Perfect for a super quick layover, but wouldnt recommend for anyone who is accustomed to higher quality hospitality.Standard king doesnt have a fridge, the shower looks and feels like something youd find in a 1980s home, but the bed / decor / scent of room were all fine!Wish they had better restaurants, and hooters needs a bigger liquor selection AND bartenders who know what a Manhattan is.Not a terrible experience though

2.5 / 5Booked at last minute through Google Hotels and read complete fine prints because of total costs and it looked good. However, upon check-in it turned out to be some hidden resort fees which I don’t what is it for.My concern is, if there was any extra fees then the management should put every details on online booking sites just to acknowledge prospect guests.Other than that the view was fine.

I love chicken wings, and I love Hooters. I have no idea who OYO is. All that being said I was excited about going to a new casino and being a new player but sadly I was informed that because I had a Hooters players card I am not new thus I was not entitled to get the New Player perks. In my opinion I find the policy of using Hooters player 1¹1¹1¹11 dadhat I found not a single difference between the two. Same exact casino. Kind of a dive place but homie and comfortable. Id probably go there again.

Nice small venue. Not crowded. Cool poolside area to sit n eat n not be bothered. Too bad its no longer Hooters hotel n casino. The Hooters restaurant is open 24 hrs and they have a shake shack. I walked around n the resort is the most boring hotel ever. The walls are the oddest color and the doors are midnight black. Very bland.

Gross. Beware. So not stay here. Lip stick on a pig at best. The casino is dingy. The rooms were disgusting — like filthy. Our toilet didn’t flush properly, we found hair on the towels. The floors were discolored. We had a free weekend here. Now we know why, you couldn’t pay me to stay here again.

This place has definitely went down as far as quality and service. Not very clean and could definitely use a lot of remodeling. There hallways to the rooms had scattered paper an trash. For two days I looked at the same pieces of trash sitting on the floors. They are good about cleanliness down in the casino area and everyone entering gets temperature checked and required to wear masks. I would not stay here again unless they stepped up their services.

There were no football games on at the sports book. There is baseball and highlights. Also, the sports book was closed when we got there. One server came out and was getting it ready, but the games had started when the sports book opened. She had no help. 1. Open the sports book before the beginning of games2. Have enough staff to prepare the sports book bar.3. Get access to a variety of games for football viewing.

This is probably the worst hotel on the Strip!! The customer service is beyond awfu6, everything for food and drinks were closed, the rooms, floors and elevators smelled like Marijuana and I was offered drugs multiple times in the parking lot and did not feel safe. I don’t understand how people can give this hotel 5 stars unless they are fake reviews. I gave it 2 stars because the staff was friendly and it’s not their fault the ownership doesn’t care about the place. The lobby and casino area are fine but the rooms need a serious update/renovation and repair. Our A/C was barely working, it would sometimes blow warm air, the blankets and sheets were stained, and the shower would unexpectedly get hot and cold while taking a shower. Also most of the ice machines did not work so I had to go to several floors to find a working one. On at least 4 floors the carpet is soaking wet in large areas. Couple of employees told me barely anything works. I will definitely not be staying here again.

Stayed at the Oyo for a night while road tripping to California. Purposely stayed somewhere with a fitness center. The morning we tried to use it it wouldn’t open and no one was able to unlock it for us. The front desk claimed it was closed (how is a gym closed at 9am on a Saturday?) and we later found out it was open and it was just miscommunication between the workers of the hotel. Worst part was that my friend later grabbed a towel to use after showering in our room and realized it had urine and blood or feces on it... meaning our room was not properly cleaned at all considering there were dirty towels hanging up. The manager was supposed to contact us a couple of days ago- he never did. I called again and was told he would call back soon - he never did. Absolutely disgusted with the hotel but the fact that the manager didn’t have the audacity to reach out to me after everything that happened is absolutely ridiculous. Stay somewhere else.

The OYO Hotel is on the south end of the strip and located next to Tropicana. OYO Hotel and Casino is one of the older hotels in Las Vegas. This hotel was originally a Howard Johnsons Motor Lodge when it was built back in 1973. The hotel went through a number of new owners and name changes until 2004 when Hooters purchased the property. They opened their doors in 2006 and operated the property until 2019. About a year ago OYO Hotels purchased the property. Overall, I enjoyed this hotel. It has history. It might stink a little bit and feel dated, but in a city that constantly demolishes the old and rebuilds, its refreshing to see some history in our city.

