Ive been to quite a few distilleries. It is quite rare to find one that has this many different types of whiskies on hand. Even rarer to find good ones across that wide of a range. We tried 4 of the highest rated: bourbon, barley, rye and rice whiskeys. Each was excellent and exceeded our expectations! The Barley Whiskey was rich and flavorful and distinct from the herd by a long stretch. Unique and deliciously akin to a great Scotch. Still reminiscent of bourbon but it mitigates out the corn sweetness with the depth of barley richness. 95 points indeed! The rye whiskey is my new favorite! It has the heat and the spice and complexity to stand up to mixing and sipping it straight. Each taste brought out some new elements. Stunningly complex and well worth having more of! Well done!
Cocktails are a little pricey, but the drink of the week made up for it. Staff was great!! The vibe is cool and laid back. Definitely will be back!
One of the best tasting evenings weve had. The whole staff at Rock Town distillery were very welcoming, kind and very knowledgeable about all of the drinks on offer. The tasting tour was worth it and we definitely recommend if youre stopping in town! Its also worth browsing in the gift shop to see (and taste more) and grab a few bottles to take home. The decor and atmosphere is amazing as well. P.s. dont do it on an empty stomach! The bar snacks came in handy!
My wife and I went to the tour, and had a wonderful time! Highly recommended! Abi gave us our tour, and she was wonderful! Lots of good information, and delightful drinks to sample!
The staff at Rock Town deserve a million awards. They are all so friendly nd gracious, and have a great sense of humor. Rock Town has been my only bar experience during COVID and I love how safe and sanitized the bar room has felt, and always enjoy a drink here.
The tour was just amazing, very informative, but of course the tasting is the best part of any tour. Definitely got to try out some great product that I didnt even know existed being from Dallas myself. Definitely a great find and ended up leaving with a bottle of their sour mash. Will visit again next time i am in Little Rock
So very fun. Sadly I hate Arkansas, but this was so very fun and exciting. Im so going back for some product.
I am from out of town and I really enjoyed this place. The quality of the whisky they are putting out is unbelievable. The people were sweet and informed, and I hope to be back again someday.
Definitely come to this establishment !! They have a lot of flavors and tastes that will please the palette! Christian was an awesome tour guide and bartender! He is very knowledgeable about Rock Town. Sydney checked me out with a helpful advice on what to purchase and I wanted it all! Im coming back again!
Great experience, the tour was very interesting and informative! The guide Sydney is a sommelier of spirits so was never stumped by our questions! If you dont stop by and pick up a bottle youll be missing out!
This was on my list of places to check out while in LR. We came in a bit before the 4 pm tour and tasting and that is ideal. Plenty of parking and seating. Its kid and pet friendly too. Very cozy, great staff and a fun experience if you enjoy liquor. Add this micro-distillery to your list if youre looking for something different. We are bringing back a ton more bottles back home than we planned for!
It’s just gorgeous and absolutely amazing selection. it’ll blow your mind beautiful indoor setting. The service and staff are awesome they bend over backwards for you. Just an absolutely amazing selection located in a beautiful section of town it’s a must if you like your Bourbons and vodka.
Great atmosphere and great spirits. Macy who gave us the tour was very knowledgeable.
Overpriced alcohol for pretentious millennials with too much time on their hands. Worst snacks ever.
The place is sooooo REMARKABLE and I Love the conception story and the inner workings of how they uniquely distilled their products. The Spirit Guide and Staff was super-friendly, accommodating and informative!
I will forever remember quarantine and this pandemic synonymous with Rocktown Basil Vodka and Lemonade. That you for being gracious, kind, and most of all, positive! You guys are the best of us! I will forever be a fan.
I had so much fun during my tour, and Christian is an AMAZING spirit guide!! Great personality and very knowledgable on all the products! Would definitely reccomend others to visit!
They were only doing bottle service when I went there but what I saw of the place looked really nice. It was cool to see the barrels from the window walking up. The hand sanitizer and the vodka I purchased will both be put to good use.
Great whiskey, vodka, and gin. Amazing tour.
On a spontaneous trip and had a great time with Jade our spirit guide!!!!!
Lovely place. Friendly bar staff! They made me a mocktail off the menu which us non-drinkers with drinker friends will appreciate. I just told the waitress that I like ginger and she made something delicious based on just that! Plus the inside is very cute to boot. The drink in the picture is: grapefruit juice, honey ginger syrup and ginger beer.
