It’s one of the community fishing pond where AGFC stocks trout & catfish in winter, summer respectively. The park is beautiful with trails, play area for kids. People come here for just about anything from fishing, walking the dogs, bring the kids to play, for photography sessions. Only small drawback is the neighborhood has to be watched as few years ago a person was killed here. But putting that aside I see lots of people families come here any enjoy their day.
Surprising great time. The city has worked hard to bring this place back. Had not been in years... was not a great place to visit. Now it has nice pavilions, playgrounds, basketball courts. And miles of beautiful waking trails. Good job Little Rock. Day we were there everything was being used. Happy families taking break from Covid restrictions to enjoy socially distanced fun outside.
This is such a nice walk in the woods. There are pavilions, playgrounds, and plenty of walking/biking space. There is a small mountain biking trail at the end of the road Boyle Park is a quiet spot near UALR and worth a walk!
Has trails, a jungle gym playground. You have to travel the whole park to the other side in order to find the basketball court and playground. You can also fish...will ive seen people fishing.Has picnic & pavilion areas.Mixed crowds of people.
A calming place just to relax while social distancing. As a fisherman I frequent this park, and its Great for catfishing. They stock the water multiple times in both the summer and winter. Playground right next to the fishing area in case you have the kids. Parts of the Park are under construction, but definitely looks like future upgrades.
Quite Kid friendly well lite basketball court and easy available.
Its a beautiful tucked away Park in the middle of Little Rock. I did not know the place was there till the other day and I enjoyed the visit
Beautiful with the leaves falling to the ground. Several picnic tables and Pavillion.
Love and so does my kids.
Its very beautiful, peaceful, full of such natural walking trails.
Everyone knows its always a nice place and a great getaway for just some quiet time
The park is really clean! If you are looking for a park that is pretty lonely, this is not the one for you! There is always people here but thats fine. The park is so big its almost like your the only one there. There are several pavilions and grills. You can fish here and walk trails. The playgrounds (there are about 2 scattered around) are amazing!! Ive been here as a kid and still fascinated by how cool the playgrounds are.
Lots of places to walk in nature, its family and pet friendly and big enough to promote social distancing.
Nice park, you can do a lot of different stuff there
Great for you to have your family members who have been through the holidays or something like that in their life fun spot to kick it
HEAVY on the ghetto side. NOT for night time hang outs unless, gang and violence is your thing. Big looped pathways great for walking, biking, etc. Big fields and random pathways through woodsy areas. COVERED in trash when its not filled out with the wild greenery from spring and summer. Strangely, ghetto or ignorant people swim and/or fish in the creek and waterway. I’m 98% sure it’s heavily polluted water. This park is smack dab in the middle of a poor area of the nicer side of town some would say. It’s a cut through to main roads so there’s cars regularly driving by the outer pathways along the road.
Massive park so has a secluded feel even when plenty of people are around. Nice escape from the sounds of the city. Good for bird watchers.
Great place to hike and just enjoy nature
Boyle park was very sketchy. I brought my 9 year old to ride her bike and people were yelling and turning over trash cans. By the small waterfall there was some sort of physical transaction going on until we rode up. We were done and immediately left.
Nice park to take kids to play
Wonderful park. It has plenty of room for kids and many different familys to have their own space without bothering us. It also has a very peaceful trail, a great way to excape nd get a piece of mind
Nice park with lots of trails for exploring. Not very crowded and secluded so a nice place to escape.
Quiet park with lots to interest everyone! Nice, flat trails with two playground area, basketball courts, and pavilions; saw some people fishing, too.
Great place for kids and adults
I did not catch any fish but I meet two new friends.
Nice fishing pond, and relaxing walking trail. Also has pavilion and a nice little playground for children. Also have a nice open area for flying kites, playing football or kick ball etc...
It is a good place to calm down after a long time at work. It has many places for occasions. It has places for kids and I guess it has restrooms too. Beautiful park!
Great place to go and enjoy the day. I love outdoors!
I use the trails to walk from W 12th St or Kanis Rd to W 36th St by Colonel Glenn Rd.Okay, the first picture is not part of the park. That day, I crossed Rock Creek on John Barrow Rd. I took a picture looking west. W 28 St was closed since it was under water. Some of the older walking bridges were crossable still. You likely guessed that I took pictures of Rock Creek in the park too.I read many other reviews first. I grew up in Little Rock. It is a little walk to the park. I do not drive. On certain days with constant rain, the park is closed. Boyle Park does need missing trail sections. If you do not like the facilities, consider one thing. The trail, pavilions, and play areas exist on both sides of the creek. Try the other side next time. You might miss where you never went.
Pretty big park. A little trashed but thats not all on the park. People need to take their trash. DAY TIME HOURS ONLY.
Park looks great. Me and my daughter really enjoyed ourselves.
The park is so nice and relaxing. Good for kids and adults
I love this park even weekend I walk in this park. The trails are long but nice. There are many trails to choose from. The picnic areas are really nice. My kid loves this park for its great kid area her fav would have to be the zip line and the very high up merry-go-round that spins down to the ground. Theres bridges that crosses water. All in all its a great park even for nice photos.
