I enjoyed my visit very my. At this time of the year it is a quiet and relaxing place to visit. There is a walking trail the whole way around the lake (it is fairly level but enough so for wheelchairs) that allows you full access. You can canoe and kayak on the lake as well as fish. They had just restocked the lake when I was there so there were a number of fishermen enjoying the opportunity to catch a few. Ducks and geese were plentiful making for some very nice photography opportunities. Lots of picnic area and a few spots for overnight camping, by permit only. Definitely I will return and enjoy the beauty.

Im here every day walking the dogs. Great trails, large enough even for all the distancing stuff. Minimal garbage spewed about compared to other parks. This park is never empty except on blistering cold days.

Date of visit: Monday June 17, 2019. I have been here a few times before and have always enjoyed my visit. It was raining off and on but there were a few individuals fishing. Lots of ducks. There are parking spaces for special needs drivers and there are port-a-potties available. There is a small dock for special needs individuals on wheel chairs needing a flat and secure area to fish. This dock is posted. What a great idea. The park is poorly marked on Miller Street and I always seem to drive past it. There were school children in the Nature Barn so I guess that its purpose is an education center. My last visit to the park was back in February but I was denied access because the park was closed. I dont know if the park is closed in the winter season. The first time I had ever visited the park was in December a few years back. The park was open and I took some fabulous pictures on that visit. The park is located in North Lebanon Township and it is approximately three miles from the center of Lebanon city. The park is free and it is open to the public.

Multiple parking lots located around the dam offer easy access. Boat ramp, picnic tables, and even a handicapped dock for fishing. I do not know if there were public bathrooms although I did see a port-a-potty close by. Camp grounds with bbq stations. It was so peaceful walking around and looking at the lake and watching the ducks and geese. I would go back again for sure.

Nice area. Not too big and not too small. I was there on a school trip. We studied ecology and planted some trees. Theres wildlife there too, like geese, turtles, and frogs. I saw people there fishing, walking, and even running along the trail that encircles the lake. There is a boat launching area. The nature barn wasnt anything special, at least not while I was there. They have lots of parking. Bathrooms were all transportable, except for the one in the nature barn, but that one did not rely on running water. It was basically an indoor outhouse. Bring bug spray and make sure to take your allergy pills! Be ready to enjoy nature.

Really pretty place. We walk our dogs here often. Its not maintained as well as some parks due to funding but its not run down. It actually gives it a more natural feel. It can get pretty muddy in spots especially after rains or when snow is melting. Very popular fishing spot including ice fishing. Its a nice year round recreational spot if you enjoy getting out and enjoying the seasons.

Overall a nice place for a walk, jog or just to sit and relax. Personally I think this park could use a dog park/run near the the barn theres a beautiful tree covered area with benches and could be fenced and is separated with its own parking which living near this park I see this area rarely used, why not let our furry friends who live in the city have a place/ park in Lebanon county for them to run and enjoy socializing off leash like they are intended.Due to irresponsible and sometimes dangerous owners I believe the best option is a membership dog park fee and registration of dogs required which also would help fund park improvements such as stopping the paths from flooding when it rains etc. There is PLENTY of unutilized space at this park. I know I would pay a flat family fee and registration for my 4 dogs to have access since we dont have a yard living in town and driving to Lancaster or York is a haul with 4 dogs! And of course Id be first in line to volunteer to help build, find others to donate/volunteer as well if this ever becomes an possibility!

My go to place to regroup. A crowd of us used to camp on one side of the lake. We would have a blast. I am not sure if camping is still permitted here or not. There is a very well marked walking trail. Lots of people utilize the Park for walking. Very peaceful on the trail. When I feel homesick for the area where the park is located I imagine walking around the trail. Those memories still bring me peace of mind.