Tour was great! It was over an hour long so you def get your moneys worth. You also get free tastings which was awesome! They have delicious cocktails. I had the drink of the week and it was fantastic! Only $5 too! The place is very clean too. We will be back!
This place is so fun! We took a great tour of the distillery and had some really good cocktails afterwards. The entire staff is super fun and friendly. Rock Town is definitely my favorite brand for vodka and after taking this tour I learned that the rest of their liquors are just as good. Loved being able to tour this place and get to know the staff.
Pretty good place. We got a flight of 4 whiskeys. The whiskey was pretty good but not great. My old fashioned wasnt great but the atmosphere was pretty fun. The staff was pretty nice and every was having a good time.
Jade was our spirit guide, she was amazing and very informative! My husband and I went for our anniversary and I would highly recommend the tour, totally worth the money and a great experience. Very welcoming atmosphere and everyone is very helpful and laid back. Extremely reasonable pricing at the bar and the spirits for sale. 10/10 would recommend and we will be back.
Out of town visiting family..Sister took me for a tour..I really enjoyed my self..Jade(the tour guide) was hella informative about about the products they made..The only knock(which was not in her control)..We weren’t able to see the barrel room..I’ve been on a couple of tours back home in Houston..So I know how the process goes but still would have like to see it nonetheless..The samples were amazing Jade was DEFINITELY on point with the pours...If you go with a medium size crowd..The tables fill up quick but they do have two luxurious leather couches for sitting..I’d take those over hard chairs any dayIf you are from out of town..Check it out..
Cool bar, have games such as uno, jenga, chess, checkers, connect four. And all your regular drinks plus their own moonshine. Cool different place
Whiskey enthusiast tour was excellent!
I had a scheduled tour with a business group (rough right?) and really enjoyed my visit. Yes, I have to admit, it was my first trip to a distillery so I have nothing to compare to, but the folks at Rock Town set the bar high. Our tour was directed by Phil Brandon, owner, and I enjoyed hearing from the man who had the vision for this venture in the first place. He not only knows his liquor but he knows business. The tasting afterward was great. I had the opportunity to try almost all the products except the Hickory Smoked Whiskey which was completely out. Looks like Ill need to come back for that! I think my favorite was the Apple Pie Lightning. Im a vodka drinker and I enjoyed tasting Brandons vodka. I was also sure to enjoy it in several drinks at the bars around town during my visit! The bottling parties might be one of the smartest ideas Ive seen in a long time - invite friends in and make them do the work - customers are thrilled with their own little cocktail party and the Distillery is thrilled with the free labor :) Great place to visit while in Little Rock.
Such a cool, fun place! I would highly recommend taking the tour with tasting--definitely worth the price. I love that you can buy bottles here on Sundays, too!
Great new location. Now with a full bar. Good selection of their own spirits and cocktails, along with 6 regional microbrews. Very friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit.
This is a great local place that is open to everyone. Great drinks and friendly bartenders! Chill atmosphere. Visiting town? Go on the tour!
Awesome little tour for only $10! And you get to taste 10 half shots! Great time if youve never toured a distillery before!
Christian gave an excellent tour! This is an exceptional distillery; award-winning whiskey, vodka, and gin, along with games to play while you drink
They played Kim Petras on the radio. Im forced to Stan
Really enjoyed the tour
Liked the way the tour and tasting was organized. They really have some good stuffs.
Wonder and knowledgeable staff who treated our group like friends. They took the time to answer any questions we had. Top notch folks. Really enjoyed the tour, if you are in town, its a must to visit and take the tour, youll be happy you did.
Doing the tour of brewerys and distillerys in Little Rock. Started here with a morning Spicy Bloody Mary. Was excellent!
Incredible service, and great spirits. The hickory smoked bourbon and their single malt was incredible.
Great guide for the tour and a delicious tasting of the products for only $10! My husband and I stayed for cocktails afterward and they were delectable. A great place to start date night.
Macie was awesome! Great tour. Awesome tasting process. Keep it up! Will be back for Tuesday cocktail class.
Great whiskey, service and atmosphere
First time in Arkansas. Didn’t know what the plans might be. Ended up catching a 2:00 PM Tour with Stephanie. She told us up front it was only her second tour. She was awesome. Honor to be part or her early tours and we have no doubt that if she wants there will be many more.Excellent tour, very cool to see the process. And then the past part. The tasting was nothing but smooth. We’re from Maine and only hope to be able to get the product soon. Thank you Steph. Excellent time !!!
