Beautiful place!! About 1 1/2 from Portland ( might be a few minutes more) It is freeI went about 9:30 in the morning and there were just a couple of cars but in my way out (about 11) saw lots of family getting there.Its not a difficult hike. Also next to it is MAJESTIC FALLS. You literally cross the street and hike your way up. Lots of stairs. But lots of nice spots to sit and relax

Good waterfall, 5 out of 5 stars would fall water there again.

Its always been a nice place for a stroll. Lots of TP along the trails and a lot of new graffiti. So sad to see it going downhill though.

Easy hike, nice path. Depending on if the waterfall is flowing theres a path to walk behind the waterfall that is also neat.

Well maintained trails with easy access and close parking. Good for families and elderly as parking is very close to the falls

Easy hike great for a family hike

You can see it from the road but its a short hike to the fall, and its quite breathtaking up close.

Walking trail a bit bumpy for me but well worth it.

Lovely place if you like to hike around. Very peaceful and quite beautiful. Not a lot of places to rest along the hike .

Pretty decent waterfall. I was there I the fall after some rain.

Lots of fun. Nice long trails with an absolutely wonderful payoff. You can walk up to the top of the waterfall.

Nice to see the falls with a lot of water. Its been a few years since I saw them run this full.

My favorite place to exercise! Beautiful place to spend an afternoon or even longer. Well kept trails although not wheelchair accessible. Walkers can transverse the trail from the bottom parking lot to the second falls.

I have never been disappointed when viewing this fall at all diffrent times of the year. I love going in spring when the water flow is huge

Royal terrace Falls was very pretty, I think it said it was a total of 138 ft tall but I could have gotten that wrong. However the maximum that can be spent at this park is about 2 hours. This parking McDowell Park, where Royal terrace Falls are located.
