I need to take the time to give this place 5 stars. We always stay at The Cal when going to Vegas. We have a toddler. Well, if youve stayed at The Cal or Main Street, you know their tiny arcade room is garbage. Walking down Fremont Street, we saw this place and decided to walk in with our 3 year old. He had a blast! For the amount I lose in a poker machine in 5 minutes, he was entertained for over an hour! The place was clean and the workers were super nice. We ended up coming here every night to give our little one some fun at night. Its not big like Dave and Busters, but it was enough for our toddler. There were other families and older kids enjoying themselves as well. Well be back!
Overall this is a great arcade! Prices are reasonable, tokens are used but there is an option for bills on some machines. Be aware of the payouts on the redemption games (Keymaster, balloon Buster, ect...) as they are set really high. Higher than most other arcades. Still a great way to kill a few hours.
It was great, the employees are really nice.
They close now and didnt even know where they moved too or they just close and not going to open somewhere else
Fun place. Prices are okay, a dollar per play on most of the newer and oversized games. Not much for pinball, one machine. Very clean, no screen burn on any of the machines, good selection for kids and adults to play. Would recommend.
Conner was very kind & nice with us! Showed us easy assistance! Definitely coming back!
Love this place! Brand new everything....how can u go wrong?Update - they are down to 5 Pinball machines from 10.4 were working.*No new pinball machines even though many new titles have been released in the last 6 - 12 months. No Dialed In, no Aerosmith, No Star Wars etc etc etc. This makes B Ho so sad Ohhh snap.....NOW they only have 2 pinball machines!!! Apparently pinball machines dont bring in $$$$$$$$$$$$2 pinball machines- Im guessing soon they will have none!
Awesome arcade! Went with my boyfriend for his birthday and had a great time. The staff was stellar!
Great fun, nice variety, good prices but not a big selection of prizes for your tickets.
Nice Arcade games place; family oriented. It just missed more simulation games like dance and play instruments
I had a great time. Drinks a lil to high. But cool spot.
A nice little arcade place tucked away near Slotzilla on Freemont. Has a varied amount of games to try from you typical Air Hockey and Basketball games, UFO catchers and some arcade and pinball games. There is even a huge Pacman/Galaga machine, which was so much fun to play. The only issue I had was that there were too many prize machines, maybe take out one of the two Walking Dead machines and put in some old arcade games. The Tekken 5 machine also needs the screen looking at, as the picture isnt as clear as it could be.I would definitely come back here, if I come back to Vegas. One final thing, if parents bring the kids, let them go enjoy themselves. As there are two vibrating massage chairs that you can relax in, those things were amazing and well worth the money!
This arcade is dope. Prizes ranging from tootsie rolls to video game systems. They have a fair mix of games for its size. Ive noticed the games switch out occasionally so Im often surprised with something new to try. Its very clean and the staff is awesome. This is a good meetup spot on the weekends, for pre-game, they stay open till 1am and allow drinking inside. :-)
Awesome new and classic arcade games. It is on the smaller side, but a great spot with friendly people. At night it gets a bit wild on the street and parking is up the road at the parking garage - something to keep in mind if you are making an arcade trip with the kids.
After reading about Fremont Arcade over at Arcade Heroes I knew I had to make a special trip while I was in Vegas last fall. The game selection is varied enough to entertain a wide variety of ages, and gave me a second opportunity to give the Battle Pod a go. Fremont has some great pins too, and all the machines are in excellent shape, and are well cared for. Having grown up in the 80s arcade era, this place is a real gem and should absolutely be on your list of places to hangout while in Vegas!
I love this place. Coolest place on the old strip. When ever Im in vegas I blow $30-$60 at this place easy, they have great games, its never too crowded and they used to have these cool retro pin ball machines, Im not sure if they still do or not but Id still love coming here either way.
Great place for kids and adults!! Hidden at the back of Neonopolis but worth the walk from Fremont street. Nothing better for the kids at Fremont! Theres also a toy store nearby!
Alot of fun to hang out here great place to go if you cant drink
Had a great time at this throwback arcade. The nostalgia was real. We were there after hours and the owner didnt even rush us out. It looks like he would have let us stay longer if we wanted to.
A fun place, especially the air hockey and Mario Kart. They dont really have a whole lot of competitive games though. They do however have this crazy gorillagame that you hold these tworods and it vibrates. That was crazy. The games dont really give out enough tickets to wincool things.
Not open! Boo, waste of time to get here.
Absolutely excellent arcade, before i knew it i had spent quite a lot more money than intended but only cuz my son and I were having a blast! Totally worth it! And the guys working there are totally cool, gave my boy some extra tickets when we were cashin in.
Really cool place in Haight...lotsa old time and new machines..weird hours ..call first..think theres a competition later this month..better (and cheaper) than D&Bs
Awesome little arcade! Really nice, helpful staff. Great way to spend a few hours out of the Las Vegas heat.
