A fun place to spend the afternoon. We went on a Saturday and, with covid guidelines, they only allowed 250 people in and then only permitted people to enter when others exited. The line actually moved at a decent pace. We went in and had lunch at the grill, which was decent (burger and fries). Beers were about 4 bucks a can. Lunch for two came to $25. Then we watched the race outside. There was ample seating. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Very nice place with plenty of parking ! They have a room to rent for your party, bars, video game rooms! And so many other things. The most important thing there is the race track! Where you can see the horse running! And people betting while eating some good food !

Good place to relax and have a cold one, not a gambler...

Loved everything about it. From the staff to the people selling their homemade wares and the general public. Everyone seemed in good moods, the layout was nice, food and drinks great, races exciting, the interior beautiful architecturally and the whole environmental vibe was upbeat and fun. I lived watching the horses come in the place to cool down with the owners and jockies after the races. That was extra super great!

We make the trip from Havre de Grace at least once a year. Always a great experience!!

I had a great time at Laurel Park. It was my first visit. I had a great time watching the horses running and betting on them. I had a great time learning to bet, as well. I was very comfortable. There is a section upstairs with couches and comfy chairs. Loved it. The staff was really nice and helpful. I also enjoyed being able to see the horses after they finished running.

My husband and I went for Valentines day to do sip and paint! We had a really good time. It was our first time going but we will be back.

Really liked this racecourse. It was clean and the staff was friendly. Even though it was not crowded had a bit of an issue with people butting in line so we didnt get a few bets in. There are so many windows to see the track and it is beautiful. Plenty of TVs, of course, to bet other races also. Really enjoyed our day and definately will be back!

Great place to watch the Ravens or any football game as they have them all on the same 200 foot wall projection.Also on the wall are many of the top simulcast races live across the country.Plenty of parking options including valet.

First time in a race track. Had lunch with the family and were seated right next to a window where we could watch the races. Kids had a great time.

Stronach Group has done an amazing job renovating the grandstand. Racing surface is one of the best in the country. Always special to win a race there.

Maryland Family tradition to go to the races on Thanksgiving day and we always have a great time. Grateful to the staff, jockeys, trainers and all the people who love horses and keep them safe and healthy. If you havent been in a while recent updates to the interior are really nice and improving! I grew up here always love watching the horses

Generally good food, good wait staff. We go there every Thanksgiving for the buffet and 8 races. The buffet carries on quality from year to year. 2018s was amongst the very best with softball sized crashes that were delicious. In 2019 they dropped the crab cakes and the carving station so it was a bit of a disappointment. Our family still enjoyed the racing and our day and will return next year!

My friend took me to this place and aside from the amazing race course and watching horses, the restaurant offers a good variety of food and drinks. There is parking available, it is suitable for kids and adults of all ages.

Its lots of fun seeing the sight n meeting up with old school friends and hearing everyone having so much fun and excitement.

Way better than Pimilico. Parking, traffic, facilities, every aspect of a track is much nicer here. They have been putting money into this track for several years now and it shows. If you are interested in coming out to the ponies this is the place.

Food and drinks a bit pricey. Building is old, elevator doesnt work properly all the time. Parking although plenty, most is far from club house

SURE WISH THEY WOULD HAVE SLOTS INSTEAD OF THE VIDEO GAMING ROOM. EVERYTIME I GO BY THERE, NOBODY GAMING AND THE ROOM IS NOT BEING USED PRODUCTIVELY, IT EMPTY ! SLOT MACHINES ARE NEEDED ! BUT WHEN WILL THIS HAPPEN ? 2 AN 2 IS 4 STONACH GROUP.

Great environment for a Sysco Food Event

The first time we visited Google Maps took us to the wrong location/entrance. Had to actually click on it through the map to get it to take me to the actual place. Parking is kinda questionable, and traffic speeds through so be mindful at all times. The building itself is extremely nice for being a race track and staff is friendly. Not too crazy about the limited space to view the horses pre-race, but I supposed if you ran down immediately after the race you would be guaranteed ability to view the horses. There is also a few video games on the one end of the building. There is no gift shop. There is a bar and some food available.

Inside is nice. Lots of room and tables. Food is decent and priced reasonable. The racing track and areas are older and need modernized. Overall an entertaining time.

I enjoyed this great track. There were several betting areas along with restaurants and concession stands. All looked clean and functional. The grandstand is enclosed and has great views. The only problem is that the grandstand isnt air conditioned.

Went to tour for a possible wedding venue. I was very surprised at what this location had to offer. Beautiful space

Super friendly staff but the restrooms are not clean.

No idea why everyone is leaving negative comments regarding the restaurant. If you want a 5-star dining experience go elsewhere. If youre looking for cheap beer and the excitement of horse racing this place is top-notch. Almost had a freakout reading everything about how the food and service is sub-par. you dont go to Laurel to sit down and eat a meal. you go for the degeneracy and the horses.

