A little touch of wilderness returning to its natural state which butts up to wine country and suburbia. Easy access and adequate parking. A great place to take a moderate 1 - 2 mile hike and enjoy a little taste of mother nature. We are so fortunate to have Easy Bay Parkes and Reserves to provide and maintain such wonderful areas of recreation.
The views are great. The paved path is fantastic. Theres very little in the way of hiking.
On summer weekends the parking lot will be fairly full by mid-morning. The park has a variety of trails, paved and gravel. The views are terrific, with the sweeping landscape if Livermore sprawling out in front of you. Plus goats!
This place is beautiful and has great customer service! bocce ball court is fun to use, but there us only one
Great little getaway hike in Livermore. A bunch of tiny lizards around this time of year.
Nice place for a walk. And bring your quarters to feed the friendly goats at the entrance.
Had a good walkabout 1.5 miles up and around to the parking lot. Nice views and friendly patrons.
Good place for a nice walk
Beautiful place to go and feed the goats and be free in the open fields of pure untouched nature.
Its a great walking park with sites of wine production, gnarled oaks, and Livermores best spring flowers. The park has a divided bike/walking asphalt trail and two other hills you can walk up and around. There is a great shot at the top of the hills of Livermore Valley and Mount Diablo. Parking is at the top of the entrance past the farmer :)Estimated walk time: 15-60 minutes depending if you go on the back trail and if you are going slow.
Great paths and close parking. Dont forget to bring quarters to feed the goats!
Its a great overview of Livermore with a beautiful sunset
Small park, but good amount of parking. The hike was short, but it was a good hike with a bit of a climb. The view of the Livermore Valley was better than I expected. Too bad for the power transmission lines, but a nice little park. The trail on the hill is a bit narrow, watch your footing.
Beautiful place for hiking
Lovely place for a walk or bike ride.
Great hiking trails and great to ride bike through.
Heaven on earth....Beautiful and peaceful. A wonderful place for a hike or a bike ride.
Very nice place. I enjoyed the Segway tour so much.
Great place to watch the sunset
Narrow paths over hill or can choose a paved path through neighborhood.
Enjoyed the hike with the family. Wish there was a public restroom though.
The wildflowers and bees are in full session up on the hillside at Holdener Park if you get a chance get out on the trail for a nice walk.
What a wonderful place to hike. The hills were green, the inclines were challenging and just enough mixed with flat walking. Definitely adding to my favorites.
Excellent place for a nice long romantic walk at sunset. You see bunnies, a Lama farm, and plenty of vineyards. Great road to walk, bike, jog or walk your dog.
Hidden gem. Great hillside hiking trails. Trees and views. The paved trails are giod for horses, walking and biking too.
I love this park because none really goes here. There is a nice trail through the hills but there is no shade parking or much shade at all. Just a parking area then the bike trail that leads to some hiking trails. No playground, picnic areas or sports fields.
This is my land! So if I see you get the hell out!
We all enjoyed the trails, and scenic views.
Great trail
There is no water at this park. Not even at the trail crossings no bathroom
Great starting point for using the walk/bike/run trails. The parking is free and you are on a hill overlooking some of the Livermore Valley.
It was ok the only thing is there no public bathrooms!!! Not good
Open, wonderful view of the valley... Definitely worth a walk...
Great Trail connecting all the way to Sycamore grove park. From holdner park parking, round trip through sycamore grove parking to Hansen rd, back to holdner parking in 3 miles. Scenic views along the wineries, would say one of the top 2 walking hiking trails in trivalley. Mountain trails also along the way. Country side feeling to it too.
Good to get outdoors with the family and enjoy the beautiful views
Nice stop on the way into Livermore. Clean restrooms.
Good paved cycleway and adjoining walk trail, part of the Livermore trail system
Nice hiking area if its not too hot.
Easy hike or walk for all ages
Good hike and quiet. Great for getting back into workouts.
A nice place to go for a walk with the pup, but the power lines and water storage tanks detract from the aesthetic quite a bit.
What a fun, pretty park
Great place to hike.
Nice to walk.
Beautiful hiking spot
