Comfy and clean place walk my dogs. We enjoyed the jog track and pet area. Wish there were work out stations. And a basketball court.
Went to Molasky Family Park today for a neighbors sons birthday party. Had a good time. Its been a couple of years since Ive been back to this park. New fence surrounding park makes it look like a prison yard, but feels a little safer because people can only enter park at designated gates. They cannot sneak up on you from behind a tree.
I used to live not too far from this park in 2018. On trips to Vons, Id walk thru this park. Yes homeless are there, but they never bothered me. In fact, many people would find rest in the park & I am unaware of any harm done to anyone sleeping in this park. Its a real chill park from my experience. Not saying its the best, but definitely not the worse from my experience. Ive seen people with kids resting in this park, so that lets you know the homeless problem in Las Vegas is serious.
Beautiful park a doggie play area. I like to take my little guy early in the morning. People are so full of life and ambition first thing in the morning. Cant really see it to clearly in the photos but there were 2 flocks of geese there. It was just a beautiful sight watching them fly in as the sun was rising. It just doesnt get much better then that.
I feel so unwelcome in #LasVegasAs someone who struggles with severe agoraphobia and anxiety...parks are the only thing I enjoy. The security guard at Molasky family Park was so verbally abusive and hostile I don’t want to ever go back. I don’t feel safe
Took my kids to this park was some homeless people but the playground was FUN my kids had fun and it was Peaceful.
Its perfect.its for families to enjoy, plus its always Beautiful outside.
I dont recommend this park. It is definitely safe for children!!
Nice to enjoy nature in. Needs reinnovation.
They spent all lockdown fixing what? The 3 stars is for the fence.
All I see on here are complaints about homeless people except for the ones that go here specifically to feed or help the homeless people which I think is amazing. From what I hear on here the playground area is already unsafe for children.. and there are SEVERAL parks in Las Vegas so go somewhere else.. What is wrong with some homeless people finding a safe place to lay their head other than just being out on the streets? And for the most part it looks like they dont bother anyone so why do we have to bother them? And I am sure that they already feel very uncomfortable as it is so why make them feel even more uncomfortable obviously anyone on here has no idea what it feels like to be homeless they try putting your self in the shoes of the homeless and think about how you would feel about all these people saying all these negative things about you. Now I dont agree Waze leaving syringes all over the park that is disgusting and that should be picked up responsibly but other than that leave the homeless people alone especially if they arent hurting anyone too bad if they are an eyesore for you go somewhere else then! And to the people that go here just to help the homeless by any means of feeding or vaccinations or anything thank you you are amazing!
Better than it used to be.
We were passing by on our way to California, and thought itd be nice to stop by a park a little off the beaten path. Came on a Saturday during the day and the whole place was filled with homeless, and the park is filthy.I had to remove dirty clothes from the bottom of the slide so my son could slide down. There were used cigarettes in every crevice, trash left everywhere, and equipment on the playground that were broken.Luckily the homeless who were there were quite friendly, but its still not a place Id feel comfortable letting my kids play at by themselves. This place has the potential to be so much more than it is now, but itll need a lot of TLC to get there.
By far one of the worst and scary parks Ive been to. We wanted to take my dogs to a new park but we immediately got back in the car after taking a few step in and left. There was group of guys making comments, yelling out at us just a few seconds after walking in, completely dirty from what I saw with the short amount of time I was there.
Played with the kids there are a lot of homeless people i feel bad for them
No parking, cannot access park from the parking lot near the shops because the gate there is locked.
If youre homeless, its the place to be. most homeless people here are super nice. I work with the health district so going out here for outreach and providing vaccines is nice cause the community is very thankful. idk how it is at night but just be safe. probably not recommended for kids I think. uh and always bring a buddy.
Nice park lovely environment
Too many homeless folks and drug activity
They put up a huge gate around it
This park is like a microcosm of Las Vegas. From the outside it looks very beautiful, but look closer and you can see the signs of wear and tear. There is a playground and a splash pad, that works sometimes. Dig deeper and you can see throngs of homeless people pushed off to the edges struggling to find some sense of safety and community. They keep to themselves, but that doesnt stop others from harassing them.