Great park, nice for walking, family get togethers, and playing for the kids.
Lovely place just not a safe area in general
Very nice place we had a Church function for Theresas Hoover United Methodist Church there and it was great.
It was super nice just a lot of people if your into that sort of thing
I use the park for its walking trails going through the trees . Boyle Park seems so secluded, I think couples use it for privacy .Debries and trash sometimes gather up at the creek crossing - caused by flash floods . . . I wish it were maintenanced more often .Park is not always too crowded but has 2 good sized pavilions that seem to be used for BBQ cookouts quite regularly .
Love outdoors and fishing
Good and peaceful time
The area very peaceful and serene!
Hobo hangout. Pavilions were scary nasty. Has a great kids park on the backside away from the nastiness.
Was not impressed. Although the pavilion was nice. Needs tlc.
Well kept A good place for meditation very quite
Nice walking trail playground equipment was ok but needed some improvements...it was decent
Great spot for picnics, pick up soccer games, playing catch, kite flying, bicycle riding, basketball, volleyball, group outings, reunions, hiking, strolling, cricket (Ive seen it!), fishing, bird watching, etc Peaceful most days, lively on weekends.
This park has a beautiful creek where you can hop on a couple rocks, in one spot, and stand In the middle of the flowing water. Vere serene.
Boyle Park may not be as fancy as some parks here in Little Rock but it continues to be the go to park for alot of family get-togethers! We always have a great time!
Great morning day for a morning stroll. Nice to see families out enjoying themselves.
Nice area.. Kept clean for the most part!
This was a very nice spacious place. We celebrated my mothers 70th birthday here and everything we needed was accommodated within the area. We were in the very back and the kids had a wonderful time at the playground. The area was huge enough for us to put a bouncy house up as well.
Fishing fun and parties
Pleasant park for walking.
It was a very good day for a walk in the park. The people there were fishing and the fish were biting. Me and my girls walked the trails and watched the activities. It was a fun day.
When I go to this park it always have trash on the ground. But a great place to go fishing
It was so beautiful and peaceful. The scenery is wonderful
My backyard for a long time. Its a great place to take a walk and bike. Not a great place for children. The playground equipment is over 13 years old and is run down. Great small pond and stream that you can fish in.
Great place for family and friends!
Kicked it..
Nice clean park with public restrooms and good fishing
Nice place to relax
Love this place
Nice camping place for kids
Nice park
I love this park. Its right in the middle of town, but you dont feel like it. Theres plenty of paved and unpaved walking trails and places to explore. The playground is great too. I bring my daughter here all the time.
Well its really not much to describe, the park isnt really a place that has alot of activity equipment such as for a child enjoyment. They have most of the area BLOCKED off, further to the back they have a basketball court, and uninteresting play sets. They have a fish hole where people fish, which suppose to be one of the attractions. Like I said its nothing really to it but it could use a major upgrade.
Great park for many different activities
Nice
Good park. ...when its not flooded.
I love taking my dog to this park. He can run free. There is baseball game/practice,skate park and basketball courts.
Great for fishing, picnics, bike and scooter riding. Playgrounds, trails, soccer, and basketball.
Would be nice if was kept cleaner
The park has beautiful walking trails. My concerns were the large amounts of trash everywhere and some of the trails are definitely in need of some repairs.
Good for a moment away
Great neighborhood park. Miles and miles of hiking trails. The local mountain bike community has discovered the park and has been putting in a lot of volunteer time improving the trails. Great playground for kids.
Lovely park. Usually not too crowded. Lots of fishing space
Nutn really out there
Its a great place but be careful by the water I fell and broke my foot there. Went to the hospital they said that I sprained it haha .But nice park, nice to go take pictures, have a cook out watch frogs jump in and out of the water see baby fish etc nice wildlife area.
This park has become my weekly therapy session... So relaxing.
Took my boys their to practice baseball and its plenty of grassy areas to practice on
Play ground, shaded walking/bicking paths, and nice lake and bridges overall nice Park.
Thia park has two sides. Nice place to just sit and enjoy nature, read or fish etc.
We love this park my husband and I have been going here for years. From our oldest child and to our youngest and our grandkids. We have all enjoyed every season walking the trails, playing creeks, to feeding the fish. There part of the walking trail that would benefit everyone if fixed. On the worst day it heals my kidney disease in away dr. Cant.
Nice peaceful park in the middle of the city. I ride the mountain bike trail weekly and enjoy it every time.
Not such a big park. Enough for a small community. Beware of Snakes
Favorite quiet spot
A pleasant oasis in midtown LR. Playgrounds, fishing, and trails.
This is a nice park in the city, with trails, fishing and a playground. Trash abounds though, and some of the paved trails are broken. Lots of people smoking weed. Very diverse visitors, plenty of families at the playground by the lake.
Beautiful park fun atmosphere
