Its a nice place to walk and talk. Very kid friendly. There are no playgrounds, and the restrooms are currently closed. There is very little shade, due to the small size of trees.Its a very good arboretum.

I dont think you looked at the definition of Arboretum... This area is seriously lacking the basic component.... TREES.arboretum[ˌärbəˈrēdəm]NOUNa botanical garden devoted to trees.

Great place to take a stroll, and there is a bicycle repair stand in the parking lot. Its a great place start to cycling the Lawrence Loop. There are benches scattered around the lake along the walking path.

Great place to walk dogs. It was flooded in spots after a big rain. The grounds are well maintained. Some parks have weirdos this one doesnt.

Amazing place. Good for strolling in the evening, jogging or cycling. But be mindful of walking too much inside during the evening. It can get dark and lonely.

Nice paved trails with ponds, gazebos wonderful flowers in a large loop. Good for jogging, biking, walking. The paved trail leads over a mile to Sanders Mound overlooking Clinton Lake.

It gets 5 stars even though it made my daughter forget how to sit in a chair the right way.

It offers a simple outdoors walking around the ponds. Very easy to find. Live geese, especially during mating season and when the parents have their goslings wobbling along between them makes the hour or two extra enjoyable. Beautiful tree swallow caught our attention.

Nice park, I road through here today on my bike and the gazebo is a good place to take a rest for runners and cyclists. Great trail out to Clinton.

The Rotary does a great job, this is one of my favorite looking parks in Lawrence. The arboretum is also a nice spot to park and bike, jog, or inline skate since it is located along a system of paved trails.

We have lived here a couple years and all in all we are happy with the place. Both the staff in the office and the maintenance guys are really nice and the prices here are reasonable.