This place is a hidden gem. Right past white castle,in a little cubbie away from the panhandlers and smell of weed rests the Fremont arcade. The owner here is awesome and Everytime weve come in hes been really friendly and helpful. The selection of games is solid and fun!! I highly recommend you make a stop here! You wont regret it
Awesome place to walk and shop and gamble and eat!!! Some much has changed since the last time I was there in 93!!!
Connor was great! He helped us with the games when one got stuck and was very friendly and helpful throughout our whole visit. We appreciate him!
Best arcade to go to! Conner was super cool and was very attentive will be back!
We spend so much money on tokens and had twice the fun!
Fremont Arcade is awesome! New games like Quick Drop and Stacker keep me coming back. Fernando and Connor are the greatest! These guys are very courteous. I will continue to visit this arcade when I’m back in Vegas. Way to go guys!
Small place, but it’s very clean & have all kinds of games. My son had a lot of fun playing. Very kind helpful young man with the glasses at the register started talking Spanish to my mother who doesn’t understand much English. My son left very happy definitely will come back when we visit Vegas again!
Outstanding fun. Has great games good prices and Connor was an awesome employee very helpful with the games
I had a really good time perfect location if u have kids
Nicest employees in the world. Love this place!! They’re great with the kids and the adults!!
Pro:funCon: (all) games cost 4 tokens or more be prepared to spend money fast and run out of tokens even faster.... I warned you!
It started off with a spinner wheel and winning a free game of pac-man, all staff were EXTREMELY personable, friendly, and helpful when you ask about how to play games. I forgot how much fun an arcade was....went in for a free game and ended up hanging out for about an hour. I even left my cell phone (work one) by accident and didnt realize it till I was bout to get on a flight back home. They coordinated mailing it to me (which I was happy to pay for) but hey wouldnt accept payment. GREAT business....I hope they go far!!
Great place. Good deals. Fun for both adults and kids on Fremont
This place is great, the workers are super friendly and helpful! I know whats its like to deal with games that dont work since ive worked at an arcade and the staff made sure to deal with our issue without making a problem about it! One of the employees helped us out the entire night since we just had bad luck on the games, I think his name was Frank or Fernando but he was very helpful! Would definitely go back soon !
I love passing by to try and win a prize or 2. Fernando is friendly and cool to talk with. The arcade is really clean for being on Fremont if you ever want to take a break from everything outside Id say just pass by to relax and play
Little off the freemont strip. Very nice staff and a fun stop from the choas of the strip
Really sucks that the management upgraded everything. Some old cheap games are removed and prices went up. But we still love this place because the games are fun and its reasonably priced. A good family experience for kids on Fremont.
The guy working the counter was super nice! Would definitely go back
What a great way to spend our time. We spent $20.00 there and got quite a few treats and toys. Love the deal or No deal game. Plenty of games for adults.
So fun! Great for family fun or date night! Awesome games! Definately a throw back!
Valid place good kicking spot
Fernando was very helpful and really sweet. This place reminds me of home i loved the experience!
Its a little cool spot to go.
Brought the kids they had a blast.
I had such a great time at the arcade, but I was having some trouble playing Mario Kart Racing. I was pretty happy that one of the workers there, Fernando, helped get the game going so that I can play it. Would definitely recommend going nonetheless. (:
Good place to keep kids busy for only a little bit of money. Not too spacious but offers a variety of older video game machines & skill-based games like claw machines, air hockey & skee-ball. Kept 2 kids, age 4 & 6, busy for an hour on $20. Beware though, we had a pack of cigarettes stolen from our group by a small group of teens. Pay attention to your belongings.
Super fun place, pinball and vintage games, even a few super rare games. Check it out, well worth the stop.
Went on an interview for employment at Fremont Arcade. Was promised a follow-up with a decision. It never happened. Very professional.
It was okay to have kids entertained. The games are 4 tokens each, and the specials happen after you pay $20, or more.
Its an arcade... Not a huge assortment of games. Kids had an ok time there. They have massage chairs. I almost gave it five stars because of that alone.
Great fun with loads of games. With chances to win prizes.
The Nerd is one of Freemont streets best places to stop. Great owner, amazing staff, Fun atmosphere with: great games, bowling, dancing, and well priced drinks with bottle service.
A lot of fun! A well maintained place with friendly staff.
Plenty of games and very nice people at the counter. Prices were great compared tp other arcade places.
For something that is on Fremont Street it seems pretty dingy. Doesnt really have the Viva Las Vegas feel. The games are over price. For the most part, it takes a dollar for a credit to play a game. And the game selection is very crappie. Not a lot of pinball and not a lot of retro games. Most of the pinball machines where broken and what I can tell they could be fixes easily but they dont fix them. The ginormous games like Pac-Man and Space Invaders that you find here you can find in other casinos. One of the casinos that has the games is Excalibur Hotel and Casino. If you are an adult whos looking for a fun time, other than gambling this is not the place for you. I also feel this place doesnt really appeal to the young. All that Im saying is coming from a professional arcade technician. I came in hopes to find cool arcades around Vegas and was very disappointed bye this trip. But to each their own.
