I can’t verify how good the lake is for water sports, but I can tell you there are some gorgeous views when biking!

Depends on what kind of experience you want. But we love seeing the birds, including pelicans.And a kid friendly kayaking area

No parking, only a foot or two deep. You wouldnt want to bathe in it. Stop over point for many birds; swans, geese, ducks, and pelicans.

Had fun ice skating today with the dog. His first time on ice.

Interesting place. Bird watching opportunity, quite a variety of ducks in winter. Fishing is so-so Id take my chances on the river.

Kind of stinky, but very pretty. Could not get a single fish to bite, but we saw a bunch of them.

Came here as a family. The loop is long but divided into two with a city road that cuts through it. The one side is a complete loop, the other is a loop that takes you through part of a suburban neighborhood. Seems strange but the trail comes back and is pretty easy to follow. There were a lot of birds. One of us is a birder and he had a great time. Kids and nearby adults will scare them off. Also theres parts of the trail that have a pungent sewer-like smell. The trail isnt well shaded, nor are there any benches at all.

Very Dirty. Outsiders throwing trash every where and in the water.. This was very clean years ago.
