Eh.... Pond is going dry.... No major walking trails....but we did like the swinging glider.. could use some updates tho

It a good place to take kids. Theyve remodel it look very nice. Just to go,and sit to get out the house.

Its likely youll have the park practically to yourself; but, my nine year old son was able to befriend a boy on the playground and play a raquet sport with a wiffle ball and throw a frisbee.This park is designed for handicapped guests. My son liked the globe net merry go round.They are renovating the park. There is a nice walking path. We got to see the train go by covered with cool graffiti tags.There are heavy equipment vehicles over at the Riggs Caterpillar dealership across the street to look at.There are very tame geese and a nice pond.The basketball court is usable. The tennis court needs an overhaul.Theres one built in BBQ grill.Im not sure what goes on at the nice looking activity center.There is free City of Little Rock WiFi but it says to ask the host for login info.I think this is what is good about Google Maps - I searched for a park close to Arch St.

The LR Parks Department is currently working to improve this park.The biggest hurdle for the park is the area of town its located. Southwest is currently a dangerous place. I would not live in the area much less go to parks there. I grew up in Southwest when it was clean, safe and yes . . .predominately white, who chose not to rob and kill.

Im grateful for a place like this for my daughter . Children with special needs are included. Still a little challenging

Park is nice and really cute, good location if you need to grab lunch and/or do grocery shopping after a nice day at the park. Its right by a train track so plan accordingly in you have skiddish pets or kiddos.

My hang out 50 years ago. Not the same, but it is really nice to have a neighborhood park.
