My husband & I we had a great time there we fed the fishthey were all different size big & small. And the turtles they too were different size big, medium, small & very tiny.. It was a fun & great date for us it wasnt too hot outside. The fish was Leaping up out of the water to get the Crackers we were feeding them. And the trules Turtles were looking up fighting to eat too. It was fun there at Heifer Village & Urban Farm.
We had a great time here. We all learnt something new as well. The kids had the best time with the farm animals and the gift shop has some really beautiful things to buy. We had the best weather and ate lunch in the sunshine watching the geese take their daily bath. It was just a really lovely spot and the staff are super friendly.
Really cant say. We just drove by catching Pokemon. Looked nice from the outside.
Great place for weddings and private events. Great staff.
A good organization that has educational displays and animals. They have age targeted scavenger hunts to help engaged the children. They win a pin for completing it. Out back they have a working micro farm and garden complete with animals. The staff is friendly and informative. We asked about a strange machine and a nice gentleman explained it was a worm rocket. He told us all about it, showed us worm casing it had sifted, then he took us to the worm bins and spent half an hour teaching us about them. Now we can start our own worm farm to help improve our soil! The gift shop also had a magnet (what we always try to get as our souvenir) and it was only $.25, though most of the gift shop was too expensive for us. The kids really enjoyed petting the goats and seeing the lamas and pigs.
I just walked around the grounds because it was a Sunday and it was closed. I will definitely come back to investigate more thoroughly.
The experience was amazing and I love to just walk around the building, to see all the wonderful things they have in store.
I enjoyed visiting the animals, but I expected more from the whole experience, I think. Maybe a different time of year than February offers that? Likely, since garden portion wasnt running, obviously. The museum wasnt what I was expecting either. It was fine, but just not what I expected for some reason after growing up with getting a water buffalo or other animal for people through Heifer International.I just expected something different.
A wonderful place that supports a good cause.
Nice place to take school age children. Fun!! And they have bison steaks which my husband has been looking for forever!
The people were very nice and there is a little farm in the back to see the animals which my kids loved. The gift shop has very reasonable prices and fun merchandise. Its nice to know its going to a good cause too.
My family and I found this a great place to visit. I thought it informative and interesting. There is a nice gift shop with handmade items. I believe in their mission.
Great place to learn a bit about a few animals and farming/gardening
Great place to take the grandkids even if they are in college. Heifer International’s corporate headquarters and urban farm is a must visit in the downtown River Market area. Farm animals, garden crops, flowers, gift shop, guided tours, and a cafè make this a nice and educational visit for all ages.
Great place to learn about how this organization is changing the world. Free to visit and they offer a nice gift shop with fair trade items plus a military/ first responder discount on the items for sale at the gift shop. These items range from figurines to organic meats.
A great place to take a youth group, Confirmation class, or for a family educational trip. Interesting and informative with a strong lean toward helping others. Plus great food in their restaurant!
Went there to attend a meeting. Location was earlier difficult to find after getting off from the cab but the guard at the mIn desk pointed us in the right direction. Also had a cafeteria and a craft store. Food options were good and not bad. Shopped a lot at their craft store. Lot of good options to choose from.
Nice gift store. People are friendly and very educational info

Beautiful and serving such a great purpose.
What!!! Google, you should provide a 20 star rating!!! I love that this group wants to reduce poverty and illiteracy!!! Their Urban Farm is a great way to utlize space in a way that doesnt sacrifice farming and ranching space. I love that they are working to save the environment as well! Their museum tells us about the hardships some people face, and how Heifer and us can solve them!!!
Amazing what they do here.

The pond with fish, and turtles were my favorite spot
Great atmosphere and educational benefits
Fun place! friendly!
Granddaughter loved all the scenes
The cutest place ever!!
Weve been here several times with the kids on field trips. Always have a fun time. Great place to learn how to help hunger and poverty.
Outstanding! What? No 10 star rating available? The location, the mission, the building, the staff, the restaurant, the gift shop, and the animals...if you are anywhere near Little Rock, make this a must on your to-do list. It is near the Clinton Library, so you can make it a double-header.
Take the tour of the headquarters building to see amazing pieces that have been awarded or donated to Heifer for the work they do. The vistors center is a great way to spend some time or just get into the gift shop.
My daughter loves to go visit all the animals at the barn and I love the fresh veggies. The exhitbit hall is great too.

Interesting and educational! Unique gift shop! Fun for children!
A must visit for everyone!
Kinda stumbled into this place one day while walking around. Very friendly and knowledgeable people there. Theyre doing some good work
The food at the cafe was really delicious. We had the Chicken Alfredo, the Howdy, Chicken Quesadilla and chips, everything was so good! We called and ordered ahead and it was ready when they said it would be, 20 mins. The cafe itself was in the center, so only complaint was parking is far away from the entrance. But it was worth it.
Environmental friendly structure with great interactive musem for children and adults. I highly recommend to attend their urban festival, a night to donate and enjoy endless music, food and alcoholic beverages.
