The wackest place Ive ever been in my life absolutely terrible somebody stole something from me

Definitely a good place to stay. Its not luxurious, but the restrooms are clean with hot water, the people are friendly, and its pretty quiet most of the time. Its a very nice and inexpensive campground.

I will recommend American RV camp ground to all my family and friends. The park is clean and well maintained. Everyone here are awesome people . They dont bother you unless you get out of hand that is. So if you are looking for someplace to camp out either in an RV or in a tent this is your spot. Once you camp here I promise you will definitely come back here every time. Keep up the great place American RV you guys are the best .

It’s a good place to just relax, people here are nice and friendly and management seems to be great I been trying to get here for a week and finally got my spot it’s comfortable affordable and can’t complain even that I got a few issues but quickly resolved by management thank you guys keep it up

I stored my RV and tow car there for a month. Good price. Not fancy at all, but did the trick.

This is a gorgeous place! Its my second time here and every time all the staff is so nice and willing to help. Special thanks and credit goes to Lisa - sweet, caring and humorous lady who has kindly checked us in after-hours and provided everything we might have needed.Talking about the place itself, the territory is clean, secured with a fence and a gate, has showers with a hot water, Wi-Fi and BBQ grills. What else may you need?

Im currently trying toRent a spot in there tent area but theyve refused me and my fiance because we have too much belonging...I have been here once before with no problems with how much property I have with me. But to be denied that I have to many things on me is unbelievable, I cant take my property to storage space because they are closed AND I have explained that all of property would be taken to MY storage unit..So I have no idea what to do...everything would be inside the tent area and not on the grounds, so this is outrageous to be shunned for having too much belonging...I deeply dissatisfied with the way were being treated on this fixable situation if they were a little bit more understanding that were not mobile and cant get anything done until the morning anyways!

Easy on the wallet, quiet except for traffic. Love the various air craft of all makes and models that fly over. Love the horse power.

Groundskeeper woman manager here is not nice very rude doesnt like your guests wont let them stay if they wanted to stay and visit for a while give him a hard time if they are there would not advise staying here

Criminals ..!!!! I will put it this way anytime the lead manager lies to the police about a major robbery that was supposed to have happened in the office ..then turns around in court an say not once but twice there has been no robbery at the office or anywhere else on the property ...I will leave it up to you to decide .. good luck and godspeed if u stay there u do at your own risk.

The manager is like top notch security & should remember that sometimes someone who is disabled needs more time to get out of there vehicle.

Their positive reviews come from people that are employed there. Office hours are supposed to be 9 to 5, but always late and refuse to answer phones all day long. I have had nothing but problems since I moved in. They will not fix anything. I was promised when I moved in that everything would be fixed, but it is not. Been here 6 months still no central air or heat and no plumbing. When I call owner she claims maintenance showed my husband how to fix toilet, but that is not true. Every month they want us to stick hose down toilet to make it go down. Gets completely full and wants us to live in our waste. The hose trick does not always work. So most the time we have no bathroom. Owner is rude and sells RVs that do not work and for triple what they are worth. Very trashy place, so try to avoid.

Called them to ask questions about the park since the Hitchin Post only allows two people and i have more than two people in my family so the said we can call this place. after that phone call i wouldnt stay here. i asked what all parks are around and the lady just laughed and gave me a sarcastic answer as well as saying why would i recommend a different camp site...well someone told me about you maybe you shouldnt be a stuck up B**** and people would rate your place a little better!

The price is cheap and its safe and secure for staying in a tent.

The lady who runs this place is very disrespectful and likes to make sure that everyone else nearby can hear her. She isnt fooling anyone except herself and any person with mental problems. If you stand up for yourself and tell her to talk with respect, she will adjust her attitude and seem pleasent. She is not a bad person, just very serious about running the buisness. Yes I would recommend this campground to anyone.

We live here long and we raise nice Kids of mine, its quite and some tenants stay for vacation,some tenants stay and go.

Rent is fairly cheap friendly people and close to shopping centers and that you are not to far the fremont Street experience. I live here for almost 3 years i love it here thank you American campgrounds.

Great location if youre facing the redicuous conversion or 10 year rules. But space is limited. Id give it 5 stars if there was a pool and the bathrooms were a bit more modernised. But all in all, no real complaints.

Its secured by coded gate, bathroom and laundry facilities, small dogs allowed and I have 2. They werent concerned with the age of my rig and they are reasonable price. When we reported problem with electric pole they had someone to take care of it next day

It felt just like grandmas house. I stayed for 2 months, but I never wanted to leave. They took care of my every need and more. I miss everything about it. For me, people were too quiet and they went to sleep way too early. No late night parties in Vegas?? But if safety, tranquility, friendly neighbors, and a great staff is what youre after, its perfect. I never got the fire pits working, but Im sure it was user error because everything else was very well maintained. It would have been nice to have wifi at the trailer, but there was great cable TV and wifi near the office. The bathrooms were campground bathrooms - creaky wooden stalls, concrete floors and could have used a hose-down, but they never ran out of hot water, there was never any wait and the concrete showers were good size, clean and had superior water pressure. Im definitely coming back for a visit! GLAMPERS WELCOME!!

