Probably the only one place where you feel FREE during the COVID. No people walking after you with the cleaning wipes, nobody is trucking every step you make to see how well you maintain the social distancing. Small children dont have to wear a masks and everyone was fine and happy.Wonderful big museum, good for all ages. My 2 y.o. and 3 y.o. girls loved it.Thank you

One of our favorite places to have fun. The music room is always exciting, and we rarely are able to even get to all areas before its time to leave. Everything is interactive and hands on. The park behind the museum is outstanding as well with playgrounds, sandboxes, a pond with a glass wall and a food dispenser for fish.

We took our 1 and a half year old son and he loved all of the different rooms and things they have to interact with however the staff was extremely intense about mask compliance. They spoke with rude tones and seemed excited at the chance for confrontation. If you lower your mask to smile at your child or speak to them they will threaten to kick you out. I love the idea of the place but wouldn’t go again until COVID is over. It’s completely insane that they allow everyone in there to touch and play with everything but will not allow you to drop your mask bellow your nose.

Great for older kids! We took our 12 month old and he was really only able to interact with one 25 foot by 15 foot area with ball pit balls and mirrors. He had a blast in the one exhibit, but was bored fairly quickly. Again, would be great for older kids but not littles.

Theyve done a phenomenal job of making the exhibits safe in the time of covid. The temple climber is closed, but I was shocked at how little my kid noticed or cared. There were multiple employees continuously cleaning commonly touched surfaces the entire time we were there. The building was as empty as Ive ever seen it, and on a Saturday too. The wait for the ropes course was non-existent, and as always, everything is maintained to a high standard. The exhibits were so much fun, I dont think my kid realized how much he was learning, but he definitely noticed that he wasnt waiting in line to try the things he always wants to do.Also, wearing our masks indoors in such a fun environment where other kids were too was good preparation for school. Its not weird or scary when everyone else has one on, and the gift shop sells cute kid sizes with tiger prints and other fun designs. They really did an excellent job of making the necessary tasks fun and exciting.

A really fun place for kids! There are four inside areas and an outside area also. The museum has a large variety of hands-on and interactive exhibits. You can easily spend 2+ hours exploring everything. There is a water area that is a lot of fun, but my kids always get there pants and socks wet. Shoes are required but they have boots you can wear in the water area. However my kids always get water in the boots. So it can be nice to wear clothes that can get wet or bring a change of socks and possibly clothes depending on what you are doing after.

Do not go to this place till COVID is over. Such an awful experience. I appreciate that they want to keep everyone safe and have everyone wear masks but you have kids all the over the place touching anything and everything (which is the whole point of the museum) but if your mask slides down even a little bit, their power hungry overly aggressive security guards will come at you instead of politely asking/reminding people to keep their masks on. It’s completely hypocrital. I cannot believe how these security guards talked to people in front of their kids. It was shocking. Will never go back to this place.

This place is fun and it only gets better the older your kids get. Ive been going since my boy was crawling and there are little baby areas where they can play with balls or toys. Now he can interact with things and its way more fun. Theres an outdoor part too that we didnt know about until last time we went. Its really neat! Lots and lots to do.Keep in mind that the playground area isnt really designed for young kids and you have to follow them up there which can be annoying. I avoid that part with my two year old. Hell love it when hes older.

So fun for kids of all ages. Just do yourself a favor and call before you go so you can avoid going at the same time as a field trip. We could have easily been there from start to finish and never gotten bored!Almost all of the areas had a contained play area for kids under 3 with seating for parents around so they could play without being knocked over. The have a little eating area, the food was surprisingly good but they were understaffed for the lunch rush the day we were there so it took a while to get our food.

First of all, its huge. There are 4 different areas to explore and each one is very large with a TON of fun things to do. So much creativity, learning, and exploration. The adults will have fun too! The down sides are that it is usually crowded, it can be hard to keep track of all your little ones if you have a few. If you have a busy toddler who wants to get out of the toddler zones, you must follow them. And it will exhaust everyone. But that could be a good thing if you can go straight home and put the kids to bed early!

We had so much fun here there is a lot to do, I think we were here for three hours and still didnt do EVERYTHING. Dont bring a stroller if your kids are old enough to walk, a baby wrap or carrier would be ideal. A small bag with just what you need is a must, clunking around a big bulky diaper bag while chasing a toddler was kind of tedious. Go to the water works area last or bring an extra set of clothes. They have a family restroom at the entrance or both womens and mens rooms which is awesome but there wasnt a place to sit a toddler down if you had to go and are a solo parent. (The family restroom was occupied). Tons to do, lots of neat activities, and staff is very friendly. Oh, I will say that the Thank-a-nogas cave has a tunnel for kids to climb it that has an exit to outside the cave as a first timer i didnt know it had another exit and I didnt see a sign luckily my toddler didnt roam too far away.
