A really cool local video game shop. They make it a place you can hangout and just enjoy talking about and looking at video games with friends. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. Best of all, they dont pressure you into preorders or signing up for some BS discount plan or magazine. These places should be treasured, keep up the amazing work guys!!

Store has great selection with lots to choose from, but the service there is horrible. Went in there on 9/19/2020 was looking at the games behind the counter, I asked the girl working if I can see a certain game that I would I like to inspect the game before I purchase it. The way the girl treated me was not acceptable, her attitude towards me was very belittling, she acted like I was gonna take off with the game or steal it. Now I don’t know her reason behind this but I been to the store on multiple occasions and I seen her treat other people differently then the way she treated me. Maybe I don’t look like the typical game collector or maybe cause I’m Mexican, I don’t know but what I do know is that I deserve the same courtesy she has given others on the previous times I been there. I will no longer do business with this place which I have been shopping with since they had a location on Nellis. I did however grab a game (Power Piggs) which was definitely priced wrong. Was priced $25 less then Price charting and recent sales on eBay.

Tried to go over here to check it out & maybe buy video games, getting in the lot is like pulling teeth, have to turn around, do UTurns amongst other things then when you get in the lot, its small & compact & NOWHERE to park because everyone & their dog is over here for some reason. Looks like another place to avoid especially with the nightmare parking lot

Brought my PS4 Pro in here for a repair of the fan after attempting to take it somewhere else and being told that I wouldn’t get it back for at least a week. The owner was super knowledgeable, explained the whole process to me, and even informed me of the fact that I could send my PS4 back to Sony and they would replace it which could have potentially cost him my business. I decided to let him do the work because I didn’t want to wait that long and he was able to get the issue fixed within two hours!

Great place. And they sell the used games at a fair price. My cousin and I stop by to buy a game or two or see what they have. It’s fun playing on Star Trek pin ball machine. I absolutely love it. I would recommend people to go over there to find games or buy consoles they offer.

I googled around my hotel in Vegas for a retro game store and got lucky with this one. It’s basically partially a retro game museum plus tons of retro games for sale. Plus some current games. Guy at the counter was nice and fun to talk to, really informative. The owner seems like he has a love for retro games too, wish I could have spoken with him more about his vision for the place. They also repair and sell arcade machines! Cool place. Definitely recommend if you’re a retro game fan. Would definitely visit again!

My wife and I went to A Gamers Paradise on the recommendation of a Pinball repair man. Sean the owner is a fantastic person. He has some of the most immaculate arcade machines to play and for sale. I purchased a Ultimate MK3 AND A Terminator 2 gun arcade game. Both were in pristine condition and look amazing. Sean delivered the arcades for me promptly and offered to move them if I needed to another location. This is the place to go for all your video game needs. They dont have stores like this around much and this one is really a Gem. I will be a customer as long as he is in business. He is even building a custom arcade Cabinet for me right now. And if you need old school games or components this is the place. They have EVERYTHING. Neo geo to taco phone from Nokia to an original Commodore 64.Great Store, Great Owner, Great Experience

All his displayed items have a description of the year it came out and alittle about it i honestly love it! Friendly and amazing service

This store is one of my favorite places to go for collecting retro games and getting some used games at a good price. The only real complaint I have is the owner sometimes seems like a really nice person, but at times seems dismissive and short tempered. Save for that I reccomend coming here

I go here once or twice a month. Great trade backs credits and friendly service. Employee Ryan is awesome always remembers my name. Small arcade in back and free games to play in general shopping area. Very kid friendly. Love going there every chance I get. Great place for super nerds and casual gamers. Also very helpful to non gamers looking for gifts or to start never up sale unless necessary. Best game store in town.

Extremely rude owner. I used to come to Seans company every couple of months/years or so since 07 when he had a store in Nellis and Washington. Lately every time Ive been there hes always been badmouthing the customers behind their backs as soon as they walk out the door, while Im in their listening and browsing. This one guy came in wanting to sell a game, and soon as he left Sean starts talking to a coworker of his how the central Vegas area around unlv is full of retards and how he has to put up with dumb*** customers like the guy who left. Good prices but horrible customer service, they never bother to acknowledge me when I walk in. Never shopping here again, who knows what of trash Sean has said about me for all I know. Also for the other comments concerning prejudice in this place, its true Ive witnessed it myself too.

This place has a really good selection of games from all kinds of systems. My favorite thing about the store is the displays with details about various systems throughout history.The reason I give it 3 stars though is for customer service. Ive been here 3-4 times and its just been hit or miss with the person running the store. Sometimes hes great and other days hes seemed short with me or my friends when we ask him questions. I also dont appreciate the way some ps1 game cases are put on shelves with 1/2 of the original art but thats just me nitpicking. Definitely not the best store in town but worth checking out every once in awhile.