Its been over three years since i been there and i injoyed every day i was there and i would go back there to visite every one there from the owner down was the funest people to be around

Bad, bad place. The office workers are rude. We got griped out the second we got here because we didnt call ahead of time. I was told my kids cant play with their basketball in the play area because it might break their fountain. This foundation is broken and has moldy nasty water in it and doesnt run. There are drugs here, one needle was found in the playground by the swing set and one right outside the play area (found by me). And there was vandalism done to one of the guys truck that was with us. Do not stay here if possible.

I wish I could give it negative stars. The staff evicted my friend unjustly because they wanted her ford for a work truck. Since then theyve painted it black and only drive it on property. Because they arent legal owners. Thats just one of the many illegal things that happen here. They are way too nosy, and just awfull people all around. If you can avoid it stay far away.

Its full of homeless people going in at any time of the day and night. Its not clean and the bathrooms are so disgusting. Theres 2 maintance guys one seems to do all the work which is nothing cause its still dirty and broken and the other just stands around. If your spending one night its ok but anything longer is not worth it. Its expensive, dirty and not safe at all. You can see people jumping the fence to get in right in front of the manager and she wont say anything. Very poorly managed and not at all professional. This property needs a makeover and new staff not a kid running the office thats horrible.

A great place to find excellent accommodations when visiting or just passing through Las Vegas.Tent camping sites, RV hookups and overnight lodging in RVs, like hotel/motel type lodging; daily, weekly and monthly rates for RV hookups; tent camping is limited to two weeks at a time.GREAT PRICES with hot showers, close to food stores and restaurants. Major bus service just off campground property servicing Las Vegas Strip and Casinos.

Love atmosphere with people

Non-stop road noise (Las Vegas Blvd N). Shady area (and I do not mean tree shady), no wifi that could reach our designated spot, questionable ladies shower room, one shower only for men (under construction but we saw no active signs of any work being done), advertised cable but one kids station was all that was available. Price was commensurate with what you get, I suppose. This was closest available spot to Las Vegas Motor Speedway, but Id advise driving further for a nicer park.

Well taken care of, friendly understanding staff, very well priced with decent amenities, close to lots of shopping and fast food, gated for security, right on a bus stop for easy transportation if you dont have a car, stayed 6 months and didnt have a single bit of trouble - maintenance man always came immediately if i had a problem or just needed help - the free WiFi was pretty fire too - and the laundry room was cheaper than the two closest laundry mats - they also have very nice communal shower / restrooms, nothing overly fancy but theyre cleaned daily and get the job done - cable is also included, but i never asked for a box because the antenna got about 50 channels, most of them goodif you read a bad review, Im sure its from someone who got kicked out for a reason, they have no tolerance for riffraff or troublemakers, in the six months we lived there they kicked out a few people that were causing troubleall in all, if we ever make back that way either to live or just visit, this is where i intend to stay

The staff isnt friendly by no means and the restrooms are not clean theres mold inside the showers, its constant maitnance on the washers and dryers. The property manager is a scammer and user of this campground and of the owners, Im sure they dont know half of what goes on there. When I bought my first storage unit, l brought the contents here to go through it so I can sell it at the Swap Meet, everything brought here is outside my unit in my yard but the property manager stopped by and told me I couldnt have it here and then said she was going to kick me out the next time it happened. I told her that that was my job and she said she didnt care, ever since then shes been on me about any kind of stuff in the yard no matter what it was when there is clearly other people that have worst yards other than mine, like a ladys yard whom works for the office and it is one of the worst!!!!. My girlfriend was a tenant there & was a week late on her rent, the property manager had it pulled off w/no warnings, cut her lock off the door so the pound could come in and take her animals. When the trailer was moved off the property they didnt put the slide outs in which also bent the frame. It cost her $300 to get it out of jail, the dogs & birds are over 2000, so she has lost her birds! The property manager then had all of her stuff removed from the yard & put over on the side of thier building for everybody to go through. I was trying to help her by letting her stay with me till she could come up with the money, they then refused to take my rent money & told me that I had 2 days to move. Then said that if we went back there wed be caught & charged with trespassing. Shes done this with numerous people as you can see in reviews. Theres a few people that have had the same thing done to them. I dont know why or how she gets away with this but she needs to be stopped & fired as property manager along with her daughter whom also works there. The other lady (with the worst yard ever) is a very rude person & has no business being at all with customers. Warnings.... Stay clear of this unhealthy place.

