Great view from the tower. The only way up is using the many ladders inside unless you happen to be Spiderman.

Great afternoon with my grandchildren. We took the red blaze trail instead of the fire road. Much nicer. My grandchildren went up and down the tower 14 times. Ice cream after at the Quentin Haus.

Tower was fun. Several trails. Decent boulder formations. There is a lot of steep uphill walking. Several mountain bikers were riding and a few people bouldering

Governor Dick is a very splendid park that offers a unique space for a variety of activities. There are trails for hikers, mountain bike trails for all skill levels, trails for horses, boulders to climb, and a fire tower that offers a 360 view of the vast countryside. The hike to the tower is arguably the most popular thing to do here. The hike is a easy/mild 2ish mile walk and will take 1-1.5 hours to do when parking from the nature center.

Great hike to the tower but is mostly up hill so be ready to push or carry younger kids. Butterflies are beautiful this time of the year. They can be found on a short trail near the tower.

Was here on a rainy day but did the tower anyways and it was still worth it just for the experience sans view. Trails are dog friendly and strollerable, no significant elevation gains either but everything is well maintained and the history of the area was fascinating to me. Check out Mount Gretna if you have never been, neat little village that made me feel like I was in Europe.
