Pacific Theatres Lakewood Center is a cut above every other theater in Los Angeles. Its bar far the one I prefer to go to, even if the drive is longer and the tickets cost more.Assignable seats, fresh food, a bar!!! and 21 and over adult screenings make this place tops for dinner and a movie in LA

A good theatre with16 screens the amenities were good and nicely maintained tickets on normal day was 11 $ for adult and 10 $ for kids and ample free parking available outside theatre during weekdays

Fantastic theatre with a wide variety of offerings. The Theatre is very well preserved and it has a good size. Ive been both in the upper areas has the orchestra level and found both experiences to be really enjoyable. They often feature movie nights and very occasionally a wide variety of shows often related to the LGBT community.

This Pacific Theater definitely needs to take advantage of the shut down to do serious building updates. Its seriously bad, I have been to Dollar Theaters that offer a better atmosphere. Went right before shut down (mid February), the place was a ghost town, we honestly thought it was closed. There was only one worker in sight, then we waited for that person to find the concession worker which was about 10-12 mins wait, finally get to our movie and there is out of order signs and caution tape on about a 3rd of the seats in a very small room. Yikes! No shade just one customers opinion.

I see movies here weekly every Tuesday so its difference experience ever time I visit. Never too crowded, right down the street from my job so its convenient.

I liked the stadium seating which gave us a clear view of the screen. The lobby and restrooms were clean and appeared to be well tended. The staff was friendly and we thought the prices were reasonable.

I have to give this theater 5 stars just for the nostalgia alone. Im telling my age here but I remember coming here as a youngster to watch ET (phone home ) with my dad and brother and the line was stretched completely around the building...Ill never forget that. Also, theyve done a pretty good job of keeping the place up.

Loved the movie but This Theater is outdated.The Theater has a lot of potential and I can tell that at one point it was probably on the cutting edge of the theater experience but it may be time for a little bit of an upgrade.I tried sitting comfortably in the seats but its tough. At one point I told my wife that the arms on the seat were giving me a rug burn because i kept slipping down into my seat.I like the screen size and its a big theater, the seats are terrible and the concession needs some love.

Sunday, its not packed. Practically have the Theatre to ourselves If they fix up the place better then Id give this place a five. Just need some retouching. But honestly.. Who even knew Pacific Theatre was still existing?

This must be stopped. If an elderly person goes to this theater and hurts their back or ruins a sciatic nerve, which inhibits them from taking care of themselves or doing common things like eating and walking that we do every day as people, we must take these seats out. We could fix these seats so people dont hurt themselves. People could be hurt and it would be sad to watch, as people, if we have compassion for our fellow human beings. They should play more movies for the older generation also.

Awesome. Really enjoyed my experience today. Been going there for about 3 years and have yet to feel like I have wasted my money. They have an arcade, a good selection of snacks. The popcorn is always on point and you can refill your soda without having to wait for a representative to fill it up for you. I like it. Seats are comfortable and have a good arrangement. I am planning to go back soon.

The theater was very clean didnt buy any snacks that so I wouldnt know about the snacks and the availability in what kind are there I just had my bottle of water and nuts. The bathrooms are very clean. The sound system is really good we saw The Lion King Digital format so its really nice. The seats are very cushioned a little bit low its very comfortable. Parking is free and available. There are a lot of restaurants around that person can attend either before or after the film.

No frills movie theater but good enough to catch the occasional basic movie. Definitely would not recommend for a big blockbuster that is full of cinematic technology but definitely works for a comedy, drama, or family film.

Tuesdays are the best at this nicely maintained and never crowded theater, where you receive a reduced ticket price on this evening each week. The theatres and bathrooms are kept clean and the employees are always friendly.

I was there last night and used the kiosk and accidentally bought wrong tickets. A young lady help me sorry I didn’t get her name but she was very kind and helpful. I really appreciate her customer service

Loved it!! The times I have gone, it was never crowded. The theater rooms are small which makes them even better, in my opinion.

Great place to watch movies. During the week is the best time to come. No lines. No hassles. Workers are extremely nice and helpful.

I am disappointed with the service. I came to watch a movie on December 23 around 9pm. After watching the beginning of the movie, I went to guest service where I first asked the man in the podium with some dreads, also wearing a suit, whether it would be possible to change my movie. He says we had already watched the whole movie claiming we had ate the whole meal when it had only been around 20 minutes since our showing. I politely asked and just wanted an answer and while the lady in guest service was trying to help my friend and I with another movie, it just seemed like the the man in the podium was treating us like we were children by telling us to leave and come back another day. I was not trying to get a refund but just wanted to know whether we would be able to change our movie and I really don’t appreciate the way he was treating us. The young lady in guest service was nice and trying to help but it’s unacceptable the way this man was treating us. Very disappointed, I paid two movie tickets for a movie we didn’t even watch. This is very disappointing.