This new location is much more convnient and a better set up than the old. The layout inside is very nice and makes you feel like you are in a distillery. We had to purchase a couple of items and while we only went in for one item, we ended up purchasing more. The selection was that good. Also, if we had any questions about certain ‘flavors’, we were provided small samples. The employees who helped us were extremely friendly and answered any questions we had. When we visit Little Rock, it is a requirement we stop by to purchase some of their wares. Excellent.IF you are interested in a tour, visit their website for scheduled times.
Absolutely awesome!
Fiancé and I went in for a tour and had a great time. Trent was a great tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and friendly! Definitely will be visiting again.
Christian is the best! Awesome liquors! The basil vodka and the lemon vodka... Omg!Real bartenders who understand flavors and presentation. Awesome experience!
Excellent service. Weve been loving drinks made by all the bartenders, but Christian, Kat, and Paige were especially stellar. Really down to earth team that cares about their customers. We would come back every day if possible!!
I cant honestly provide a really good review since I didnt stay very long. This establishment seemed to be in a really good part of town. I noticed a bakery across the street. When I went inside it really wasnt what I was expecting. If you have ever been to a distillery in Kentucky you may be a little surprised since this is a smaller distillery in comparison. I appalled them for starting something different, especially, for Little Rock. I arrived too early for a tour so I didnt go. There was a nice gentleman who saw me come in and acknowledge me right away. Spoke with him a little and he answered all my questions. I thought he was very pleasant to speak with and was very helpful.
We stopped by tonight for the first time just to check it out and we were impressed. Very friendly staff and environment.
I enjoyed the drinks even though they were extra strong/tasty but still good, great company and nice atmosphere!
Went here for the first time tonight. Very good quality tour. I’ve been on several other distillery tours in Kentucky and the knowledge is right up there with the big distilleries. Our guide Christian and other employee Rob did an excellent job and I would recommend a stop by the store. It’s a small distillery and a small operation but they do quality work in my opinion. And like all the other distilleries I’ve been to not all the tastings are to my pallet but I did find a new vodka and another bourbon that I’m taking home.
Did the tour, Stephanie was a great guide. Very knowledgeable about distilling and made the entire experience enjoyable.
Took a tour with Christian and learned a lot about the distilling process, highly recommend this fantastic Little Rock distillery!
Great vodka. Has no smell or taste which is unusual for a 40 proof vodka. Price is awesome and it tastes better to me than titos.
We went for a tour, walked in and didn’t get acknowledged by any staff (despite several people in there standing around) and tables were all dirty so there was nowhere to sit. We went to the bar and the bartender helped several people and when it was my turn she left to go clean tables. I was there for about 15 minutes and couldn’t get any help so we ended up leaving. They appeared to be busy but a simple “give me a minute” or any type of acknowledgement would have been great. I’ve worked in customer service for a long time so while I understand that things get hectic, I can’t say I’d ever go back after.
Knowledgeable staff that are friendly and can answer any question you might have about their beverages or their process if you decide to take one of their tours. Not to mention their award winning whiskey is made from locally sourced goods!
This place is so cool. Plenty of room and great decor. Also, the drinks are top-notch. Buy a bottle of bourbon to take home! The servers/tour guides are fun, too. If youre hanging out Im SoMa, do not skip the distillery.
Jade was an amazing spirit guide. Friendly, knowledgable and fun.
Awsome stop, great drinks. Definitely worth the stop and the tasting.
We really enjoyed our experience here today! Excellent cocktails and very friendly staff! The tour was short and sweet and then we ejenjoy a very good tasting. I would definitely recommend this place!
They need to sell their vodka up hear in Wisconsin! The finest vodka money can buy!
Great tour of the first distillery to open in Arkansas since Prohibition ended. Generous pours during the tasting. Highly recommend the coffee liqueur!
Took a cool little tour here. Well worth the cost and learned a lot. They have a delicious grapefruit vodka. Try the Walker Talkie!
LOVED this place! Had a lovely selection of drinks, great service, and it was not expensive at all. The gin was delightful, and their cocktails were great too.
It was an incredible time we had. They do have a full service bar, and can sell entire bottles of their Alcohol which is an incredible line up including vodka flavored and non, 3 different gins, and several whiskey selections. Also a major selling point... they can sell it on su day which is kind of a big deal in Arkansas I was informed. They also have an impressive amount of novelties, shirts and glassware. To go along with some whiskey and gin we bought a set of Glencairn style glasses with the logo etched in. The staff was friendly and informative. The tour is normally 10 dollars a person for the regular tour switch includes a tasting at the end but we happened in on the 9th anniversary and all the tours that day where free.
