I love Palmina! Ive been a member for years and have always enjoyed taking family and friends here when they are in town. Dolcetto is my all time favorite.

Great wine, solid tasting line up, and the staff are fantastic. Palmina makes some great wine, so always worth a stop. Tasting room is a good size, which is nice, and carries their lineup of non-wine products (the olive oil is pretty good). Staff know their stuff, and really, the wine speaks for itself.

Ambience is amazing and everyone feels like family! Wines are perfectly balanced.

I lived in Santa Barbara county from 2001 - 2009 (and in Lompoc, where Palminas headquarters are). I am a fan of red wines, and I spent the first 5 years trying to find the best red wines in the area. The next 3 years, I tried to figure out which were the best priced red wines. Overall, I found Palmina has some of the best wines. Once I moved away, I maintained my membership with them and I have amazed my guests with sampling from their wines. Their blends are superb and well balanced, such as the Alisos (or their Super Tuscan, which is amazing). The Lagrein is excellent, the Undici -- fantastic. Their new La Voix Syrah was the best wine I ever had in my entire life (including sampling in Il Chianti, Italy). Their staff is always cheerful, helpful, and the quick respond. I cannot speak more highly of a winery than Palmina.
