Very nice park...includes an accessible playground, 2 walking/biking trails are adjacent and ball fields are available.There are 2 pavilions and bathrooms.Pretty lake view.

Nice park. A little disappointed with the people who parked their cars next to the skate park. Guess it was too much to walk from the parking lot...

The play area for children is completely fenced in, and the equipment has awnings, in the Florida heat and sun that is a mandatory feature. The bathrooms are clean and well stocked and for parties and get togethers there are several pavilions, and BBQ grills. For older children there is also a skateboarding park, baseball and soccer fields.

I was very please I have issues about restrooms at a park but my bladder couldnt wait the facility was clean they had hand soap and paper towels to dry your hands. It eased my mind. Thank you

Roofed over can relax out of the rain....nice play area for kids. Restrooms very convenient as kids always have to potty. Right across from the lake... very relaxing

We call this Yellow Slide Park at my house and its my sons favorite park in Lake Wales. Plenty of stuff to keep the kids occupied and a sign language diagram that the kids love. Its so cute to see them practicing signing the alphabet to each other. This park features a playground complete with impact absorbing foam, slides, swings, balance beam, etc. that you would find on a playground. Also features a covered picnic area, I see lots of people hosting birthday parties here. A skate park, recently updated. A baseball field, maintained nicely. A small interactive walking trail, park of Story Walk. Restrooms, water fountain. The benches at the playground are not shaded! If you plan to visit on a sunny day, you may want to bring an umbrella. The playground itself is shaded by giant sunsails as. There are no trees in the area. Parking lot is a decent size, however people still tend to park in the grass.

Great place for parties and kickball and a skate park for the kids. Lots of room for any outdoor games. If your yard is too small or your an apt dweller its an AWESOME place for your kids. The restrooms could use some help. In a few years an update would warranted.

Great park! We had a blast on all the equipment there. There are restrooms, drinking fountains, grills and covered picnic tables. Plus a nearby skate park and a lake across the street. Very beautiful place.

The park is very accessible. It was very well thought out by its creator, Barney. It is wheelchair accessible as well, so the entire family can have fun! There is an onsite bathroom and pavilions with picnic tables.The only thing I wish the park had is more shade trees.

Decent park, very overcrowded for parents with small children but there is plenty to do for smaller children.

Great for young and older kids. Across the street from Lake Wailes and the jogging trail. Has a recycled plastic cushioned floor, in the fenced, playground area. There are pavilions with concrete tables, and grills. There is a skateboard & rollerblade park on the back side, for older kids. Great for birthdays. Free. Water fountain, restrooms, and a pay-soda/beverage machine, trash cans, wheelchair accessable.

We love this park! Its great for all ages with plenty of kids to play with my oldest. Weve made friends here and continue to spend weekends her .

Beautiful park, well kept and fully fenced in with only one exit. The skate park is neat. The pavilions are roomy and neat.

I come here often to bike around the Lake Wailes path, and its truly beautiful out here. I used to come here often to hang out under the Pagoda and log onto the wifi thats available. Its a beautiful place and from time to time the FPV drone guys in the area come here to fly and are super friendly, they even let me use a spare headset to watch in first person from various drones. It was truly an amazing experience, not just for the place but for the people.

Very nice park, lots of kids, bathrooms, and a 2+ mile biking/running/walking path. The best thing about this park for me was the view, beautiful.

Just spent the afternoon with my boy Cameron, cutes grandbaby ever!!!!!! We enjoyed the boat ramp. Overcast for today just iced it so not much sun exposer, plus the shade tree. Overall will keep going back.

One of the best parks in Lake Wales with a lot of wide open space for various activities.A wide open area for doin wheater, a nice playset and swingset for the kiddos, decent skate park, a pavilion, restrooms, vending. upkeep is maintained. Nice lake nearby.

They really need to put more lights out there.

Excellent place to take your kids just play on the playground they have a new playground with the soft footing or to have a birthday party for your kids grandkids or even just family members theres a state park there theres a football field or a soccer field across the way theres a running path around the lake theres all kinds of things to do at Kiwanis Park

Only 1 mile from my home. I use the running/walking path here. I has street lamps for those time when youre using it in the evening or early morning. The path is paved and there are also exercise stations statistically placed along the path as well!

Many families enjoyed the day together and with friends.

Lake Wales parks are so outdated and tiny. It would be nice to see a better budget planned for a park expansion like we have in Haines City, Winter Haven, Lakeland, and Bartow.

The kids always like it there. I normally take them when no one else is there. Only thing that has stopped us from going is one of the parents met her drug dealer and did a very noticeable deal in the bathroom.
