Unfortunately their are no child rates anymore, my child was charged as a adult. Walked into the theatre early because the sign said now seating for the movie I paid to watch, employees were still cleaning and was asked was I supposed to be in theatre 10 to which I replied yes however I can leave if you need to clean more. They replied no we could stay since our seats were cleaned but the staff continued to make snarky remarks about the timing. Menu is very limited and I ordered the trio of chips and dip my cheese was chunky and I could call anyone to complain because the buttons don’t work. Understanding it’s the Covid age, this is a way too expensive outing for mediocrity. I’m sorry it was just not a good experience. However I appreciate the Covid precautions taken.

Food was good and served on time. Nice clean facility. Would have given 5 stars if we hadnt had to wait in line when we arrived. We ordered our tickets and food online so e shouldnt have to wait in the same line as the people that didnt.

Movie Tavern is doing an excellent job to keep customers safe during the pandemic. We felt very comfortable watching a movie. Our food was delicious!!

I absolutely love this theater! I’m from Los Angeles and used to a high caliber of movie going experience and this exceeded any theater I’ve been too. During Covid they make it so no one can sit on either side or directly in front or behind you by not selling those tickets. They also tape off every seat so you know it was cleaned before you got there. Each seat is so comfortable, reclines, has a table and drink holder. The in seat food/ drink service was awesome and so easy. I seriously can’t say enough good things!! Nachos were also the best!

So heres the thing. People get REALLY mad and complain about the price of the food. Yes it is pricey. But youre paying for the convenience of not having to eat somewhere else and then go to a movie. Also, you dont HAVE to eat a meal. You can just not eat or drink anything. Or get cokes and popcorn for about the same price as a regular movie place. And have it brought to you as opposed to waiting in line (which come on that alone is worth it). Get there about 30 minutes before it starts. The food is good. Its on par with casual dining like Red Robin. The fried pickles are actually some of the best Ive had. We typically only go there when we want to make a day of it and we plan on spending $.

Probably the best place to catch a movie in Little Rock. Lounge style seats, full restaurant menu and drinks. Good local beer on tap. Fast service. Really glad to see theyre surviving COVID, theyve been doing a great job cleaning and I felt comfortable watching Tenet this last weekend. Highly recommend!

I understand the Covid bs but they need to make some sort of way to keep groups together I mean honestly if you separate a group that’s more of a possible spread if someone is a carrier of this COVID. My husband got separated from my brother and I. I’ll also add someone was just one seat over from me..good job tavern that’s really good distancing!! Won’t be back until this thing opens all the way back up.

I give this spot two thumbs up. There was quick, helpful, and friendly service. This place has a good design. Menu is similar to a restaurant in Jacksonville I liked.

Big cushioned seating. Burger was a little greasy but chunky fries were excellent. Son didnt like nachos. Kept up with disinfectant and servers were great.

Pandemic Movie Visit. Its my first trip to a theater in 2020. Things have changed. I like what they have done with seating, blocking off several in each row. Very staggered and spaced.They have also mapped out on the floor the planned travel path.They have modified how you order food. Its no longer face to face in the theater. You can order at the bar and tell them what theater and seat you are in and they will deliver. Or, you can download and order from the Marcus Theater app.I tried the app once I sat down but it kept failing to order, so I did have to leave the screen to place my order (missed some of the movie)A pretty good experience, all things considered

Couldn’t ask for a better theatre, but I could ask for cheaper food! I love their seating and the in-chair service, Tuesdays you can see a movie for $5 with free popcorn if you join their online club. Great location with lots of (cheaper) places to eat right outside the door.They do stay involved with the community lots of events and old movies re-shown as well.

They are courteous and attentive. I love going to see a good cheap movie.

Wow wow wow this theater is wonderful, 100% recommended, new, clean, nice people, elegant and you can order food in the comfort of your seat you dont need to go for the food they put your food on your table at the same seat and enjoy the food and the movie, so was fantastic, amazing place I love it the prices: adults $12. 81 and kids $7. 58 you can buy ticket online or in the theater... Absolutely love this new theater! Recliners and little tables with an in movie menu and food and drink service. They have spacious seating so we didnt feel crowded at all and the young lady who was in the theater serving was amazing. The food service was never distracting from the movie and being able to have drinks delivered without having to miss a moment was a really good idea. I will go back whenever we do a movie night.

