Really cool Titanic exhibit. Very unique items displayed from the wreckage. Definitely worth the cost if you enjoy history.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this exhibit. It was very unique and interesting. The gift shop hostess added addition details about our two passengers that we were given to track through the exhibit. I would highly recommend this exhibit.
You can take photos of everything except the grand staircase. Its a very well done exhibit
Literally the best expo and museum I hav ever visited!I’ve been at Titanic Expo in Orlando, which is smaller, and this one in Vegas is the best. It laid out very nice and informative. You could feel the difference in all three classes on board.I love reading through stories of passengers from Titanic, every single one is unique. The exposition takes you back in time, if you use a little bit of imagination: from idea, to building of the ship, then launching, the voyage and the night where it meets the iceberg.I could stop crying near the hide iron piece of the hull. I believe that is the biggest piece that had been brought to the surface. 15 tons of steel give you a very good imagination how big it was. Energy around that piece, that witnessed the tragedy is hard to describe. You have to see it for yourself
OMG IT WAS SO FUN THE BEST EXPERIENCE EVER I HAD SO MUCH FUN
This experience was both beautiful and haunting! A large array of artifacts that were respectfully displayed, including the big piece, a chefs hat belonging to one Mr. Hine (who sadly did not survive) money, fine china and so much more! I was told I could take as many pictures as I wanted except for the replicated grand stairs case room. I loved the set up of the exhibit, which was amazingly informative! I have always loved learning about the Titanic and have made my own little study of it so being able to have this experience was deeply emotional for me and one I will never forget. You are given a person profile boarding pass that tells you all about the person you have, little details of their life, what class they were traveling and at the end of the the exhibit you scan the bottom to know if they survived or perished. I cant wait to go back, and yes, I will be going back! With so much to see you will always be amazed!
This is a good exhibition of the titanic. I do like how you walk through each of the ships classes and the explanation of each deck. Some very nice artifacts. Ranging from dishes to recovered monies. The big piece was a very nice piece and it showed how much actually thickness of the steel used on the construction wall of the ship. That must have been some iceberg to take this mighty ship down. The only drawback I do have if the experience was the front tickets counter. They are as courteous as a toilet urinal.
It was emotional and educational. Very fun with the promanade deck under the stars but emotional to see an actual piece of the ship, I never knew that they had pulled some up. I would recommend if you wanted to get away from the party scene of Vegas. Its also right next to the bodies exhibit so you could make a day of both, get the package deal and go straight from one to the other.
Must visit. Amazing!
Inside the luxor so a cool experience even walking in. Cant take pictures once I side the exhibit but it is still well worth it. Took my 10 year old daughter who was as interested in it as myself. They also give you a boarding pass of a real passenger to learn about while exploring and then to find out who were among the lucky ones to survive or those unfortunate to not make it through this tragedy.
It wasn’t worth the money. We actually thought you’d be boarding an actual ship. Their was to much reading and less displaying. I didn’t come to stand and read thousands of pictures and items. Don’t go it’s not worth it.
Awesome...just awesome
By far the best thing I saw in Vegas, the amount of detailed information is outstanding. We got admission in a deal but I’d 100% pay the full price. Really really worth a visit if you love historical stuff
2nd time experiencing this exhibit. It is AMAZING...I cant believe the amount of artifacts that are displayed. The fact that some of these items were at the bottom of the ocean for so many years. The main artifact at the end is the best. I wont spoil it...youve got to experience it for yourself. Quick tip...order your tickets thru Vegas.com for less expensive tickets. PEACE
I went 1.5 years ago and it was AMAZING! I got teary eyed as I made my way through the exhibit feeling as though I was on the Titanic myself...step by step the rooms got colder and colder until I could see my own breath. I went through a closed door onto the deck of the ship into the pitch black of night and gasped. It was truly emotional and extremely moving. THIS trip however was a total bust. The door to the deck was propped open, the exhibit was way too overcrowded, and it was hotter than hell in there; it was unbearably distracting and ridiculously disappointing . I will never return for another subpar experience.
Our family truly loved it. Our 9 year old girls enjoyed a s it was way better than we expected. So glad we did it. I definitely Recommend the audio tour.
I so loved this exhibit. Visiting this exhibit was the most interesting thing I did in Las Vegas. If you are interested in knowing the history and facts behind Titanic then this is a must see attraction for you in Vegas. The exhibit displays the chunk of the Titanic and other stuff that was retrieved from the sea. There is a champagne bottle that still has champagne in it. It seems the exhibit is designed to transport us to the world of Titanic and it succeed in doing so . The way they have presented the facts about the ship, its passengers and events is very unique and outstanding.