I decided to go and place a bet on the derby. It was exciting, some people were dressed up with hats and bow ties just like they were at the derby. I Had no ideal where to park or enter. But I just followed the crowd. They have free parking and admission. They was a wonderful surprise since I just wanted to place my bet. I saw a few horses and trainers, placed my bet and left. I think Ill go back and actually watch the races. All the attendants very pleasant and. helpful

Very impressed by the renovations that were done.The upper floor has a spectacular very large area with a giant wall of screens for viewing multiple games at one time and a nice bar.The new seating includes really beautiful and comfy sofas, nice end tables for your drinks, and the fur covered directors chairs around the room could not be more comfortable.Betting can also be done from this area.Awesome place to watch any game.

Only place in DC metro area to see live horse racing. Very good facilities for watching and wagering. We hung out at Tycoons, a separate room for betting and food. Good food and great service.

Took the family here for a Saturday afternoon. We were pleasantly surprised when we saw a number of other families with children watching the races. The facility is clean and updated, friendly and somewhat low key. The staff are friendly and willing to answer all your questions. They make an effort to provide an enjoyable experience. At the end of the day we broke even, and had a great time. We will definitely return.

I go to the annual Beer and Bourbon festival. Lots of drinks to taste, food trucks are good and racing is pretty cool.In spite of all the talk about this being a super track you can see the facilities are in need of major improvements. The restaurant may be nice but the betting area, sports bars and general bathrooms are old, old, old and dingy.

They have n annual crabfeast. While that should be enough for a review, Ill add a little more. So we went for the crabfeast, which is under a tent and right next to the race track. Theres also an outside betting window which makes it convenient to wager on the races.

Attended the annual Crab Fest. All you can eat crabs (great size) and plenty of other food options. Beer wine and sodas included. Worth the $66. Everything was delicious. Close to the track to watch the races. Loads of fun

Never heard of Laurel until we went there for a Corporate Xmas party. Took my girlfriend there the very next day for dinner and a day of betting horses..we had a blast and walked out still 60 bucks ahead. You can literally have fun here even if you decide to come with a budget...2dollar minimum bets 6.live races a day and simulcast. And football betting..we spent 40 dollars after all was said and done and thats with drinks and dinner. After counting in our winnings 39.50 is what we shelled out to have a blast all day..thats a real bargain..good food great ambiance and you get a chance to get some loot back...yea be going back again soon

We to Laurel Park for MD Pride Day. Not a lot of people. Good food and atmosphere.

I was there for a corporate event. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was marginally alright and the so called ice cream bar was a self serve tub of vanilla ice cream set out on a table. The toppings were delicious as was the ice cream. Just slightly disappointing that thats all it was. The atmosphere was great and the accommodations were more than comfortable. Plus getting to see the horses was a treat even in December!

Great entertainment for everyone of all ages... Thrilling horse racing (you never know what to expect)... Great food and easy betting (you dont have to spend a lot to have a good time).

Ive been going to Laurel for many years starting back in the 80s with my dad. Not much really changed over the years until the last few years when major changes have taken place. 1st the food choices are amazing and tasty they have drink specials too! Plenty of options for just about everyone. The sports bar is fantastic just wish the lighting was a bit brighter. They have giveaways throughout the year for the fans such as hats shirts calendars mugs etc. At Christmas the giving tree is great! And of course they have excellent racing from 5K claimers to stakes racing and the turf course is one of the best in the world. Laurel has had many changes for the better and theres more to come and I sure hope they can get the Breeders Cup in the next 5 years. If you are a racing fan Laurel Park is a must see. Free parking and admission too.

My company Maintenance Supply Headquarters gave us a holiday party at the grandstand. They went all out for us. The facility here was accommodating and had top notch cuisine. More events need to happen here.

Laurel Racetrack located in Laurel Maryland is a great place to watch live Thorobred horses. The track easy to access, parking is free. There are several restaurants with good food. Tips is a wonderful place to eat and watch the races indoors. Tips has a good Sundays Brunch. Reservations are recommended if you want to sit close to the Track.

Paid and attended an Oyster all-you-can eat...The only problem was I didnt get to eat one oyster...I stayed in line for over 1 1/2 hours and still did t reach tbe unorganized two people staffed who were shucking orders from a bag on demand....It was a disaster and robbery without a gun...Never again...

Great racing with good safe surroundings.

I went here for a car show. I am not sure if there is still horse racing here. The entire complex is huge, and easy to notice from traffic. There is lots of parking, but some of it is quite far away. It is close to Savage Mill of you would like to eat out later.

Great place to get and watch the races.

The race track it self isnt bad, but the food is terrible. The renovation that have been done are not really great for racing fans. The worse part is the traffic leaving after the last race on weekdays, I live 30 miles away and it takes a minimum of an 1 hour and 30 minutes to get home. In my opinion they should get some big restaurants to open up in the grandstand.