This place would be a nice park if they could get the homeless out. They have taken over the park. Completely. Theres clothes and bedding under all the sit down areas. And they use the bathroom for drugs. And the play area for bathroom.
Its a good place for kids & family to go play or hang out, But theres homeless people living there and then right now is under construction.
Look nice security
Nice size n has dog area aplenty for the family with Vons next door.
Great Picnic Park. Seen homeless people getting down
Nice park but dozens of homeless camped out there. Restroom bldg. Lockedand portables overflowing and terrible
Great water play. Nice big dog area. Nice walking track. But way too many homeless. Playcenters always has someone sleeping up in there. If u a local homeless this is the spot to be.
The homeless have taken it over although they are nice and dont bother anyone. My only issue is Ive been picking up and throwing away heroin needles I find in the grass. I remember when this park was built it was beautiful. But the county seems to have given up on maintaining it besides the bare minimum
Its good
Nearby with a small water park and fenced in dog run..
Small, no water sprinkler as depicted in pics
Put together well. Safe place to stop on the road.
Nice park if you go at the right time. Today was certainly the right timeWent with someone whose opinion and advice I trust. I needed to bounce a few things off her, and lucky me, shes not a yes parrot. Shes not a hateful magpie. No eye-plucking, no worm-eating.Las Vegas has a significant homeless population. Molasky is sometimes a popular day center. No big whoop, its a public park. Sometime theres more conflict than I enjoy, police intervention is a nice inverse proxy for a visit I enjoy. If youre in Vegas, take a look at Molasky Park, even if youve decided there are other places. This ones good again.
Most of the playground equipment is in disrepair. Pot holes on the play area trippinh kids.
It was not to great, its on the far side of town in a bad neighborhood not very clean tons of people are in the bathrooms doing drugs bathrooms are dirty I wouldnt recommend taking your kids there the water is on and clean which is a good thing but so many homeless people are aroundto where its not worth the hassle or the headache of going there... 2 out of 5 stars
Alot of drugs and homless people in the park
Its LITERALLY turned into a HOMELESS.PARK!!!I simply dont understand this!! PARKS & RECREATION just somewhat clean AROUND THIS MESS!..and something EXTREMELY AWFUL has to happen in the areas of the homeless to induce LAW ENFORCEMENT in making them leave!!! After a few weeks they simply return. It looks SOooooo bad on Katie Ave.
This park is a disappointment and you should never let your children play here even if you are with them. There are homeless people everywhere. They camp in all of the picnic areas and the restrooms. They bathe in the kiddie water park. There were 2 shootings at the Vons next to it in a week. Not to mention it is full of sexual predators. Send the police here and get rid of all of them.
Had a blast thank for thanksgiving dinner & a happy park
Its disgusting. Trash littered everywhere! Its DANGEROUS! Not a family park. Its infested with homeless people drinking and using drugs out in the open and leaving their paraphernalia and dirty needles everywhere. The grass is long and course where the dirty needles get stuck. OUR KIDS ARE NOT SAFE PLAYING AT THIS PARK! DO NOT BRING THEM HERE PLEASE.
Cool setup grills and place to eat and shower
Thx
My Church The Balm of Gilead on Twain and Swenson donated dinners to the homeless today. Thank you God for the opportunity to give.
It is the homeless park I share food hygiene products and I help so many get out the park. I work it monthly. Not a place for kids. Its the homeless park. If you want to help by feeding some people please come by. So many out here homeless. I provide bus pass for 3 and help them get a job. I also bring them water in the summer time. God help us All. The State needs to help theese people not turn the water on so they cant sleep in there tents. Shame on Nevada Park Rangers. Dont forget God said help the homeless.