Unfortunately the company running this enforces a no photos rule with insane zealotry. A staff member told me off for taking a picture - when asked what the problem was, he answered that it was due to copyright. This is legal nonsense as visitors personal photographs will be covered under fair use. These are historic artifacts. They are not intellectual property. The sooner they end up in a public institution, the better.I feel sorry for the employees who are forced to be hostile to visitors for no good reason. It also makes zero business sense.
Beautiful exhibit and very touching. They offer a military and law enforcement officers discount. It is very easy to find on the second level. Each person is given a boarding pass with the name and story of an actual person who traveled on the Titanic and at the end if the exhibit you can find your persons name and see if they survived.
The family and I were VERY surprised by the number and variation of artifacts recovered from the wreck. I imagined a few plates and cups, the odd shoe and maybe a door knob but I was in amazement at this display. The big piece was very impressive. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is even slightly curious about the Titanic.
Great deal of history and important facts that lead to the catastrophe, that history buffs like me love.
It was my favourite attraction Ive gone to in Vegas.
Parts were too dark to see the items exhibited, but it was very informative and interesting.
Amazing experience! Its like being in the Titanic... great exhibition!
It was a nice exhibit, with real part from the titanic. You are not allowed to take photos which I thought was strange. And also the price was abit high for what you see. I had a go vegas pass which this is included in. If it wasnt I dont think I would pay the $35 each to get in.
Very neat. Really enjoyed it. They have a large “iceberg” you can touch. Very cool. An area you walk through that shows you what it would be like to be on the walkway at night. Lots of really neat things that were found in wreckage with some personal stories along with them. If you like history you will love this. You also get a ticket at beginning with a name of a real passenger and at the end you see if they survived or not.
I like to go see that one of these days sounds awesome and amazing
Great Place Very interesting.... would like to see audio over speakers instead of buying a hand phone set to listen
Excellent exhibition, wasnt sure if we would like it when going to it as we were looking dor something to waste time however it was completely worth it. We just wish the photos were not so expensive to purchase. (Which we didnt purchase)
LOVE LOVE LOVE this exhibit. There is so much cool information and things to see at this exhibit. I visited here a few years back and I could not wait to come back. I am happy to see that this exhibit is still around. I hope that it continues to stay in Vegas.
Amazing place for visiting!!!
Thats very atmospheric place! Was nice to visit it :)
Nice exhibit. Though a little pricey for what you actually get to see. They have a ban on photo taking which I dont entirely understand. I was on holidays from Australia with my husband and my kids were back at home. My son absolutely loves researching everything Titanic and I would have loved to have taken a couple of photos to show him but its banned. I would guess their reasoning is to preserve the artefacts but my real assumption is to make sure people dont get turned off by the fact there is barely any artefacts in the room and therefore wouldnt pay the big entry ticket to see the couple of rooms of items.
The actual “big piece” is here! Well done exhibition.
Such a great exhibit. My 6 year old son really enjoyed seeing the different class levels and the grand staircase. The giant piece of the titanic was very interesting. Over all a must see exhibit if you have any interest in Titanic.
This is such a cool attraction - dont miss it! The big piece is there - its the largest piece of the Titanic salvaged! So neat to see. It made history come alive.
Ive been waiting my whole life to go to a Titanic museum. This did NOT disappoint! My favorite part if my trip to Las Vegas so far!
Very interesting and informative
Not a bad price to see artifacts that you cant see anywhere else in the world. Very nice presentation and alot of facts that anyone interested in the Titanic should know. The boarding pass was a nice touch...giving you a name from a passenger that actually sailed on the Titanic, and at the end of the exhibit you get to see if you survived or not. I died. No pictures or video are allowed and I think thats a reasonable request...Definitely something nice to do that doesnt take alot of time, as some Vegas attractions are known to do. I went through it in about an hour.
Amazing exhibit, it really humanizes all the artifacts when you see the stories of the people who owned the actual items youre looking at. 10/10 would go see it again next Vegas teipy.
