Wonderful place for a flat scenic hike and a couple spots for taking a dip down at the river. Bridge is very cool and historic. Youre able to walk across it.

This location is MUCH more than the bridge! The bridge is located next to a large duck cotton mill that has been converted into a mall. (Homework: Why is it named “duck” cotton) The mall has been renovated keeping the old structures visible so you see what the interior looked like. Be warned- you will spend hours at this place. The mill mall (three buildings), the bridge, and an art dealer! Prices are good and there is a very large consignment antique shop in the basement. There is a very good bakery in the mall as well. If you are in the area, it is a must!

Wish they could have renovated the bridge walkway to not be so obtrusive against the historic bridge itself. At least stain it or something.
