A joint project between the state of Arkansas and the Korean government, this beautiful monument does not just honor Arkansans, but all American soldiers and Korean civilians who lost their lives during the Korean War. It is a wonderful piece of art, though it is ironic that it’s located next to Douglas MacArthur’s house considering that was the war that got him booted from the Army. It’s in a convenient location for students of UALR Law to visit, so I recommend stopping here as well as the adjacent house of MacArthur.