Absolutely amazing. We did the mgm 3 for $57 and this was top on our list. The details, the history and the sheer beauty of the artifacts were perfect. Yes it’s a bit chilly but there’s a reason for that! And it’s so worth it!!!! Would 100% go again
They have done a really great job with helping you see what the Titanic was like. Great re-creations of the promedade deck (complete with stars and cool evening air), the Grand staircase and the first and third class accommodations (quite a contrast there). But the real show stopper for me was the big piece..an actual 200 or so foot section of the side of the ship. Pretty amazing! They take pictures throughout..get plenty of shots as the best deal is a 45 dollar package which includes all of them. Nice step into history!
Touching. I recommend if you are staying at the Luxor or Mandalay Bay. Good for all ages
Great exhibit, informative, really made us see what it was like. So neat to see all that was done. Iceberg was unique and the promenade deck was breathtaking. A must do!
The last three times we have been to Las Vegas we have seen this exhibit. Will definitely see again as well
I thought this exhibit was pretty cool. They had a ton of personal items and information about the Titanic.
Really expensive, but really interesting too. The only thing is that they need to update some of the signs and make them easier to read. Some things didnt work quite as planned, too, so I think for the price you expect it to be a bit better.
I’m a little biased, as the Titanic as fascinated me from childhood. A year ago I went to the Titanic Belfast museum and found going to this Titanic Exhibit at the Luxor in Las Vegas the perfect follow up experience. The reason being is this exhibit features artifacts brought up from the actual wreckage. Which is just mind boggling that these items were two+ miles below the surface of the cold Atlantic Ocean for 70 to 80 years and many of them look like they haven’t aged a day (like the porcelain dishes some of the tile that was used on some of the decks, and some luggage). The exhibit is located on the second floor, next to the Bodies exhibit and in front of the large obelisk and Sphinxes. The exhibit also recreated a hall of the “steerage” deck, a section of the promenade deck, a full size recreation of the grand staircase and a first class states room. Mixed with all the artifacts I thought it a brilliant way to give an experience of what the Titanic was and the innovation it employed in its day and age.Two features that stood out and gripped my imagination was the ice room, where you can feel a chunk of ice and get an idea of how cold the water was on that fateful night, and the huge slab of the ships hule. You can see all the rivets, a few windows (some still have the glass in them) and the remnants of where the rooms were. Incredible these artifacts are even there to be seen.If the story of the Titanic has ever intrigued you, you will find this exhibit well worth the time to go see.
Its a great place to learn more about it! Dont want to miss the big piece of the Titanic! You get to touch the iceburg in there!
Impressive art exhibit of one of the greatest ships of all time. Visual displays contain actual artifacts salvaged from the wreck.
I love all things Titanic and this experience was awesome. The Grand Staircase and Promenade Deck was great. So much to see, read and learn. At the beginning everyone is given a boarding pass of an individual with some history of the person. At the end you search the wall to find out if the person survived. I would have loved to been allowed to take photos inside but aside from that it was enjoyable and well done.
The good news is that the artifacts are amazing even with their sad history. The bad news is the price and NO PHOTOGRAPHY.
It was ok, it was interesting to see some of what they recovered.
Have wanted to check this out and was not disappointed. If there is more than one person you will want to went enough audio speakers for each person. We tried to do it with just one to share between the two of us and it just didnt work very well. The artifacts are breathtaking if you are a Titanic buff like I am. Some of the stories are heartbreaking but the exhibit is well put together and easy to spend a couple of hours wandering through. Dont rush yourself!
This museum is fantastic for any fan of the Titanic or any History Buff. They make the exhibition interactive by providing each visitor with a ticket giving them a name and history of a person who really traveled on the Titanic. At the end of the Exhibition you get to see if the person you are survived or died. Having these tickets really gets you into the spirit of the exhibition. My husband and I were two different classes (second and third) so we were looking at all the artifacts for each class. My sister and her husband did the same. It was exciting because we all ended up in different classes, so we discovered how each class lived during their time on the ship.
Went for my birthday. Ive always liked the Titanic story. Very cool and informative. Lots of personal belongings with stories of the people. The big piece was quite large in person but so tiny in comparison to the ship. Took me and wife about 2 hours. We read all the info available and all the items. I recommend this to people. You also get a boarding pass of actual person that was on ship. At end you can see if your a survivor or perished. I myself perished but my wife was a survivor.
Beautiful, I love that its kind of like a scavenger hunt.. finding out if you survived or not at the end.. and the exact replica of the staircase & the outdoor.. made me feel like I was there on three titanic !! just hate I COULDNT TAKE PICTURESS!