Came on a Tuesday. Each ticket was 6.50, not to bad. Theater room and screen were a little small. We watched Star Wars, graphics were ok.

Great place for my Nephew and Myself to see 1917 World War I Movie, also very nice and friendly Pacific Lakewood Theater Staff and one staff enjoyed viewing my Print Out of My Grandpa Corporal Art, who was a 1917 World War I Veteran.

Never again! Got turned down because i had a skateboard which i use to get around from school last time i went they let me in with it and now they wouldnt hold it for me. AMC always helps out the customer; i am done with you guys for good.

Totally disgusted by the patrons behaviour, leaving so very much rubbish in and around thier seats. The centre is beautiful and well cared for, air con was awesome. Would like to have had more choices of snacks.

Older theater with some updates. No state of the art theaters. Original main screen is MASSIVE. Several large screen. Quite a few TINY and I mean like a bedroom tiny screens. Always check to see what theater your movie is in before buying tickets. All screens are the same price and and I wouldn’t even watch anything in the tiny screens even at half the price. There has been been some updates and the lobby is pretty nice in an older grand style but the theater needs a major update. Good pricing, especially of $5 Tuesdays.

Older theater great movie and great selection need to remodel the place if they Going to raise the price for movie but surely I will come back again. Forgot pacific theater was in long Beach until today I went to watch Avengers Endgame. I live in long Beach California for many years and I totally forgot a theater in Lakewood mall.

The Service and all the staff are good, but the seat really need to update.

This place is horrible. It reeks of dirty carpet. They have done nothing to upgrade this place. You cant recline in the chairs. I bet if we went in this place with the lights on it would show signs of needing the health dept assistance. There were several people in line waiting to buy a ticket and 2 gentleman were inside selling tickets. They could have at least put a sign up stating to come inside to purchase a ticket. The pop corn was cold and stale. They need to lower their prices if they are going to continue to operate like this. I will not return until that ckean this place up. If I could give negative stars I would.

Is quiet with plenty of seating space. The only çaviat is that the theater is not connected to the rest of the mall. You have to get in your car and drive there after shopping.

Ive been coming to this theatre for almost 40 years now. i love the nostalgia of it, theatre #1 is always my favorite to see a new movie in, especially since ive seen just about every blockbuster here back in the 80s and 90s... would be awesome if they turned theatre #1 into an IMAX theatre, they have the space! this theatre needs another major remodel soon to keep up. love the arcade, and the service

Great little theater! It is never really crowded even on big movie release days. The staff is courteous and helpful. The prices are less than the bigger chains. Their popcorn is AMAZING! The only downfall are some of the seats(in the bigger theaters) are old and during long movies, your butt starts to hurt.

I wish I could give this less than one star. I went in to watch a movie, and the first seed I sat on stained My pants full of vinegar, so much so that my clothes still smell. And the second seat I sat on, I just left because I got bit buy a bug on my leg, on my hand, on my back and now with swollen bites, I have to go home because I have a severe allergy to bug bites. This is probably the most filthiest and unhygienic environment I have ever been in. What the giant _____

Great place to watch movies with family

Used to go here all the time back in middle school and high school. Not much has changed except for the prices are pretty high now. Just watched Toy Story 4 with my wife and two daughters and it cost $40. Way too high for a movie in my opinion.

Saturday night 4:40, hardly a line and the seats were comfortable

I went to watch 9:30 showing of First Man. The ticket is $6.50 every Tuesday. I was aware of the screening being in the smaller theater for this showing and the employees are nice. Overall this location is good but the quality of the seats were average. Long movie it was a little over two hours but great so the seat wasnt all that bothersome.

The Pacific Theater in Lakewood is really great place to go weather if youre by yourself, or with family or friends. Very convenient showtimes I can be late in the morning or late in the afternoon Eve or night. Theres a tip for you guys if you are a student. I would recommend you to go on Tuesdays since they have 50% discount. Meaning instead of paying $12 for your movie ticket youll pay $6 Which is a really good deal it be in any movie released. I guess you have to pay a bit more extra if youre trying to watch 3D but i guess its normally .$6, thats pretty good seal. Also if you get that craving of a snack then if you are a student you are in luck. Just show your ID and you will get a discount on the popcorn.  their Selections in food are hot dogs, popcorn, soda, candy, and nachos. Allow there is great security outside and inside the movie theater. Also if you get confused between which movie stall you are in just ask one of the security guard and they will address you to the right place.The bathrooms are really clean there is toilet paper not like other places.

