please for your wedding and a great price point!

Cool little muni golf course with good prices. Restaurant has decent food but a nice view of putting green and driving range. Nice place to hang out and have a drink or bar food even if your not golfing.

Course condition was much better in comparision to other course. Luckily was able to finish the entire 18 at super twilite...believe it!El Dorado has always been on my favorite local courses; just recently it gets much slower pace...between 5~6hrs....but my most recent was an enjoyable one...staffs are always friendly and the greens are always above par...i meant under par...wait better is what i meant...so is it under or over ...

The is a great place for everyone, business or pleasure, it has plenty of picnic tables and chairs, 3 great fishing lakes, bike rentals and trails, paddle boats, small scale train ride, archery range, (only on weekends and holidays), dog park, nature park w/ a 1/4, 1 and 2 mile walking trail around 2 lakes, there is a fee for parking but is worth it.

Well maintained, good challenge. Sometimes the pace of play is pretty bad, but we usually get our round in at @4 1/2 hours which isnt brutal for 6,600 yards. Greens are good.

This course never drains well after a good rain...it will probably be cartpath only for at least 3-4 days. I would call first before playing there. Having said that, the greens were almost perfect except for the idiots that dont fix their ball marks.....never saw the beverage cart...they have too many kids working there. Maybe theyre trying to cut cost....but for a muni, its just ok...

Went here to Frisbee golf. They have one of the best courses around. Its large and dense with trees. A smaller course is over at Liberty park off of Artesia and Studebaker. This park is great for having so much to do as well as being a nice place to relax.

Fun track; small fast greens make up for the relatively easy fairways aside from a few tricky dog legs.

It was a great experience as always I love taking my kids there to see the ducks and they love the turtles too

Beautiful little getaway from what I can see..

Grew up in this area and it still looks great but all the characters in the sequel are a lot younger.

Went for breakfast. Good food, fast service, clean atmosphere, good views of golf course and mts.

The course was in great shape,got stuck behind a few hackers that slowed us down,but still was a good time.

I attended a friends wedding here. It is a very nice location.
