The new owners have let this place go. The “tasting room” (I use this term lightly because they don’t actually have much to taste) looks like it is run by 15 year old boys. Most of the property is overgrown. It appears they have let the vines die. Their wine menu had 4 Westbend wines that were all old. The rest were brought in. The beer menu had 4 (but one had kicked) beers that were theirs, the rest were outside craft beer. The immediate property around the tasting room is nice, but yard and a place for live music. Could be a great place to hang out. I understand if they don’t want to make their own stuff, but they need a major rebranding, a shift in focus, and to start caring about their business. It’s really sad to see this happen to what was once a great place to hang out.

We had a fantastic time at Westbend! We enjoyed great craft brews, wonderful sitting areas, great food, and the staff is very hospitable and welcoming. We will be frequenting Westbend I am sure. If you are touring NC wine country you must stop by Westbend!

My husband and I had an amazing time at West Bend. They had a great selection of wines and beer for us to choose from. Their staff was also amazing. They were all super helpful and friendly. Definitely will be back!

My mother and I decided to give this place a shot. We regularly come to the Yadkin Valley to visit wineries both new and old. When we arrived at Westbend they were busy which is a good thing. When we went into the tasting room we weren’t greeted. The counter area was nasty with old cups and soiled wine/beer menus all over the counter. When we were finally approached we asked about some wines being from other places and the answer we got was “yep”. Then we asked about tastings. To that we were told they weren’t doing tastings and the guy walked away. It doesn’t specify on their website they aren’t doing tastings. After the rude service we left and don’t plan to return. Obviously, some people love this place, but if you’ve never been here, beware. We’ve been to over 20 wineries in the area and have never been treated like this. I hope they can provide better service in the future.

If I could give more stars I would! Really enjoyed their craft beers, and their beautiful sitting area, along with their friendly staff. Blake and Farley were super helpful and kind. I 100% recommend stopping by WestBend if you’re in the area.

Is it a winery? The vines appear dead and overrun with weeds. They only serve a couple of their old wines, most of what they serve are from other wineries.Is it a brewery? Check out what others think of their beers on untapped! They mostly serve other breweries beers though.

Enjoyed an afternoon of friendship and music. Anytime James Vincent Carroll performs is a good time.Enjoyed a few adult beverages and food from the foodtruck.

If I could give more stars, I would! Amazing place with wonderful owners and staff. Terrific beers and great spot to hang out and listen to live music. We stayed overnight in our camper as part of the Harvest Hosts program, and we will be back!

Great beer brewed in house and an awesome wine selection. They have music every weekend. Their staff is absolutely terrific! Farley and Blake are literally the kindest and most helpful bar-staff I can think of. Would 100% recommend stopping by!

More of a sports bar then a vineyard. Barely pretending to serve their own wines and poor taste in the ones they have chosen. Standard beers on tap. We were ignored and not served for wearing masks during the COVID pandemic. We were the only ones to take doing so seriously. Beware.

We ordered a case of wine on August 8, 2019 and never received it. After making multiple calls and sending multiple emails - management has stopped communicating and will not issue a refund. General Manager Farley has given multiple excuses like: he doesnt answer his phone if he doesnt know the number, he is super busy, too many vendors and artist call him.. and these are the reason he cant be bothered to return a call. We have left message with the tasting room for the owners that have not be returned. They have now stated they no longer ship wine, and would refund our order. That was months ago and still no refund. Ultimately, we have been scammed. Since they kept stringing us along, the purchase is now outside of the window to be disputed with our credit card company and we will never see the money again nor receive the product. Buyer Beware!!!

We went there today as it was a beautiful day to be outside! We ordered a bottle of Cabernet. They gave us Castle Rock! For $21.00+! My husband asked for one of their bottles. All they had was Merlot and we heard they don’t have a wine maker. Their grape vines look like they are dying. So sad for a place that in the past has been vibrant!

I’ve been to WestBend many times and I’ve never had a bad experience. The food is amazing, You may have to wait a bit but it’s worth the wait for sure! I highly recommend the food, wine and service especially during these times with Covid19.

Space is beautiful. Great patio next to the vibes which are some of the oldest in NC. Wine is too far on the sweet end for me personally and beers are also missing something. They allow carry in food so nice place to chill. Theres a stage with live music on weekends. Service is sketchy so be patient. The tasting room is great for groups and is cellar temperature so bring a jacket!