Love coming here on Tuesdays!!! All tickets for the entire day is $6.50 excluding special holidays. Never had any issues and the employees are extremely friendly and nice.

This has become my go-to movie theater because movies usually never sell out here so you dont have to worry about planning ahead. Its an older theater so no fancy reclining seats. Ive gone here with my boyfriend and weve been the only ones in the theater for a movie thats been out a couple weeks.On weekends they check your bag when you enter and theres a heavy security presence - not sure why. The price is slightly less here - $11.50 for an adult versus the $14 youd pay at AMC.

This theater is located by tge Lakewood Mall. It does have a parking lot to park in but limited spots.When you go to the theater they require you to tell them which seat you would like to sit in. You cant just go in and sit down which I dont like.If you dont go to a matinee they are quite expensive esp their snacks and drinks. AVOID the buttered popcorn. Ive hard it three times and ended up vomitting afterwards. So did my companions. I think their butter is not refrigerated properly prior to being used.The seats need to be updated as they sag in spots. Im not heavy so they cant say it is due to that.Most of the staff are very friendly but on wknds there are problems with people being or unhelpful. Sometimes they look like they want to be somewhere else.

The staff was nice & the place was clean. Its a relatively small theater with multiple screens & so so seating. But the cool part is its not too crowded & the other movie guests were fun & that made the movie that much more enjoyable.

This still remains one of my favorite movie theater locations when Im in Long Beach. Its conveniently located in the Lakewood shopping center so youre surrounded by restaurants and department stores. This theater has ample parking and great lighting. Even though its not a major chain theater its always very clean and well kept. It has a mini arcade located inside. Bathrooms are always clean, the staff is very friendly and multiple concession lines in the event it gets busy which it tends to do on the weekends obviously. The only gripe and its not a major one, are the quality of the seats...they are not cushy or modern, but I guess thats what happens when youre spoiled by AMC and their great seats....other than that its a great movie experience every time I go...oh yeah on Tuesdays you can catch any movie, any time for only $5.... again, this is a great theater. A hidden gem in the Lakewood/LB area.

Overpriced, screens are small, noise is loud and distorted, and seats are uncomfortable. You should only go if youre local and unable to get to the one in Cerritos.

Very clean, bright, current decor and friendly staff. Saw movie in theater 6. It was smaller than I expected but sound was great it created a nice, intimate atmosphere.Prices on concessions are well within the industry standard for Southern California.

Tried to watch spider verse here. No stadium seating in theater I was in. Only one other guy watching, eating popcorn with mouth open. It was distracting.And I felt I had to crane my neck up to look at screen as the seats were a bit lower than I am used to.I asked for refund and they gave me one. Good service.

It was slightly uncomfortable to sit in the seats. Being 57 there really wasnt any space to rest my head. But other than that, the movie and customer service was great!

This theater is disgusting. Not only the theater but the people who come here.. we couldnt even hear the movie over some random sick guy hacking and blowing off snot rockets in the corner..

Had to make two trips for nothing guy at the front said we needed id anything as long as it has a name on it i went back home to get my id he sold us tickets but when we were about to enter another employee told us the id isent valid and cant let my gf in beacuse it has no photo wish the guy at the front couldev let us know instead of misinforming us and wasting time at least they gave a refund when we asked.

Man, this theater really needs some work and upgrades to do. Tried to watch a movie on the main theater but the image quality was sooo bad. The movie was very dark and blurry, I couldnt enjoy the movie one bit. Ive been here a few times out of convenience because its close to my house, but I dont think I will be back for a while. Also, clean up a bit, theres a musty smell almost everywhere here.

Its the closest theater for me and its clean, plenty of parking spots and nice people.

I enjoyed All the money in the world movie here, staff was easy, the place was taken care of and theater was suitable. Only thing I found to be unacceptable was the prices for popcorn and soft drink. I think it was like 15 dollars for a soft drink and normal size popcorn. I see the food service takes advantage of a contained audience and your simply forced to pay the over high price for a normal 1 dollar pop it yourself amount of pop corn. Literally, the adult ticket price was less than the popcorn and drink. That was how I compared it. If fact this could be why the place is clean inside. Because most people just pass on the food and drinks, so there is no mess found inside the theater. Makes sense to me.

Nice place, I go here 9/10 times when I need to watch a movie but please lower the food prices. You have to pay 5 dollars for one small slice of Pizza and you need to pay 5 more for more slices when I can get a whole Pizza somewhere else for the same amount! Please lower the prices. They are too expensive