Stay away from this location. There is NO customer service. They do not like normal working people. Not all of us are bums. We enjoyed our stay until we were told we had an hour to pack up our tent and leave. Just as we had our car all packed, 2 cruisers show up with 4 cops. Said they got a call we werent leaving. Ummmm do you see us almost packed? Misdemeanor trespass warning???? Huh? Unbelievable. We paid, have proof but office says no. This campground has obviously had issues in the past. They did not come through with room we were going to rent. When you call the office they either dont answer or yell and hang up on you. Stay away for your own good. Girlfriend beaters work there too and everyone turns a blind eye. Pretty sad. Never dealt with a business like this one. Good luck and good riddens. You did us a favor

IT IS TOO EASY...Look at all the 5 star reviews. Each 5 STAR post says they are a LOCAL GUIDE. WHAT IS A LOCAL GUIDE AND WHY DO THEY ALL LIVE AT AMERICAN CAMPGRAOUND????? Because its them! They dont even hide padding their reviews with their lies well!!!!I CAN GUARANTEE THE THE POSITIVE REVIEWS FOR THIS PLACE ARE BOGUS! Definitely AVOID this place. I reserved a spot for my 42 5th wheel for a monthly stay. They required me to fill out a form for a background check. Daily and weekly stays, no background check necessary. Made no sense to me but this is high season in Vegas and places with monthly availability are hard to find. I sent the filled forms back and called the next day for them to confirm that they received my background check forms. They confirmed. I drove my 42 5tyugih wheel 1400 miles from Houston for them to tell me that they never received the forms and cannot allow me in the space I reserved. The space was still apparantly empty, but because they didnt process my background check, they refused to let me in to my reserved spot. I tried to call before arriving and they never answered. At the desk, she explained that they just got a new phone and she didnt know how to turn it on!They were fully aware that there were no other local RV lots in town. They were also aware that I am a retired war veteran. The manager glared at me as I complained and told me to leave.VETERANS...... avoid this place on principle alone.Anyone else good luck!

Needed a safe place to park for one night, dump the tanks, and take a shower. The check in process was slow but not out of the ordinary. Mentioned that we had a van style RV and the lady said park in #8 which I did. Quickly hooked up the power and left to attend a wedding. When I got back a few hours later I noticed that the sewer connection was a foot off the ground in a planter with grass. Our van style RV was low to the ground and could not connect. I tried calling the office and only got voicemail. The office was closed at this point. The extra dump station behind the office on the map she handed us was non existent and covered over. There were several weird people walking around the campground and quietly watching us. About ten people were lined up at the bathroom I would guess to take a shower. Several cats were roaming about. A couple dogs were barking non stop behind us. The whole place creeped us out so we unhooked the power and left that night. So for $26 I got a few hours of power and memories of a poorly run RV park. With tanks almost full and no shower, we drove over to Camping World across town and had a wonderful peaceful night for free.

Does evictions outside the rules set forth by the state of Nevada..is allowed to use self help evictions even though landlords r prohibited ..will allow your mail.to be stolen..an acts like u r in the wrong for being upset ...if they dont like your friends or if your man looks good u will be kicked out but he can stay ...aa long as he handles his business ..beware..other then that its a nice place to live..

Hmm... funny. I go there to get a camp site for a week. And I have a service dog and they refuse to service me . So I called 911 they said Sue them for everything . But they cant force anyone . So the night got late . And the campground ended up ranting me a RV lot. They said dog are OK just not on the grass where people rent at it not ranting a lot . It nice there . I thank you

Amazing park which is fully gated and secured and lots of amenities! The property manager Tammy and the entire staff is very friendly. This is a place you feel like calling home!

Arrived late and called. Charles showed us to our tent site. Fast friendly service. Secure and very affordable. Would stay there again.

I stayed here in the spring and fall. Quiet, clean and the staff was very friendly/helpful. Very convient location. Will definitely be back but not with the Carnival this time. Looking forward to visiting and seeing what you have for rent.

Memorial Day here was the worst drug addicts coming to your camp to borrow anything they can get while casing all your stuff. Permanent tenants beating their wives and no one doing anything. We tried to help and their neighbor threatened my son and I with a gun and said she asked for it and we better leave or he will shoot us and then when security finally showed up he threatened to throw us out and told the police that we called the man did not have a gun yet he let the man leave to hide the gun before the police showed up. Please stay in a hotel a good hotel for your safety this town belongs to the criminals and no one cares. NO CAMPING IN VEGAS