So the theater is super nice, great quality movies and seats super comfy so if youre o ly going for that aspect 5 stars however if you are going for popcorn or food dont the popcorn is pretty bad in comparison to your average movies usually doesnt taste fresh and youre lucky if it comes buttered the food is priced like youd expect for what you order just usually the quality youd both want or expect for the price I would happily upgrade this to a 4 star id they made there popcorn alot better and 5 star if they made there food more flavorful or better quality

I had a wonderful time there. The service was quick, polite, and efficient. The food was surprisingly good. I got the buffalo chicken wrap with ranch dressing. It was better than KFCS blazin buffalo twister wrap they had years ago. The fries were great. All seating reclined. The trey and drink holder we perfectly sized.

My wife and I love this place. The food is really good and the seating is exceptionally comfortable. We can eat a good meal and watch a movie all in one place for less than going out to eat and then the movies. If you haven’t tried it you must. You will not be disappointed.

First off the atmosphere here is great. The bar is very cozy with lounge chairs and couches. The theater/restaurant is awesome. Order food from the great menu and sit back and watch your movie. Food was delicious and on time. And lots of alcohol to choose from.

The theater was neat and clean and we where at the last showing for the night (11pm). Food and drink service was print and very friendly/helpful. I have back issues and cannot sit upright for too long and the recliners were comfortable and didnt make my back hurt due to being able to change positions frequently. There was plenty of room in between seats, so that you you dont feel like youre right on top of and rubbing elbows with strangers, yet; my husband and I were able to hold hands and be close to each other.Overall, a great experience! Will be going again!

Tickets are decently priced but the food is where they get ya. Its totally worth it though! Everything Ive had from the menu has been delicious and their drinks are mixed by some of the best! My only concern is that it is somewhat difficult to eat nachos in the dark

I went on a Tuesday when prices were cheaper. I got there later than I should have before movie started. I ordered food which was pricey right before movie started. It took about 30 minutes to get it and I couldnt hear the waiter as the movie sound was loud. Food was good. Very large comfortable reclining chairs. So go early if you plan to eat a meal.

The seats are nice but I wouldnt say they are any better than the Malco theater. The food is terrible. Dont order the nachos with chicken. My dogs food has better quality chicken than what they put on them. Not an exaggeration. I have eaten here several times and the only thing I can recommend are the fries or the mozzarella sticks. Its a good place to see a movie so that is why I am giving it three stars. If I was rating the food here I would give it 1 star.

The idea of movie tavern is a great one. Very nice attraction for a small town. But with a small town comes small minds. Me and a date of mine were treated very poorly from the start. The register was on the phone with a difficult customer. He did not even look or acknowledge us as we stood patiently waiting. His manager appeared to assist him. His manager also ignored us and did not reassure us that the problem was being handled. Instead he passed us in line and went behind us only to ask a different couple if they had movie tickets as if we werent first in line. I had to speak loudly to him to get his attention. He looked embarrassed and the couple behind us even laughed at him. That is when he decided to correct himself reassure us the problem was being handled and then we got our tickets. I paid with a 100 dollar bill. Bought food and drinks and even left a tip. In the hopes that this small town attraction will remember there is an entire world out here and they should be apart of it. Its good for business.

Food is sub par, but theaters are nice, comfy, and clean

The pros: the theatre is clean, has nice recliners, and the screen and sound are excellent. The cons: the tickets are more expensive than a normal theatre and the food service is difficult to work with. The order wasnt right so I pushed my button and waited for over 25min before I gave up and went to find a waiter myself. Even then it took several minutes of convincing and I wasnt treated very politely. Meanwhile Ive missed most of the first 30min of the movie trying to get good service. So I wont spend $70 on two adult tickets and two hamburgers again. Not worth it.

To be able to sit, eat, and watch a movie is a very cool concept, but the food is not what you would expect with the prices you pay for it. The cauliflower dish was tasty, but the portion wasnt worth the price. Its better than just popcorn though. So movie yes, food okay. I would still eat before or after if you really want a meal you can truly enjoy.

This place is bad. It was very dirty through out the entire theater. The restroom are nasty. The movie theater I was in you could hear the staff laugh and talking in the kitchen. The food is nasty as well. Dont waste your money. The theater sound and audio was fine.