Needs a more regular cleaning, we tried to pickup trash and glass. The water feature is awesome and the playgrounds are great. There is a large grassy area too and for Vegas, this awesome. Just wish the homeless in the area had some respect for the kids and could use one of the over 15 trashcans there to actually put trash in.
Cute play area, and people really try and keep it clean but there are lots of people drinking and smoking weed right in the toddler playground. People like to shower and wash clothes in the kids splash pad even during the day and while kids are using it. There was a naked guy showering one afternoon in the kids splash pad right where two young kids were playing. He was asked to leave, but the park has been taken over by adults who want to get high and drink.
It is a good place to bring the kids & your dogs. Also there are grills at almost all the gazebos so it is perfect if you are wanting to have a cook-out.
Gross. This places is falling apart and full of garbage. Looked like someone was living in the playground equipment.. they were sleeping on it at 1 in the afternoon and had a laundry basket full of stuff. I dont think they will be leaving anytime soon.
When we were there it was clean. There is lots of open space
Wonderful if youre a drugdealer.
Car got stolen. Police found car there. Lots of drug addicts. I feel so bad for the kids there. If I could give this park a 0 I would. I dont feel like I have to say anymore.
If I could give it no stars I would... homeless people everywhere that like to be mouthy. The park itself was small and smelled of piss. The dog park area itself was home to alot of homeless and thier dogs. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to take you furry friends. For your sake and theirs.
If i knew this park was this bad I would not have went people lighting trash cans on fire in front of lil kids firemen had to come
Lerner and Rowe Turkey Giveaway...one person would hold a place in line, then right before the giveaway would start, 20 or more would show up. Not happening on my watch
I have to be honest about this park it would be an awesome park if it wasnt for the people that hung out in it
I. Love this park it is a normally quite place with my daughter and old friends and other familys... I enjoy the time I spend with all the other people and their families and fur babies, they normally are nice and have a great deal to talk about, most are regulars that have gotten to understand that life is so much more than just money and things, its a freedom to soke up the sun and relax for a bit and understand that people are people nomatter what the surcomstances are and all of the actions of the few are not as important as the actons of the actions of rest. sometimes people seem to be in a hurry to make life seem short in reality it is very long with much knowledge and experiences to share with each other...
Dont take ur children to this park. Nothing but homeless drug addicts sleeping on the benches and slides. Children cant even play.
Hostile security guards
Nice
A lot of homeless people at the park. Yet, the restrooms were locked. Two port-a-potties were there. But, one had someone sleeping in it, I guess. And the other was being used for drug deals.
No comment. Just be careful, hoping the cops clean the place up for the sake of the children. Very sad
I went for a walk in the park and i was really upset. There was a large number of homeless people (which normally doesnt bother me) smoking illegal drugs in plain sight. The smell of the whole park was nasty. If it were to be cleaned it wouldnt be bad at all it has a good walking path and play grounds but its not something i would feel comforatable bringing my son to as it is now
Great and safe place has little bit of a homeless problem.they sleep in the table/barbeque areas but other then that great place
Its onthe corner of Cambridge and Twain. Just head west down Twain from the Boulevard Mall off Maryland Parkway, its on the left side. Features jungle gyms, swings, picnic tables, off leash dog area with trees and the occasional homeless. Nice little Park
So sad that the city has let this park be over ran with trash, homeless, and addicts. Not one table not lived on no one play ground area not slept in by adult men. Its horrible so so horrible and I fear for the kids that go there alone there was a man laying with his pants almost completely down. Clean up our parks keep the kids out of trouble man!!
Very dirty park with lots of transients live in it. A lot of drug activity and violence, avoid at all cost!
Its cool except the bums like to decorate everything with garbage
I hate this park and its a very disgusting and dangerous park. You have tons of homeless people sleeping and camping here, most of them that have dogs just have them unleashed. The bathrooms are just absolutely filthy, there are heroin needles in the floor, poo on the toilet seats and it smells very bad. The bathrooms also have alot of bugs. If you come here at a wrong time you can find gang affiliated meetups and even minors smoking weed on this park. A bunch if middle school fights break out in this park. The park is also very dirty and vandilised.