My daughter and I had tons of fun here. Fernando was a great guy and very helpful
MY SON LOVES THIS ARCADE THE EMPLOYEES ARE ALL SUPER FRIENDLY LOVE BRINGING MY SON HERE.
Had a awesome time.. Conner was the best.. My nephews had great time...
Stopped by the other night and Fernando was very sweet and helpful. Place was fun for our group and he always seemed to be smiling and got us going for our night. Will visit again.
Great place to go! Its really fun and Fernando was really nice and he really helped me out! Would definitely recommend
Go there pretty often. Its relaxing and fun. Staff is awesome.
I came with my husband on his work trip. Thought it would be cool to go to this place and ended up being a bad idea. Didn’t realize how little of the game selection they have. The only pinball machine that was working was The Game of Thrones pinball machine . The place needs to get a better selection of games and maybe cut the price in half for credits. Instead of a $1 dollar for a credit it should be $.50 at least. Also the interior artwork not very attractive it seemed very Chucky cheese like.
Had a blast when I went. Games were awesome and fun. That motion ride they have is the bomb, and Mario kart was dope. Erin(I hope Im spelling it right) was quite literally the most awesomest lady ever. Answered every question I had, made sure we were having a good time, and just amazing customer service. She needs a raise. Tldr: 10/10 would play games there again and Erin was awesome.
Fun stuffs for me and my bf
Spend about $200 was willing to spend more until the dude behind the counter got mad about the game alarms going off and yea we cheated but we didnt know it was making alarms go off but was still spending money to win stuff I can buy for cheap and instead of telling us we were making the alarms go of the first time he treats to kick us out... Thats my last time wasting my money there.
The staff is really amazing and the games are so fun! I love it here!
Love playing Halo with my babe here!
Typical modern arcade uses tokens and you can use tickets you get from games to trade for prizes, nothing special.
Trying to win a child a Peekachu and let out some frustration. Cheaper than therapy!!
Great drunk fun.
Fremont + Arcade = super duper fun
I come to this place everyday after work and I never get tired of it. They have some of my fav oldsxhool arcade games as well as some Ive never even played before. They keep the place updated so youll see newer arcades from time to time. Highly recommended to come visit while in Fremont.
I have been a here a few times and had fun. But after how I was treated tonight by staff who seemed irritated to be working I can say I will never return. I stood at the counter for several minutes being ignored while attendant “cleaned” the ticket taking machines. He came back to the counter and talked to everyone else but me. As I was cashing in my tickets I asked for a specific flavors of candy that was right on top and was rudely told “you can’t pick, it’s all random.” This is new. The last few times I have been here I was asked what flavors I wanted. I dont spend money at places that don’t know how to treat customers.
Great little Arcade hidden on Fremont. Nice place to take the kids when in town
Had a groupon for gameplay. Enjoyed playing the games.
The games here are nice but they dont seem clean. Though, they are entertaining and there is a normal variety. Not too much or too little. The games cost a reasonable amount. You get to collect tickets too, resulting in many prizes. But some machines are broken and are never told when they are. Be wary. The employees there are not that talkative to the customers. But they do help. Though they seem impatient when you choose your prizes. They dont look approachable either.Prizes there are cheap but also good. Though the ticket prices are massive compared to something made cheap or cheap looking. If you want something good have fun spending tons of money on only something cheap or eventually good. The place is clean but the floors arent really. New carpets should be good for them because these ones are stained and have gum on them sometimes. But they do get cleaned when necessary.I give a 3/5.
Fun and cheap old school entertainment!
The freemont arcade is an Awsome pastime, their prises are too expensive..
Awesome arcade with the best games. This place has the classics you remember as well as tons of other variety. The staff is really cool and nice and its perfectly located on Fremont Street.
A fun place to waste a little time off Fremont Street. Reasonably priced.
Great place! My son (3years old) and his dad was able to have plenty of fun and had their bonding moments! The kind man behind the counter with glasses was too kind to us, As african American family you know we meet rude Customer service representative. But we were treat equally and even help my son stop crying. (He was being the basic 3 year old) lol but seriously lots of fun and humble atmosphere!DO NOT MISS OUT! BRING THE KIDS
Good games, spent less money in an hour than the casino and was more entertained there
I love taking my son every week here he loves it very cozy and friendly place arcade attended is so nice.
I was about to spend time here with my daughter when I read some of the owners responses to the paying customers reviews. I was looking forward to spending time here and writing a review of my experience. Snarky online responses from the owner to a customers experience doesnt entice me to spend my money here. Looking elsewhere.
Not crowded! Mario Kart and Guitar Hero....fun!
I didnt actually spend any money but I seen all the rediculous prizes from naked brand earbuds and headphones to Nintendo switch! The actual game console! They also have PlayStation cards and much more.
Super friendly staff and a great place to hang out while visiting downtown I definitely recommend 10/10 coming back with more of my friends.