Super detailed. Went to one in Chicago about 20 years ago and I love the expansion. Take your time to fully enjoy the experience and history.
Great exhibit but no photos or video allowed.
This exhibition gives you an accurate perception of what really happened on the Titanic. You must experience it for yourself. FYI, if you are staying at the Excalibur or Luxor you can get a discount at the desk where you purchase the tickets for the exhibition.
Educational, interesting, actual real remnants.
Very cool experience. Great presentation and the audio and lighting really add to the atmosphere. Highly recommend.
It was amazing being able to see real artifacts rescued from the ship its is totally worth it to go
This was an excellent exhibit, one of the best in Vegas. I love how they blend elements of the movie and real life to create an immersive experience and makes you feel as if you are actually on the most famous boat in history. Low points include the price and that I think it doesnt match the theme of the Luxor.
The stories and the artifacts make this exhibit a must-see. There is even a piece of the Titanic available to view. This is a self-guided exhibit that will take a couple of hours to go through. Gift shop is reasonable as well.
Cool artifacts and lots of information
The museum was full of really cool artifacts...was well worth the money!
Will take your breath away. A truly unmatched experience for those interested in the history, and the lives of those who were on the Titanic. This is a must see.
What a great view of a historic event. Well worth the visit
Very nice. Only way it could have been better, is if photo taking were allowed.
Wow. This exhibit was incredible. Didnt have high exceptions, but was very impressed with the work they had done. They do a fantastic job of making you feel like youre part of the Titanic experience. From recovered artifacts to huge parts of the ship that have been recovered. Very impressive.
Great show highly recommend
Amazing! If you have time do yourself a favor and walk through. It’s breathe taking to see the items that were once on the ship. And the stories of the people on the ship were a wonderful read!
The fact that you cant take photos seems very strange and takes away from the experience. theres nothing there that you wouldnt see at other museums for the titanic. There is a large chunk of the side wall that would not be found in other places. I did find it pricey for such a small museum. When taking the photo ops they are un professional and dont take professional photos.
Lots of artifacts to look. Decently priced. A lot bigger than you would think it is. Expect to spend at least an hour looking at everything.
Incredibly moving experience. All the for this exhibit!!!
This exhibition is worth the price of the ticket. The curators went out of their way to help the participant experience being a passenger or crew member of the fated vessel. You travel through the joy of boarding one of the great feats of modern (1911) engineering through the pomp and circumstance of class stratification, into the forbidding deadly cold of the North Atlantic, and the price we pay (in lives) for hubris. They have a gigantic preserved piece of the starboard hull on display. Its about 25 feet tall (about 8 meters.) It is no doubt the crowning piece of the whole exhibit and for good reason.Titanic is a cautionary tale. Never assume mankinds creations is greater than nature. Our tendency to puff ourselves up with arrogant pride makes us our own worst enemy.
Its very humbling. To see the portholes they looked out, and an actual piece of the ship. All the names of the people who were affected by this tragedy on the wall you can see their stories and if they made it or passed. A definite must see
Awesome experience was longer than expected would definitely go back
Excellent experience. A must do!
This was a great exibit. Never knew they had actual raised part of the Titanic. But they actualy have a large chuck of the outer hull. Ive also been to the Titanic museum in Belfast And this exibit is just as amazing. A must see. Great for kids
Very interesting exhibit...enjoyed all the items on display
This was on my to see list for Vegas, and even though its a little pricey, if youre interested in the Titanic its worth seeing. My husband and I really enjoyed getting to be a passenger and finding out whether you lived or died at the end. The recreations of the staircase and the cabins were really neat, but my favorite was seeing part of the hull at the end. I would go back, I thought this was awesome.
Really great experience and fun. A must see.
Awesome setting and great way to learn the history
It was a great experience to go to, to see all the artifacts and to see the big piece which we didnt know anything about. We spent hours looking at all the information, and reading everything, spending time to take everything in. Many people did walk past just glancing at pieces and walking through quickly, we wanted to pay more attention as I dont think it pays much respect to the people who died. Anyway, it is a must see, definitely worth the money, and time. There is only so many artifacts around so it may be a once in a lifetime experience for people.
Well not a big Titanic fan per se, went with the family to check it out. The most impressive components were the full-scale replica of one of the rooms on the ship and the giant piece of the actual hole that was dredged from the wreckage. Hard not to learn something by visiting.
Absolutely fascinating!