The seats were great and the food was good. I had a turkey bacon wrap and it was huge. Had to bring half home. It is not as good as restaurant food but better than theater food.

What the heck? 5 star hands down. This place is so amazing. They have anything you need to eat or drink. I’m having a blue moon the wife is having a mimosa. Great place to get brunch. Customer service is awesome friendly employees and everyone is super nice. All the latest movies and some of the popular old stuff! Food and drinks come very fast. Restrooms are very clean and the place is very clean. Very convenient location out here at the outlet malls. Safe and convenient parking. We really Love this place and will be back!!!

Comfortable seats, ok food. Very friendly service.We greeted at the door and immediately give directions and complementary popcorn and water. All the staff were friendly and accommodating!Food tasted good; not the best wings or pizza wed ever had but it was good. The fries were amazing, but the portion was so SMALL! For a $5 basket of fries that was supposed to serve me through a movie, the portion was disappointing. The wings were tough, as though theyd been cooked far ahead of time and kept warm till order. They were supposed to be served with celery and carrots, but I had to send the waiter back to get them because they were forgotten.Will go again, but plan eat dinner ahead of time and just order popcorn/dessert at the theater.

The bar area is awesome and the bartender was very personable. The games and fireplace make it cozy. Movie Tavern was very flexible with letting us change our tickets to a day earier; however, the tray tables inside the theater hadnt been wiped down when we entered. We cleaned them ourselves with baby wipes. And some people in our group didnt get their food or drinks until the movie was almost over after we had repeatedly asked about it. I left a little disappointed in the service, but it has potential to someday get 5 stars!

I have made Movie Tavern my go to theatre for new releases. The reserved seating and super comfortable power recliners always make for a nice viewing experience. The food and drinks are pricey but what place isn’t these days? They have a rewards program with app that can be used as a stand-alone or linked to your fandango account. They don’t charge you a convenience fee for your ticket purchases if you’re enrolled in their rewards program so I highly recommend signing up for the app.

First time going. This is my place for a great movie. The Food, the service, the drinks, the reclining leather chairs. ALL THE BEST. All you have to worry about is going the bathroom. And I drove 2 hours to see what this place is about. Well time spent.

I would rate this theater high but due to pricing and heavy traffic I cant. The food is good but over priced on select food items. There was a lot traffic by people servers and key point dont bring children to a higher rated film above PG-13. The idea of a movie and sinner is good idea but poorly executed. The entry theme Into the movie lounge was enjoyable. If you go make sure It is during the week day due to Little Rock traffic and several local places by the theater is high traffic attractions. One big issue that needs to be fixed is managing age groups in the movie showings so children stay with children films and adults can enjoy their time with watching the film.

We went to a matinee so there weren’t many people in the movie with us. But we had a great experience. The waitress during the movie was very attentive and considerate of the fact that we were watching a movie. She got our refills with minimal interruption. We will definitely be back!

I have got to rate them highly though the food was not as good as my only other visit. I love the idea of a real meal with a movie. The reclining chairs are comfortable. I look forward to my next visit.

The experience is worth the price. My children enjoyed being waited on from their seat. The isles and seating were so roomy.

I would give the place 5 stars because the seats are super comfortable and not having to get up for refills is awesome...but the menu isnt great, is very small-portioned, and over-priced. It can also take the servers a long time to answer when you call. But the option to pre-order popcorn and drinks that are brought to your seat, the cinematic quality, and the overall convenience and comfort will ALWAYS keep me coming back.

Reclining seats. Food and drink served at your seat, but only if you request. Theres no pressure, and the servers are unobtrusive during the film. We love $5 Tuesdays and senior discounts on Fridays.

Great recliners, good food, family atmosphere. The electric reclining seats are great distraction for the kids. They are very comfortable for the adults as well. The made to order full meals are great. Just push the button and the server shows up to serve!!!

Ticket prices are normal. Concessions are absurdly not worth it. If you just want a movie this is a nice place to see one. If you want popcorn with your movie, go anywhere else.

