Amazing park. It a great place to experience outdoors. There is a creek, pond, canal, bridge, and plenty of nature to enjoy. People can go for bike rides and hike through the natural trails through the forest.

I love this little forgotten about park! Its a great back entrance to Hawlk island, the river trail, and the dog park. This park has playground equipment, basketball courts and a gazebo! Limited parking but a great place to be!

Very spacious trail teeming with wildlife, i saw two deer while there. But the trail is pretty short even if you take all the trail paths especially if you like to ride fast on your bike like me.

It is a very nice place to walk. I have seen deer, rabbits and watched a hawk building a nest. So nice and peaceful. A nice way to relax.

Outstanding outdoor recreational area located within the city of Lansing. The beat place to walk, run, or bike by yourself or with your family in south Lansing. We saw a doe and found wild raspberries on our last visit.

This is a clean park with lots of room for your dog to run around. Doggie bags provided nice parking spots.

Nice place to walk or bike. Trails lead into hawk island as well if you want a longer walk. Small parking lot, small pavillion and a playground at the entrance to the trails.

A small park that allows access to the Lansing River Trail and Hawk Island. Free to park but the lot is small. There is play structure and small swing set (1 infant swing 1 standard swing). 4 stars only because there are sometimes bees or similar around the play structure which is not to say that surprises me at an outdoor park but it does limit my ability to let my child play there at times / fyi be prepared. I met some nice people on the trail that showed me this jack in the pulpit last night. There were also some may apples a bit farther in but I did not want disturb the area around them to get a photo.

Definitely one of the best sections of the Lansing River Trail. The Sycamore Creek runs through here and there are many opportunities to see wildlife, including deer, beavers, bald eagles, hawks, and many other birds.

Dont follow the GPS into the hospital parking lot. There is a designated parking area near a play gym.

Ar

The pathways are nice and theres benches available at reasonable distances along the trails. There arent good markings for what lies at the end of each path, so its hard to determine where youre going. Theres a long dog park at one of the edges of the park but it costs money to get in and theres no way to pay at the park. Seems like a bad set up to me. Overall, its a really nice park, just be mindful to know where youre going and avoid leaving the trails, theres some signs warning of high tick concentrations.

The dog park is phenomenal. This place is hopping whenever the weather is good. Theres a lot of cool stuff to do in this park. Theres a huge hill for sledding, theres swimming, a playground, trails for walking and running, this park is probably the best in Lansing.

Quiet neighborhood park. I grew up in the area, and the original trails have been combined with new, and improved trails. They now encompass what was the golf course area .The trails are wide and relatively smooth. There is a bridge or two.Dogs, bikes, walkers, joggers. The parking lot is small, so its generally quiet, but it connects to other areas.

No longer feels like a wild place. Sad. Smooth asphalt path.Constant Bicycles whizzing by, only sometimes letting you know they are coming up behind you. Very busy paths. Not so pleasant for walking with elderly, young or dogs.Occasional birdsong, woodpecker or owl sounds. Plenty of mosquitoes. I have seen turkey once and deer several times.

Not even really a park, just a trail entrance. There is NO PARKING anywhere, and its also a posted tow away zone. The trail seemed to connect to Hawk Island Park, but we could not access the dog run area. We did a little hiking and saw some deer, but it was just not what we were expecting. We were looking for somewhere for our dog to swim.