Nice place, new location, great gin, tricky parking
Lovely facility, cozy atmosphere, and great cocktails and bottled liquor. We left with 3 bottles of different things and I 100% recommend the blackberry.Love the local sourcing and the laid back Little Rock vibe.
Christian and Kristin (hopefully spelled right) were absolutely amazing on our tour of the distillery! Loved every minute of it! They have a $5 special, even on Saturday’s, and you can drink it on the tour. They laughed with us as we made stupid jokes, and the tasting was amazing. Highly recommend this distillery, and I hope it goes far. Our second time there.
Friendly staff and great atmosphere. i love the old mans bourbon ( i think thats what it is called? ) . the bar tenders are knowledgable on drinks and what goes in them. be warned they make the drinks stout and you get plenty for your money
Tour was ok. The guide wasnt very knowledgeable. The tasting after however was very good. Good bar there too.
The new location is amazing, beautiful set up and building. When I was there, last, they were not even fully settled-in, but it felt like they were right at home! One thing that saddens me, a little, is the increase in price for the tour. However, its still far better than others Ive been to, both in terms of price and quality. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and seems to treat pretty much everyone the same. I will always support local. Business when I can, but this is one of those places I would go to no matter what. Quality service, quality product, quality people, and all around comparable pricing (not *always* competitive, but well worth it).
We had a great experience here. It was started by a laid-off IT Engineer who had perhaps the best mid-life crisis ever and founded a micro-distillery. The tour is informative (perhaps a bit brief) and the tasting afterward was fantastic. We were able to sample their entire product line of whiskeys, gins, and vodkas, and ended up purchasing 4 bottles to take home because they were so good. The hostesses were knowledgeable and delightful.
Great place to hang with friends and the the drinks are fabulous. The bar tenders seem knowledgeable about the taste and ingredients.
Expensive, but some of the best whiskey, gin, and bourbon around. Worth the stop if youre passing through on I-30 and want a good nightcap (or daycap or whatever wink wink)
Clean and friendly.
Have done the tour several times and have even participated in a bottling event. The booze are all top shelf, every last bit of it. Their gin is to die for. Theyve won so many awards nationwide, definitely worth a taste. Every time weve taken a tour we have had knowledgeable and welcoming guides. It is a tiny facility, but the employees are engaging and know the entire process, from grain to shelf. I highly recommend taking the time to check out Arkansass first legal distillery.
Jade was fkn awesome!
Really tasty stuff.
Did the tour yesterday, July 21, and learned a lot about the process of making their product. Met the owner and his son, who were both very nice and informative, as were all the other staff. Had a nice cocktail before the tour and did some sampling after. A+
One of the best tours Ive ever done of anything anywhere. Really impressed with not just the quality of the drinks but also the experience of the tour. Cant wait to come back.
This is one of the hidden gems of all of Arkansas. A venue that checks all the awesome boxes, and its actually educational, too! Their products are spectacular, and the people are some of the best - not only in the distillery world, but also theyre just really nice. If youre at all a liquor pro, or even if you dont know anything about it but want to set a high benchmark for yourself, this should be a destination.
Worse service. Guy named Trent Brandon. Wont ever deal with these peeps again.
You’ll get 10 liquor samples after the tour… be prepared.
I thought it was a great time. I loved the barrel aged gin, and the sourmash. Great knowledge of the staff.
Great tour. Fun place to have a drink.
Great spirits that are only trumped by their ultra friendly staff. Stop in and you wont be disappointed. Knowledgeable and polite staff will guide you through all their selections, products and facilities. Highly recommended. Highly.
Very informative tour. I knew almost nothing about mashes, distilling, or cooperages, but the owner (and tour guide) was very helpful and answered a lot of customer questions. Its a small setup, but its clean and welcoming. The tasting session was clearly a fan favorite and Ill definitely make Rock Town a permanent part of my liquor cabinet. If I ever find myself in Little Rock again, Ill definitely swing by for another tour.
My girlfriend got us tickets to the tour for my birthday. We had never done a distillery tour before and Im glad we did. They explain the process for making the whiskey, show you the different rooms and techniques involved, then (and this was my favorite part) you go back to the bar and taste their different products. The staff was very knowledgeable and great about answering questions about the different whiskeys, gins, and moonshines that they make.