Unfortunately there is a huge homeless community here. During the time I was there it wasnt very family like at all. I wouldnt recommend it.
Fun play area for kids, lots of open space for playing, separate dog playground, and a delightful water play area. Lots of shady picnic spaces, well separated for a sense of privacy. Yes, there are grills, and plenty of trashcans. Having a Vons next door means easy access for anything forgotten for the picnic.
Very poor park. I did not feel safe here at all. There were homeless and poor people everywhere. The bathrooms literally had signs that said to Use at your own risk.Be very careful here. Dont come here at night.
Neat little park...sad that theres a lot of homeless people
Dirty and full of homeless. City needs to take care of this problem or just get rid of park.
We feed the homeless, and give clothes and jackets at this park. Every first Sunday. Its called, Operation bring your Best.
Bumssssss do not bring your children here theres lots of things that are lots of jokes everywhere I was walking through there and there was crack pipes on the floor too very very bad place
Thay need fix the park soon.
My first time here I was there for their free turkeys. Looks like there could be a lot of homeless people here. I saw belongs in shopping carts and bedding on the grounds. Not sure what it looks like on a daily basis, but it was a good day chilling with many others.
This park is full of homeless people and drugs it would be a nice place to take the kids if there werent people sleeping in the playground and tables.
Highkey if you wanna see bums lay down go for it if not go find another place to take your children because the grass is dead and every homless person lives in the park
The playground equipment is dirty and theres a lot of homeless people hanging around
Very friendly and family oriented place. Nice place to meet people.
Homeless people and dogs everywhere would not suggest to take any kids there!!
The homeless have taken over the park, cant use the gazebo areas because the homeless have set up camps at each one. Everytime you walk by the bathrooms someone is in there smoking crack. Not a great place for kids. You can find needle caps in the grass. I hate this park
This were the homeless and down on luck people live. I did not visit, but my cousin lives across the street from it.
Not bad day time
I brought my dogs with me for a Vegas family trip last week and so I had to find a park to take them to. I read some sketchy reviews of this park, but figured it would be ok for one or two times. I was wrong! This park was so dirty, filled with trash, and the dog park itself was filled with dog poop. The large dog park was easily the grossest dog park Ive ever been in.Lots of the negative reviews I read were focused on how the other parts of the park have homeless people but my review is just about the dog park.
Dirty, hot and poor sanitation. Look like people live there.
Its okay but the neighborhood is kinda bad
I like taking my daughter their, its very close to my apartment. How ever this park is not good to be in at night. People and teens have been fighting and stabbing each other. And this park does not feel as safe as it should be for the kids. Plus some of the slides are broken.
Once a month we feed the homeless at this park
Clean and green great location
Dirty, restrrooms are nasty! This place dont look safe!
I stop running in its cushioned trail because a guy was shoot till he stop breathing, very dangerous place.
Okay I was waiting on this do not I repeat do not leave your child unattended in this park bums and drug using everywhere not enough police presence its very dangerous I literally saw a female smoking drugs inside the park while my child was several feet away. Not a good place go at your own risk.
Well... In the day time, it was nice and calm. People walking, children playing. We only stayed about an hour and a half. They do have walking trails, water park, volleyball court. At least 5 Picnic tables with gazebo type covering. Barbecue pits, two children play structures. Parking was different, I parked in Vons supermarket parking lot which has an opening to get into park. A few loud people but it is a park, so thats to be expected.
I like it, because it has a walking/running path. Theres a small dog area as well. There is a ton, of homeless people. Its almost impossible, to have a picnic on the tables. The homeless people, sit or lay down in those tables, 24hrs a day. A lot of them drink beer and do drugs right out in the open. I wouldnt feel safe, going there at night. Only reason why I gave two stars, is only because it does have a walking/running path. There needs to be a way, to curb the homeless issue there. Theres also those small park, barbeques there as well, so thats another plus. However if you do grill, I guareentee you wont be able to use the tables and benches.
