Played this course few years ago with some friends. Lots of fun with 2 groups. Very accommodating staff and fun time had by all. You can imagine that many tourists come through just to have fun and the staff completely understands that. The course was ok.. dry... not overly challenging, but perfect for a getaway from the strip with a some friends.

I had friends in town and we decided to play this track. It was easily the worst experience Ive ever had on a golf course. They were behind on the tee times and our 12:00 time ended up going off at 12:35. Took six hours! The course was $120 for non-residents and it was by far one of the worst courses Ive ever played in my life. The cart girl was wasted and passed out on hole 12. She was literally just passed out on her cart and couldnt comprehend anything. (We assessed her situation in case it was medical, and it wasnt). Stay classy! Terrible conditions and the greens were so slow and shaggy. I suggest if you are in town go elsewhere. Not worth the money and terrible pace of play. Better courses for the money in the area for sure. Save yourself the time.

Probably my favorite course in Vegas. Played here about 15 times in 2020. Great course conditions. Good challenges on some holes, and some holes that you can get low scores on as well. The rates are quite reasonable as well. Everyone is really friendly, and the course has a ton of history. Definitely check it out.

Good condition. Greens extremely slow. Crowded, but it was a Saturday. Friendly service. Classic layout, but challenging. In a rundown neighborhood. Like that they have a Youth on Course rate. Played in the Vegas area all week and this was our least favorite.

Great track and only 50 bucks including cart for mid October. Really loved the signs on the t boxes explaining some of the history of the course. Easy to figure out whats going on and no trick holes. Decent scenery and fun to play. Greens were a little shaggy from overseeding during our mid October round . We all really enjoyed it and will play again!!18 is a great finishing hole.

We had played Las Vegas National few years ago and really liked the course, conditions, and value. But we played it October 9th, admittedly early morning and were pretty disappointed. $119 for slowest greens ever, grass clumps on many fairways, tilted slanted tee boxes, many missing a tee marker and numerous stones in bunkers.Seems like with COVID time delay, course could’ve been in better shape. They had a large outing following and other golfers were just an afterthought. Crowded too. Not a good experience today

Difficult track with challenging bunkers protecting the greens, I think I found about 9 of them, the greens have some undulation and the day I played rolled a bit slow, but not unfair, its kind of a touristy course and so it played very slow, it was fun to read the history plaques with interesting notes about the course and the homes around it.

We had a lot of fun golfing this course! This course has its challenges but let me tell you it is a fun course. This course is designed for a little bit of a challenge but it is fun as it can be on a sunny day! This course has very well-maintained greens and tee boxes! The fairways were very generous! And if youve got a good putting stroke you can get in for par very easily and maybe even a birdy! I had a lot of fun golfing this course. It was a little busy but people are very nice and look out for each other and let you pass when you catch up because I could tell that there was some people out there for conversation instead of golfing. The range was set up properly the clubhouse was full of anything you might need as a visitor golfer. The staff was very helpful in guiding us around the premises. The beverages were cold. And it was just all out a good time. I would suggest grabbing some friends and a tee time and swing in the club at Las Vegas National Golf Center! Tell em Tbone sent ya! Support your local golf course. #getoutngolf

Rented clubs and they were nice Taylor Made’s.Some constructive criticism for the course, if they read this, clean the water areas that have trash. I really enjoyed the course. Great layout in pretty good shape. The bunkers could use some attention.Pro shop staff, starter, cart staff were all very good to excellent. The snack bar was closed. I will definitely play this course again for the golf layout, hopefully the poor food service was an anomoly.

Interesting course. Not exactly top notch in terms of green and fairway quality but its reasonably priced and close to the strip. Im a 10 handicapper and found the course to be quite a good challenge. Perfect to get in a quick game while youre in town.4 stars because it was 100 degrees and there was no water on the course itself. We were given a couple of bottles at the start but they soon finished.I would go back given the right circumstances.

Whether you are visiting or are a local and havent yet checked this course out, do yourself a favor and make this your next golf outing. If you need any supplies or forgot to pack a golf item, the Pro Shop on site has a wide array of all things golf.Hungry? Thirsty? The bar has a great menu and an excellent variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for before and after golfing.Service here is always exceptional and highly professional. Hi this review is to allow residents of Las Vegas, to be aware of the fact that the The Las Vegas National Course, located on Desert Inn near the Boulevard Mall, knowing allows a pack of wild coyotes, to Inhabit the premises, and has for several years. We have young children and elderly people, ourselves, along with many pets, that live on and around this golf course. This is a densely populated area in the heart of the City.On June15th, 2019 a wild coyote, jumped into a familys backyard and killed two of their pets.I am extremely angry about the situation !!!! This is a situation that could have been avoided. I will not stop until those wild coyotes are gone. You will find nothing online or any signs in the area posted of the dangers of wild animals in area. The golf course the city of Las Vegas should care enough about the people that live in and around the area to allow us to be aware of the wild coyotes living free, running loose, just over our back fence. These are the first fatal wild coyote attacks, that I am aware of. It did not have to come to this. I feel as if its the duty of the Las Vegas National Golf Course along with the city of Las Vegas to step up to the plate and be responsible for the dangers that are on there golf course and in our city. These wild coyotes are capable of killing our pets, (and have), our children, the elderly, along with ourselves.Wild Animals should not be allowed near our families. Expecally if we are not Aware that they are there. What are we waiting for? Next ... These wild animals are going to kill one of our children. We are in danger!!!!I called the course today. I spoke with a manager. Theyre aware that the wild coyotes live there!.The city of Las Vegas is aware of wild animals residing in city limits.Something is wrong with that why is nothing being done? These wild coyotes are a danger to our society! Is the city of Las Vegas not concerned for our safety.I asked the manager at the golf course why do they allow the coyotes to live there. Along has with has anyone ever tried or attempted to run them off?His answer was ...it will cost a lot of money.I know the last time I know the last time I checked on the price of bullets they werent all that much money.Wild animals running loose in our city with access to our young children, ABSURD!!!!!!There are no signs at or on or around the golf course stating the existence and dangers of wild coyotes residing in area. Why dont we just go ahead and let our children play in waters infested with alligators. Same thing correct??? Now, I dont believe for one second, that any amount of money would be... money poorly spent when it comes to the life of a family member, much less our pets. I will get to the bottom of this. This its my first step and I will take several more to get these wild animals the heck away from my family my neighbors my society and all of our pets.

Tough course playing from the championship tees(blue). Plenty tight fairways, approach shots into small windows. You would think whoever did the pin placements today wife mustve left them bc they were a straight jerk LOL - a good 4-5 were on slopes with no chance of holding an approach shot. Greens were rather dry n crunchy but not fast at all, played wayyyyyy slower than they looked but they werent horribly hard or bumpy to where you wouldnt make outtaPlay was rather slow, 4somes everywhere with mediocre to below average players makes it tough to stay within a zone or consistent. But a great value but if you can play for anywhere under $75 a 18 Id say & definitely a challenge, probably challenging from the white tees as well.
