Growing up in the Moores Park neighborhood, every time my family went up north, out of town, or simply somewhere in Grand Ledge or Okemos, Wynken, Blynken, and Nod appearing on the horizon was always a comforting sign welcoming us home. Other reviewers are right, they are iconic. The City of Lansing logo is now based on these smokestacks. For the best up close view, Moores Park is the place to go.