Simply awesome! The rooms are clean and beautiful, which is what you expect from MGM Grand. There are too many restaurants to mention because this hotel has a full food court on multiple floors. Concert halls and convention centers are spacious and clean. This place also has a small waterpark and etc. This is a great place to bring your family. Lastly, the prices are set for the Las Vegas strip area, so be ready to spend.

Be aware of the resort fee!!! It’s outdated. I got locked out of my hotel room WITH MY KEY which stopped working and they still couldn’t help me. I Had to sleep in the lobby and which is a casino. Aside from that, the hotel room was dysfunctional. The sink wouldn’t drain and the shower wouldn’t get hot. The second room I was assigned to was the one I got locked out of. What is the point of paying this much money if they can’t even help when you get locked out?! It’s such a waste of money. Nothing here worth seeing. There’s a pool and an outdated casino. That’s it!

Horrible, just horrible! Do not be fooled by the pictures depicting the rooms to be clean and nice looking. There was alot of different things damaged in our room. Got a room with the strip view but the windows were so dirty I could hardly see through them anyway. Shower head was falling off. Toilet never stopped running and made this god awful noise. The non-smoking floor was always filled with the smell of smoke and pot. I booked this room for 2 days and immediately canceled my next day stay and rebooked at another hotel. The carpets were filthy. Everything about the room and hotel was just a nightmare. I understand that this hotel is the old hooters but they described that it had been recently renovated. With its price point, I was not expecting a 5 star accommodation and did not keep my hopes high. The place is a bit dated and could use some refreshing. Since I was out most of the day anyway, that was not a big deal breaker. Location is not bad as the strip was nearby and within walkable distance. Some of the front desk personnell could use more customer service training and could be friendlier. The person that checked us in lacked that character. We did not get the type of room that we reserved for and was not upfront. Gave us two standard bed instead of two queens. We ended up changing to another room with two queens but view of the airport instead of the strip since those are the only ones they had available. Disappointing because the view of the strip was fantastic.A bit misleading when I was looking for a hotel, Expedia should not be advertising free Wi-Fi and parking since you actually pay for those services via resort fee. It is stated in the hotels website.

This is just a fun affordable place to go in Vegas! the restaurant inside is famous for their wings and other treats and by the way they are open 24 hours a day! last year they also added a food court next to their brand new pool out back along with the game room so there is plenty to do back there. over the last few years Ive seen a lot of upgrades to this facility. It seems like theyre making a real effort to do a lot of upgrades. I took a picture of registration desk to show you what it looks like if you get there later in the evening. The lines are usually short and the staff is friendly! The only downside to their new pool is that the tower is to the west of the pool so starting early afternoon a lot of the pool is in the shade so its not as popular for people working on their tan. either way if you catch this Resort during the week you can usually get a room for around $25 a night and theres always something to eat if youre hungry. Overall I would say pretty good for the right reasons!

Its an unusual hotel in that its still PARTIALLY has its Hooters origins (Hooters Restaurant, some Hooters colors), but is also changing. Gaming area is smaller than most. The decor is odd (1/2 Hooters; industrial ceiling, no theming). The parking is FREE and EASY. And while it has lower room rates than others on the strip, the crazy resort rates distort the actual value.Example. Lowest room rate I see online is $25. CHEAP. But the resort fee is $42, making your actual bill $67. This is verging on SCAM territory. If all the other hotels are full (conventions, usually), this might be the best option. Otherwise, Id choose another resort that actually has a resort feel. The only AMAZING item here was the show, Alain Nu The Man Who Knows. Blew my mind. No idea how he did it. Best thing at this resort casino.

Water pours from the handles while showering, the toilet was hard to flush, so I myself fixed it. The room walls are paper thin, so you definitely expect to hear.....things. Overall, it was a good experience! EDIT: For clarification, not at any time did I call and ask for anything to be fixed. The price is lower than all of the options in the strip. In my case I paid 135$ per night including taxes and resort fee while the other hotels had in that season prices over 150$. The casino is not as huge and in other hotels but you can find all that you need to play. The facilities looks old in some areas, for example the air conditioning was noisy in my room and I was changed to another room; in the second room I was change again because there was an emergency with the pipes and they needed the room to work on repairs; in the third room the toilet was not working properly.