Staff was all friendly. Chairs were ridiculously comfortable. Movie admission price is very reasonable. Food was tasty, with plenty of options to suit all tastes. All of the above were worthy of five stars.The disappointing part of the experience is how long it took to serve the food and how wrong the order was. Only a couple substitutions were made on the order and none were prepared properly. One plate came out at a time, every fifteen minutes so we all ate separately. Our bill was over $100, before tax and tip. The staff was all friendly, they just weren’t attentive. When we asked why the service was so poor we were told that four movies started at the same time (right around 7:00pm).

Staff has always been friendly for a the few times that I have gone here. Food has always been good with quite a wide variety. Also great alcohol selections from beer to cocktails for whatever you want. Seats and theater is clean and the seats are quite comfortable to sit in for long time period. Definitely recommend this place for a date night, it is semi pricey depending on what you get. Either eat and drink before you go watch a movie or enjoy great service and great food a little extra.

My first time visiting Movie Tavern was last night. We had ordered tickets for the wrong night by mistake and management was exceedingly kind and replaced our tickets for a show that evening. The reserved seating, comfy recliners and the ability to order without leaving your seat are all great features of this theatre. I was slightly disappointed in the food, however. I ordered the Tavern Platter and the cheese sticks were cold. Food is just average for the price you pay.

Food prices are a little high and alcohol is outrageously high, but its nice to be able to eat and watch a movie at the same time. The waiters can be distracting, since they walk in front of you, have to talk to take an order, and their ordering device has a lit screen like a cell phone. But overall, it was a good experience. A good special occasion treat.

I had the great privilege of bringing my grandson here for his first theater experience. We saw Toy Story and had a blast! The seats were amazing and we were able to order drinks and snacks without getting up and missing any of the film. I’ll cherish this trip as long as I live to be sure!

I went with some friends to an afternoon movie here. The theater was NOT clean when we came in. There was popcorn all over the floor and in the seats we had reserved, the trays were sticky, and there was even candy wedged between the seat and arm rest. We sat down and waited for our waitress to come, but another staff member came around to everyone’s seat complaining about how our server was always late (but doing nothing about it other than turning off the service lights). She continued complaining loudly to EVERYONE in the theater. When our server finally did come, we asked her for a rag to wipe down the trays and placed our orders. The food did come quickly, but they never wiped down the trays, and the condiments we asked for (multiple times) never came as well. The man sitting next to us didn’t even get his food until the credits were rolling on the movie. All of the staff we saw were complaining and didn’t seem to care much about their jobs. When the movie ended, our tickets didn’t come until about ten minutes later, and the house lights never came up to let us see to fill them out.

Excellent food, great service, and extremely comfortable seats! This is a great place for a date, a family with children, or a group of friends. I highly recommend!

Update: 05.02.18The last couple of times definitely hasnt been as good as the first, but it was minor things, like our attendant taking a while to attend to us. Also, today they didnt have the BBQ pizza I was looking forward to having again. Last time I was there I tried it and it was good. Looks like they got the over-salted popcorn under control lol. Not long after that we went into the theater. Awesome plush recliner seats! We sat down and our attendant (Grace) came over. She was great! Very attentive, checked on us periodically, and responded swiftly to the [blue] botton. They have a FULL menu. This is not your conventional movie theater. You have the full service as you would in a dine-in restaurant. I ordered the queso chips & dip. I think most people would really like it as did the other person in our group that ordered it. I was thinking more of the white queso, but its not. It also had diced mild-spices in it. I like my cheese-dip more fully blended and smooth, but thats just my preference, and it wasnt bad. The popcorn was so light and fresh tasting (might want to tell them to go easy on the salt though lol). After eating our entrees we couldnt even eat half the large bucket of popcorn. It was too much. I do see what someone was mentioning about the lights not fully being off. In certain parts of the movie when the scenes were darker you might notice them in the beginning, but other than that you dont. There is a need for a little light though. Youll understand if you order an entree and also for the attendants to navigate around. Enjoyed the movie and overall experience! I will be returning and will try the BBQ Pizza next time! -02.21.18

The service was horrific. The food was ok once they brought us everything we ordered. The portion sizes were very small for the prices though. The only good thing about our experience was the comfy seats.

Great atmosphere for family movie day or night. Stick to the basics of food. Has a full bar, specials, which are reasonable. The food prices are reasonable, and you can get a casual restaurant meal for just a bit more than a casual restaurant. Recommend hamburgers, fries, and salads but probably not tacos, rice bowl. Big, comfy recliners, service seat side, so no long lines. Cleaned well after each movie.

