Theres no words to describe its just beautiful, I could of stayed in the Country Store all day theres just so much to look at, so many things brought back so many memories. However our funds were to low to go through the villages, I so wished we could of. My husband demanded to find me something in the store for $5 and he sure did. He found this corner of beautiful jewelry, shawls, scarfs, etc. 75% and he found me this beautiful shawl for $4.50 absolutely beautiful. I cant wait to go back to go through the 80 buildings covering over 20 acres of pecan trees, streams and foliage. I encourage anyone within this area visiting to go tour Landrums Homestead & Village here in Laurel, MS. Youll be glad you did.

Wonderful! Wonderful! Wonderful! We have made Landrums Homestead &Village part of our families Christmas Tradition! From roasting marshmallows on the huge fire pit, visiting Santa Claus, touring all the buildings and attractions of days gone by! I could go on and on! We had a wonderful time this past Christmas as we did the past years! Treat yourself and go see the attractions! The gift shop is awesome!

Came here with the family and we had the place to ourselves on a beautiful spring day. What w ell maintained gem. Kids loves playing tetherball and feeding the fish... and trying to get the peacock to show its feathers. Great fun

Amazing place that aims to represent an old American town. People of all ages can learn about the old historic lifestyles and appreciate how far weve come as civilized human beings. They have events on holidays all year round. Great for a good family trip.

Inexpensive and a great all around experience. They host weddings here also and with all the vintage and antique items and buildings here it makes some great photos. Very fun and comfortable place to visit.

Nice place for family time.

It is a great place to go for a family outdoors event. Our family enjoyed the experience. Arrived at 14 hundred stay there for the Candlelight night, and lights.

Landrums homestead and village Is an amazing place to take kids they can have fun but also learn vital parts of our history It features log cabins mining a blacksmith shop a school a water tower A Lake they also have swings for children they will also enjoy the shooting gallery and sideways house but watch out if youre scared of animals Theres a local peacock and 2 or 3 dogs but they are very friendly You will not regret going here

Go back in time at Landrums Homestead. Each structure is built nicely and staged with period items. The workers are informative and sweet.

Had a wonderful time at Landrum Country. Saw a lot of smiles. Santa and Ms Elf were awesome!

Mid-range review because of the good and the not so good experiences here. Went during the week, large group of 5 and 6 year olds. We were able to let them explore independently throughout the buildings and activities on the property. Only exit was through the gift shop. Pavilions, benches, exhibits and restrooms were well maintained. Not so good: pathway maintence was going on around the children, without safety zones. They were operating equipment in the area of the children. Loud equipment noise and strong tar odor. Once we complained, work stopped. Should have worked when the children were no longer there. Crazy!

Wonderful place for families or schools to visit. Landrums Homestead offer visitors a glimpse into our history. The homestead features log cabins, blacksmith shop, barbershop, general store, old schoolhouse and a church. Take a wagon ride to view additional cabins. Be sure to see the ladies for fresh biscuits made in a wood burning stove. The kids will enjoy the shooting gallery and side ways house.

I would highly recommend because they are so nice and helpful. Every part of this place was so much fun and we are looking forward to our next trip back!

This is a very fun place! There is so much to do that will provide hours of entertainment. The only downside is...there were a few animals wandering. Not a good place for people who fear dogs or peacocks.

My little family loved coming here really wish everything would have been open and running so they could have had the full experience bits thats ok. We did come in the middle if the week and day when there was no tours

My brother and I were on a genealogical trip to Jones County and stopped by Landrums Homestead & Village. We loved it! What a beautiful place to visit to take you back in time. We also loved the store. Wish I had brought my truck to buy one of their beautiful hand-made tables. Will definitely be going back!

Interesting place for kids and adults.

Landrums community has something that will interest everyone in your group from a toddler to your Great Grandpa. For $10 it is hard to beat. If your traveling through the area, its a must see, will likely not ever have a chance to observe in this amazing setting.

Fun place to enjoy the olden days. Friendly folks to be with. I took a church bus full of seniors who thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

Ole time living revisited in as modern world. This is an their back to simpler times. Our kids love going to Landrums!

Fun field trip

The first time I went to Landrums was on an Alpha field trip in the sixth grade. I love it so much. It was an amazing experience. I talked my parents into taking us there this past December. Landrums made for beautiful maternity pictures for my sister and brother in-law. Im so glad I got to go back. We got chicken on a stick and fries and it was amazing. Everyone who works there was so nice and helpful and answered every question we had with a smile. I cant wait to go back!

We love field trips to Landrums! The kids love the crazy house and we just enjoy the scenery and the step back into history!

Such a variety of things to do and places to explore it is. We had a wide range of 10 children and there was plenty for all to enjoy.

Always a family favorite! We visit every year!

This is a very nice family friendly place. We enjoy going around Christmas when its all decorated so beautifully.

Authentic,like home in Arkansas where I grew up,made me lonesome for my uncle and his sugarcane syrup,helping Daddy put layers of hay then potatoes in the potatoes house,laughin at mama the time she tried to wring a chickens neck n it didnt quite take n it chased her,head a floppin sideways,till Tim caught it n finished the job.All the kids had a great time
