Very serene Park. Narrow trails but with a little courtesy everyone can enjoy. I got there a little after sunrise in May and my dog and I had the trails to ourselves until about 9am. Nice leisurely walking with some benches and beautiful wooden walkways. Many great falls especially in Spring when runoff is still strong. Take them time to go to the top of Royal Terrace falls.

Such a gorgeous place to be in the sun! Was about 80-90 degrees out, but the trees surrounding the whole hike kept it very cool and the sounds of the natural habitat all around you was so relaxing to hike too. When going to the falls, be aware of the steps! I did not realize they were as steep or as big as they actually were. I personally wouldn’t recommend bringing kids unless you’re going for recreational time / not actually hiking. It’s hard lowkey haha. All around amazing, would go again and again

Very nice park! There are three parking areas. The lowest one has access to a pit potty, and is a short walk from a waterfall..The top parking area provides easy stair access to the most impressive fall (this parking area is off a small road to the north of the main road.)There are picnic tables at the middle and upper parking areas. Its also a nice park to play in the creek.

Awesome hikes to 2 waterfalls - we came here by chance and loved the secluded area with few other hikers on the trails. Hiked the loop hike to Majestic and Terrace falls. It was very nicely kept. However, unable to see the Lower Creek Falls, the area was not accessible - there was a wasp nest, so maybe the rangers tried to keep people away from that area.

Very beautiful paths and waterfalls, graffi is lightly present on a couple of the path bridges and structures, but not enough to ruin the hikes. My biggest complaint (not actually that great of a complaint at all though) was that there were a couple of times in which it may have been nice to have more signs that would have been helpful for not going on dead end trails, but in a way that alone has a different charm as it adds some adventure. Overall a nice hike thats not too long or laborious.

Such a beautiful hike! It may be muddy depending on what time of year you go and the weather before hand but it was totally worth it!! I recommend going off the trail a little as well to find the cool little spots

Its better to park on the lower parking lot to see the first falls. Then hike up to the Majestic falls. Both parking lots are free. There is a bathroom at the lower parking lot. Its a great spot for kids. A couple of nice areas for kids to play in the water.

Absolutely lovely view! Very secluded and not crowded at all, moderate hike due to not level paths and rocks/tree roots in the path as well. Many water access paths along the way and the water doesnt move fast or get too deep either. Most areas are shallow enough for younger children to play in. Nice getaway day trip!

Short loop hike with some stairs and a mix of gravel and dirt trails. Mostly covered. View points have wooden paths. Other paths are narrow with one person stopping while the other passes by. Recommend counter clockwise as youll be taking the stairs down...

A beautiful location with several branching trails. The various branches encourage multiple visits that give you a different experience each time. There are also several picnic tables near the entrance.

This is a great place to hike with the kids. The trails are not challenging however there is some elevation change and the wooded trails are a imagination factory for younger kids. There is plenty of plants to see and the falls are nice to look at. The trail is well maintained and there are steps for the steeper areas. Watch out for the bees during late summer around the picnic tables.

Mi

This is a usually lightly travelled well maintained hiking area with multiple beautiful waterfalls. It does have a restroom at the trail head (think pit toilet), ample parking at three different areas, picnic tables, and great spots for pictures all along. It can be a bit slick if theres been rain (muddy) and some of the elevation gains arent the easiest.

Je

Excellent place to get out for a quick afternoon hike, tho its located southeast of Salem travel time from up north can take some time but the trail has lots of views and a challenging climb in a particular direction if one chooses to take the loop option. Once you reach the wooden bridge crossing and see the water falls you wont be disappointed. Id recommend parking at the lower parking lot, cross Royal Terrace Falls and make your way up following the Creek to the upper falls area, pass above the upper parking lot continue on the trail to climb a bit more before the trail descends to the upper half of Royal Terrace falls and more views then back down to the lower parking lot, easy trail to navigate with a little knowledge.

Nice mellow hike. I did the clockwise loop. There are stairs in both directions that could be difficult for some people. They are also slippery because of the waterfall oversoray so be careful. You get a nice a nice view of some falls. I went in winter and there was interesting mushroom growth in the area. Trailhead has several parking spots, pit toilets, and picnic tables next to the river.