Cool concept and great atmosphere. I went once and thats all I really needed to ger the feel for it. Theatres are on par with everyone else even down to comfy chairs that recline. Honestly the amount of money you will spend is just absurd to have food while you watch a movie.

First time stopping in. Immediayly when you walk in theres the bar/living room area. Sit, drink, watch tv, play games. Or Order from your movie seat. Server comes to you. Variety of food. Drinks from a full bar.

Seating and theater quality/sound was very good. I feel the restaurant could have been a little better, but I would definately choose this theater over others in the area. If you dont want to order food, you do not have to, and you still get great seating. I rate it high because you also have the option to buy food at a reasonable price, regardless of taste/quality.

I can always appreciate an experience with a courteous staff. They were friendly in the hallway, they were friendly while taking our order and the first employee explained how the experience worked since this was our first time. Pricey food but the food was good.

It was okay. Nice theater, great idea. Essentially a restaurant in a theater. Servers come to you to take your order while youre in you seat. But very distracting while trying to watch the movie. Servers do their best to stay out of your way while the movie is playing, but some patrons dont know what volume control is while the movie is playing. In between all the kids playing with their electronic recliner seats so that they can hear the whirr of the motor and the fart of the fake leather oh, it was hard to stay focused.

Business wise the concept is very innovative, however I ordered nachos and once it finally arrived the meat was cold and the chips were a little stale. Also the sound system needs to be overhauled by someone who that knows how to use an EQ. Other than that it’s a bit pricey but I will give it another try in the near future.

Amazing experience especially for someone who would rather watch a movie at home. The seats are super comfortable and the leg space is so nice. Plus you get you food brought to you...who wouldnt love that?!?

The experience was wonderful! You purchase your tickets and go to your seats. A waitress (or waiter) brings menus and you can order appetizer, whole meals, drinks, popcorn, candy, and more. You have a tray attached to your recliner where they bring your order to you. The bill is brought to you towards the end of the movie. Fabulous!! Staff and service were amazing!

In love with this place, cant beat the reclining leather recliners for comfort while you enjoy your movie, not to mention the servers that wait on you so you dont have to miss any of the movie. Also if you go online you get 5.00 movies with free popcorn on Tuesdays, that is a great deal.

The new theater is nice but pricey! Thats not the problem because all charge too much for the cheapest foods. My problem is that this is the only theater in Little Rock, Benton and North Little Rock that charges for a 2 year old that sat in my wifes lap. I live in town and will waste has driving to Benton to their theater.

We visited on a Tuesday afternoon, when they have discount pricing and, at least for now, free popcorn. There is food and beverage service in theater. The foods a little pricey, but good. As do most of the newer theaters, they have recliner seating. The staff was very friendly and it was a pleasant experience. This will probably be our regular theater from now on.

This is an AWESOME place and successful social experiment. My only complaint is that it is located so far away from where I live that the total drive is almost as long as the movies.... Yikes! It’s an awesome concept. Dinner AND a show?! All at the same place? It’s almost too good to be true!Aaaannnnd that’s because it is. Service is ROUGH. Waited twenty minutes for a beer, and then another 45 for food that wasn’t all it was chocked up to be. Might be a good place to just catch a movie and have your popcorn brought to you, but the credits will be rolling by the time you get it. Womp womp.

The seats are comfortable. I like the hydration stations. What i dont like is the wait staff. Every time i order food it takes forever and then its cold. They always forget the cutlery or napkins, so i have to call them back. And when they drop stuff off they stand right in front of you.

Everything is on point. A great theater experience. Bar inside with a few games (not arcade). Games like lifesize chess or Jumbo Jenga. The restrooms are pretty nice and clean if you need to stop there. The reclining seats at the top of the theater were stoopid cool and made the movie more enjoyable. I cannot tell you how happy I was to see that this theater is a part of the Marcus movie theater chain. We just moved from Nebraska in loved our Marcus movie theater. The only negative to the one in Nebraska was they did not stop people from making noise or talking on her phone. I did not notice anyone talking at the movie tavern. You cant beat $5 Tuesdays with free popcorn if you remember. Having this theater in Arkansas made me so much happier about moving back here! I just wish there was one in Hot Springs where I live.
