This is a really cool place in Lake Forest where homes, equipment and other interesting displays provide for a very nice family outing or photo op. Did not know it was here and stumbled across that one day when I was going to the credit union in that area. Nice place to take the kids.

Great little historical park with the original El Toro one-room grammer school and an Episcopal church. A bunch of school kids were on a field trip and having lunch when we were just there. Its behind a shopping center so you have to look for it, but is worth the hassel.

Visited here after sharing a bagel with hubby at a nearby bagel shop. Wondered along the paths to look at the CA native plants and to read what the Indians used them for medicinally. Nice quiet spot for a very pleasant morning.

Its interesting when you first go there. When you go more often (like me) for projects and stuff, it starts to get really boring. Their events like Haunt at Heritage Hill and Victorian Christmas are really fun to go to and bring your friends. They have music and games and food and its just really fun.

Nice OC Park except when it hosts Halloween and Christmas functions. People completely inundate the parking lot by my favorite bagel shop and there is no parking anywhere.

I was born in here in 1975 and have lived in this exact area basically my whole life minus a few years here and their but i grew up in EL TORO and i hate to admit it but i had no idea this was here until my buddy had to do community service their for court lmfao! this place is so rad and cant believe that it has been saved here for so long. i am excited about this and want to do anything i can to help preserve this area and any more that we can because our history of the area is vast and very old! i am pleased to tell everyone i know about this place and will push to help save more of our local california history here in south county!