Really great winery. Wines are good, beer is GREAT. There is a Porter and Octoberfest that should be tried if available. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Live music was there at noon on Saturday which was nice. Friendly staff, incredibly clean and lots of parking. Fun for an afternoon it even if you are just passing through

I had a pretty good time up until the bill came and I saw that I had been mischarghed almost 100% more than expected. I got it worked out with the responsible men behind the counter after she left.... but lets be honest, this 4 star rating will be changed to a 5 if Dana admits to her mistake.

This is one of my favorite places to visit. The beer and wine selection are amazing along with the atmosphere. This is a must see if you’re looking for an all around great place to let your hair down and enjoy some adult beverages.

Went to the Oyster Roast this weekend. Glad this place opened back up with new owners. Lots of renovations. Great wine and beer selection. I loved the blood orange beer. There was live music and food, great ambience. Will definitely be back.

Always a fun place to hang out. We take our baby and our dog and chill. Good beer and good wine. No complaints.

Westbend Winery and Brewery is a fun place with a good selection of wines and beer and live music on the weekends.

The wine is okay, but not exactly my preferred taste. The service is pretty slow and when they’re busy it’ll take a good 40 minutes to get a wine tasting and 10 minutes to get a glass of wine. I ordered a salad that I waited over an hour for because they forgot to put the order in. A friend that was with us also ordered food and waited 45 minutes. They need to have a better system in place for their food orders or stick to the food trucks.

Nice tasting building and setting definitely more commercialized than most in the area. However, a very nice stop if you have non-wine drinkers in your group as they also brew beer. Decent wines, their Cabernet franc is very tasty and one of the better ones in the area.

With a selection of wine, cider or beer, theres something for everyone. Beautiful tasting room and facility, live music most weekends and now the new restaurant. They are always thinking of new interesting and fun events so its not a one trip destination.

Had Lunch and Cider Wine at the Grand Opening for the Grille today. Had the Muffelleta with Baked Potato Soup. They were both delicious, served at great temperatures and were of generous portions. Presentation of the dining area and table settings were elegant yet cozy.The staff is still working out some bugs, but they were very apologetic and kind about any delays. Looking forward to returning for lunch and trying the dinner menu.

Not the Westbend I knew. While their current wine offerings arent bad, theyre not what I would call great either.Their vines are still young, so that is probably what is holding them back. They also recently lost their winemaker, so maybe this new winemaker will have a better offering in a few years.

We visited on a Thursday afternoon. Enjoyed our inside tasting experience, but someone needs to pay as much attention to the outside appearance -- and keep it neat and welcoming -- as they do to the inside. Dont understand the reason for the mess. With all the other choices around, we probably wont go back.

We had a great time playing Trivia with Jonathan on Friday. They are dog friendly and the staff is helpful and courteous.

Winery and Brewery. You can do a wine tasting or a flight of their drafts. Staff is very knowledgeable about all their offerings. Fun for an intimate outing or a social gathering of friends. They usually have a food tent or truck out on weekends, but you can also BYO. Pet friendly.

Driving past the vines to the tasting room was nice - maintained well vineyard. The wine tasting room area is setup for inside and outside enjoyment. The food trailer was a gem with beer and wine paired food menu as well as a wine cheese tray for sale. They seem more focused on beer than wine by the layout and signage, but the wines were good. The beer was also. Loads of trinkets to look at in the gift area. We had Chambourcin and an IPA, Bison burger and chicken sandwich. All was excellent cooked and tasted great.

Great history and one of the pioneers with Nc wine. New owners. Check out the horse sculpture by the owner for his wife. Staff was bubbly. Wines were good.

They have wines for different tastes, good homebrew beers, and raspberry cider that is moderately sweet. Theyre having food trucks and free music on weekends. Definitely worth a visit! However, sometimes the music is too loud and interferes with conversation.Their tasting room needs more inside seating and is very noisy. They really need acoustic ceiling tiles.The older, historical building on the west side of Williams road is now a restaurant - the Grapevine Grille. Beautiful old wood building with a nice, calm atmosphere and nice view of vines.