I am a retired U.S. Naval Special Warfare Veteran living at Veterans Village on Las Vegas Blvd been here for 6 months paying 650.00 a month for a hotel room I am now going to CSN in Henderson and called today about renting an R.V. as a Warrior for 18 years ina coma 2 yrs want the outdoors away from the strip life its not Me, I called today about renting an RV or campsite and talked to Rachel. Wow i was amazed on how nice She was listened to My story told Me what I wanted to hear, and at the end of the conversation told Me to have a great day. I felt like i was back in Kentucky where i am from so Great Job!!!! I am excited to Rent a space from this campground all tourists looking should do the same 5 stars Michael

I just got off the phone with the manager and she told me that she would not facilitate my rvRV a my family I have a six-week-old a two-year-old in a 5 year old I have a job and I have nowhere to put my RV she said she will not let me stay because I will not be using their electricity on my RV God bless me oh yeah right I hope I find somewhere else to stay great good job manager seems like youre a very bad person

Wow, a $10 deposit for the bathroom key? They only take cash? Then its $14 for 1 person and $21 for 2 and they have NO CHANGE? I gave it an extra star because the bathroom was clean.

WOW, I thought it was just us....but NO....The review about the Thieving, Lying Slumlord that tells you that you owe more money than you do, then confiscates your RV with a 24 Hr Eviction, I can Guarantee that happens, as it happened to us in 2004. We bought our 5th Wheel from them, paid cash in full, only to have it stolen back from us a couple months later on some made up Bullshit because we wouldnt Give our car the the Maintenance Man who wanted it. He told us, if we didnt let him have our car, hed make sure we got kicked out. The next morning, we were called to the office and told to leave with their BS 24 Hr Notice to vacate. We were told we would be breaking the law if we tried to leave with our RV, because they had placed a lean on it for non-payment (despite that I had receipts, and also worked in the office. We moved out what we could, but lost SO Very Much personal property, despite the fact that we packed and moved all night long. I can say, this was one of the worst experiences of our lives, and I for one, am glad we left, honestly, they did us a favor.

Unfortunately I have to deal with slumlord RV park owners/managers regularly because of the type of RV I have. This place though was by far the worst. Sooo bad I dont even know where to begin. The bugs? The tweakers? Maybe that cockroach that held me up on the way to the bathroom? Or shall I start with how they try to steal peoples RVs out from under-them with unlawful evictions?Lets start with bugs. When we moved in Tammy (the horrible bully slumlord who runs the place) claimed they did not have any bug problems. That vary night i saw 1000s of cockroaches all over the park. They also have a seriously bad bedbug problem. We have never had bug problems in our RV until staying here. We had to spend 1000s combating bedbugs. It was determined over time that they were definitely coming in from the RV park itself. Unless you want some serious bug problems do not stay here!!!Many things have been slapped together haphazardly by the two drunks who supposedly do maintenance around there. Be careful plugging into their electric boxes many of them are broken and not wired properly. High risk of electrocution and/or catching your coach on fire.The place is over all filthy. In every RV park i stay long term I do what I call the bathroom test. I leave something in the bathroom, small, unnoticeable, but yet should be gone if anyone were to clean in even the slightest amount. For MONTHS the test object sat undisturbed. GROSS!!The area of Las Vegas is pretty bad and the tweakers and drunks roaming all over are a problem. Sure this park has a gate now, SO? the people you do not want in just sit and wait for a car to go in and they are in. Dont let the gate fool you into thinking you have any sort of protection! And honestly the worst thief of them all is already in the park!My understanding is we are not the first people to run into such a problem with Tammy and The American Camp Ground RV Park. They apparently are notorious for putting 24 hour tow stickers on peoples RVs and if you are unable to do anything about it they will tow your RV into their little storage yard which is full of RVs they have stolen from people over the years. No that is not a legal method of eviction. RV Parks must adhere to the same rules as a mobile home park which requires the same method of eviction process as an apartment. They will make outrageous claims that you owe them more then you do! Even if you have the receipts to prove otherwise! They are prime examples of slumlords. We had moved in the end of May 2014, In July we ran into some problems and asked for a small reprieve on our rent, not to not have to pay it but just a few days to get the money together. Tammy said sure ill help you. What did she do? She moved us to more expensive weekly payments. Ummm that helps how? At the same time all the while we are throwing money at a bug problem we got from your park? We owed 375 and were willing to pay that but Tammy tried to claim we had not paid several weeks that we in fact had! I am still holding the receipts in my hand, claiming we owed over $600. We are seeking legal action against the park but slumlords like that always seem to be able to skip out of any responsibility. Just look at the park.... its disgusting! Far better RV parks in Vegas folks! Cheaper even! I would not rent here again even if it was the only place on earth! Run by a thieving liar slumlord!!!

I was thinking of moving to Vegas and going to use this to stay there lady was like really arrogant if you wasnt rich and had like a million-dollar motorhome you were working class she kind of talk to you and dealt with you like you were white trash I guess they dont like the working class there
