Always a great place to run, ride, walk, or just enjoy the day. Its about 3/4 mile to Hawk Island so you can enjoy both parks
Alot of wildlife sign. Daylight safe
Its clean not to big and it had a trail where you could walk if you like nature. Good play ground for kids, only thing that through me off was...... a port a john for bathroom, but Id still go back.
This marks the beginning of my walk when I walk the river trail. Its a great place to walk.
This is a great starting point for great trail system. A lawn area to kick or throw around a ball. And a jungle Jim more catered to toddlers than my 8 year old.
River trail is a great city asset.
Good place to park for the Lansing River Trail. Do not leave valuables in your vehicle though, have seen windows smashed in here once.
Very nice place to take a walk clean and quite
Nice running trails that connect to Hawk Island.
This is a safe place to park, while you exercise!!! They have a porta-potty.
This seems to be more like a place to park your car to walk the trail to hawk island park. There is a small playground but I never see kids there. It has a big parking lot and I usually park the car and walk the trail, which by the way, is really nice. It leads to hawk island park and is just about a 3 mile walk.
Quiet and great for walking the river trail
Nice place to go for a walk
A nice entry to the Lansing River Trail. Plenty of free parking. Right off the parking lot there is a portable toilet. There is also a bike station with various tools. Across the path there is a pavilion for group events, it is sometimes not very clean. Towards the entrance to the woods there is a large play structure. It had a few things to entertain my child who was 1-2 years old when we visited regularly. It would be best suited for ages 3-10 probably. Continuing along the river trail there is a long bridge that is seasonally either a nice view or not. There is a view of the local school bus parking lot a short ways down the bridge which one might enjoy if interested.
Great starting point for a run/walk/bike
Great little bike ride stopping point.Lots of skeeters right now.
Nice park with access to bike trails.
First time had a ball. You seen me!
This is a very nice park. My fiance and I like coming here when the weather is nice.
A nice quite place to have a picnic under a pavilion. Playground area is more geared towards bigger kids, not toddlers. A fully equipped bicycle maintenance station for minor fixes before a ride. Wonderful wooded bridge trail. Well maintained and is rather wide for easy pass of bicyclists.
Nice little park with walk along the river and climbing things for the kids.
Excellent paved trail extends to downtown Lansing
Cant really say much about the park. Met a friend here as a starting point for a 7.4 mile round trip walk to Fidelity lake. There was plenty of nice parking and I was rather surprised at how scenic a trail could be found right in Lansing. Will definitely return.
Clean, well kept boardwalk, central location, easy access to other branches of the river trail. Decent parking, bicycle maintenance station, playground, not overly busy. One suggestion: move porta potty away from trailhead. We dont want to say, welcome to the poop stench
Great walking and biking trail!
Love this place!!
Nobody was there the kids got to play
Nice park and walking path to MSU campus. Beautiful!
Great place to park to walk the river trail.
Reminded the kids of Beast Master course. Portajohn in lot. Busy path for bikes, dog walks. Pleasant.
The woods and creeks there are so pretty! The path is paved or is anice wooden bridge. This leads to hawk island park which is also worth visiting!
Easy parking and restroom
Nice banches with covered picnic area, parking and small kids playground.
Need more equipment and something more then a lotta potty.
Nice picnic area and play ground for the kiddos. Access to the bike path and many other attractions in the area
Coach Maguire from Ussa swim coached 17th in the world based on statistics. Only two (2) Asian kids in the states could beat him. Couldnt put in to words the father son thing .
My children and I absolutely love this park
Great place to start a spectacular bike ride!
Great place to stop on bike ride
Good starting place for the River trail
Nice and clean
Fun jungle gym type park. Kid loved it. Entrance to river trail.
Perfect spot to start your adventure on the Lansing River Trail. Has a portapotty, good parking and is generally pretty busy so you feel safe.
This park is perfect for a morning run or an afternoon in the sun.
Nice, quiet little park. A stop off the river trail. Has a pavilion and playground equipment. Equipment is complex and not recommended for small children.
Great meetup and starting point for extensive trails.
Nice clean quiet place
Great place to get on the River Trail to either go North or South. Its free to park. Sometimes they have a port-a-potty to use. Nice little play station for kids and theres a bike repair station.
Great trail, and they actually put hand sanitizer in the portapottie. I wish they had dog pick up bags though.
Easy parking for the river trail. Nice location. Park and Ride bikes to Hawk Island.
Park is Good for bigger kids, access to river trail and has a nice pavilion.
Nice little park with free parking. Gives access to hawk island (one mile walk) and lansing river trail. Pavillion. Play area. One porta potty.
Nice park w/ pinic area. Bicycle friendly w/ water and air pump (although some lowlife stole the air nozzle - byon).
Its small but you dont have to worry about the kids there always in sight
Very nice park and very hot women.
Great playground
A park named for Toby? Count me in!
It connects to the river trail.
Was a nice place to rest a minute
Nice playground and paved trails for biking and such.
Great place to start a run on the Lansing River Trail.
Very Clean. It is a nice day, go for a walk type of park.
Small jungle gym play area, with small pavilion. Free parking and has access to the river trail.
Wonderful place ro relax
More of a staging area for the River Trail/Sycamore Trail system. There are playground equipment, small pavilion and tables available.
Fun park
Not much to do
Quiet, nice, and clean for the children
Nevermind
Ive never been there
Needs lighting
My experience was awful. My car was broken into and my purse was stolen. The police wouldnt come take a report. They told me to go online and do it myself!
One entrance to the landing regional trail system
Cool
No baby swing