Great place with alot of options

The place is amazing. If you are a retro person I would recommend it because there is a lot of games there and you can buy and also sell your old consoles or games. There was only one guy there and he was the store owner I believe. He has a big amount of collectibles that he displays. I am a Nintendo retro fan and I found lots of games. I was able to buy one of gameboy advance games.

Been here before, nice enough but when I called and inquired if a game was in stock, the unenthused employee promptly said no. Didnt even look I dont think and wasnt apologetic about it. Definitely not doing my business here ever again.

Had an issue with my xbox and this place was recommended to me. I wasnt disappointed. Turned out the xbox itself was beyond tepair but Sean did all.he could and inevitably replaced the whole thing and saved the drive. Im not techy so I dont know what that means but he onlu charged me $40 for an entirely new system because mine was beyond repair. Customer service right there is incredible. The shop itself was definatly nostalgic in a great way. Classic systems and newer ones as well. They have a selection of movies and blu rays as well. The shop has an arcade in the back that charges well below the arcades around town, plus you could buy the system if you have the coin for it. Overall I really like this place and wish it was closer to home so I could go here more often. If you need something fixed this is the place to go, if you are looking for something in particular check it out. This place is worth a go.

The owner is terrible and treats their employees really poorly in FRONT of customers. It makes for a very akward situation. The employee at the time was really nice though and was pretty helpful. However, the item I purchased stopped working like, a month later . The area is kinda gross too, I wont be coming back.

Can I say awesome, Im so happy I found a place like this still around in Vegas. I was able to pick up some last minute items I needed for a good price. I also found some very cool items I dont need, but I really really want. Prices are very good, some are crazy but when it comes down to it, they have the games and the accessories you cant find any where else in such great conditions. Stop in and just see what they got, I basically gave my youngest brother a who is a video game know it all a history lesson. They are next to the Pinball Museum, which is also another cool place.

I have shopped at this store several times. No problem. Tonight I walked in an met a guy who had these blue earrings in his ears said he was a manager. Basically he was rude and very racist. I told him that I was video taping him. He said he didnt want my kind end there. I ask him was he being funny. He said no this is a privately own business and that I was not to come in there again. He said he didnt have to give me customer service because they really dont want my kind in there. And he told me to go to game stop of I want customer serviceIf you are a person of color and you see this guy leaveThey do have good people there but this guy is a racist and he needs not to work for this company. He followed me out of the store after I made a purchaseIf this person continues to work for this company after I speak with management then it reflects on this company.

Ive seen some recent bad reviews and felt the need to give my experience. Ive honestly had no issues with this store. Ive been here a few times, and the first time I went in, the guy at the counter allowed me to inspect each disk for the game they had, and let me choose the ones I wanted. I also came in another time, and someone (I believe the owner) was willing to cut me a deal on something they had a large stock of. After having been to quite a few retro game stores around town, this is the only one that had anything decent in stock, as well as one of the most organized stores around.

This is awesome place. Was there at the middle of December, 2013. The shop owner was there. He is great guy - very polite and knowledgeable about video games. We talked a little and I told him that Im from the Russia. And he presented me with Intellivision console just because I have come a long way! I was very surprised!If you are in Vegas, do not miss the opportunity to visit this place, because the owner of this shop really loves video games.

Usually a good selection. Loyalty program is ok. Prices are ok. Can some great bargains from time to time. Staff not willing to negotiate on prices when something is overpriced and they have had sitting around for a few years. I’ll check this place out next time in town but unlikely to buy anything.

Until one day the owner didnt want to refund my product that was a non-functioning controller that they gave to me, its unfair and not worth going here. It broke my heart, when the store betrayed me. Now I have to spend more money to fix the controller, it fells terrible. Like what The Room (2003) said Everyone betray me, Im done with this wour!I rated this store 5/5 a few weeks ago, but today made a bad taste in my mouth. You can still go here and enjoy it, but for me it didnt last long.I recommend Retro City Games its better than this and Game Repair. Retro City Games is the TRUE gaming store, no more bald owners.Ps: I spend all my money on games, looks like they lose a potential customer sucks to be them.

Its cool having a store that sells older video games still, and this place sells some really cool stuff. I replaced my old game boy from when I was 10 here. I love coming to this place just to pick up something from my childhood.

Went to check out this store while I was on vacation as retro games are hard to come by and expensive where im from. The staff was great, very helpful, and we worked out a deal for a significant amount of atari games. Love the store, and will return 100% next time I come to vegas.

The owner Shaun of this game store is racist and rude !! I was in there and he would not show any intrerst in helping me i came in with $4000 cash looking for a pinball machine. He told me he is busy and was going on Vacation soon and didnt have time because he has repairs that have to be finished. Cool place Dillon the guy behind the counter gives great service and they have great prices on retro games. If you are in the market for arcade machines, they start below $1000 here and they have the best variety of games you can find in a local retro game shop in Vegas.
