Wow what a preserve! Parking seem abundant and there are some many beautiful flowers in this garden and the art mixture really offers something for everyone, outdoors, which is great with COVID-19. The grounds keepers helped navigate us through the labyrinth which is really a small patch of land landscaped to offer quite the space for a hike/ walk.I think this spot would be perfect for outdoor photos or a wedding with the mixture of gazebos, archways, and seating.Plus the YMCA and community center are so close but dont get confused the preserve is at the entrance of the lot, nearest to the main road. Dogs are welcome and its super kid friendly.

Need to have a map somewhere along path. Loved they had markers by most plants. Very pretty. Spent a good hour or more walking but would have liked to know what paths there are. We may have missed something just because we didnt know the path was there. Loved the Boy and Girl Scout gardens. Very well done.

This review is about the Enchanted Lights show. It is so other worldly and beautiful you will experience true holiday spirit. A light and sound show with lovely, calming music and well thought out interactivity for children. It was so wonderful we had to go back a second time. This will definitely be our new annual holiday tradition. Wish I had known about it sooner! Tip: book in October if you have younger kids because weekends and early time slots go fast.

Beautiful botanical garden. Lots of meandering paths with lovely vistas and well-marked botanical information. While an easy garden, it is very steep and not ideal for anything with wheels.

Nice walk...be prepared to climb up lots of steps on uneven ground. Cool (literally) good to walk on a hot day. People driving in the parking area keep asking where it is. . I point to the whole hill side

Just such a beautiful arrangement of all sorts of plants, flowers, trees and an atmosphere that is perfect for meditation, relaxation, reflection, quiet calm. In the past I played music for a book club once when I was a music student. I like the place a lot and hope to have my own small event there in the rose garden.

Simply beautiful to walk around and see how native species of California can come together in a fantastic garden setting. There are plenty of places to sit and rest and lots of artwork from local artists and local donors that make walking through the garden very interesting.

A beautiful garden with great exhibits of California natives. Summertime is hot and a good time to see the dormant period. Yes, we do have seasons in California - our winter is summertime ; )A beautiful walk. Check out the cool Boy Scout/Girl Scout gardens. Very nice, well done exhibits.Connects to the Laguna Niguel regional park and the Crown Valley park, so a good hub to park and walk or to go to the playgeounds or splash pad.

Not worth taking a trip just to see it, especially if compared to other botanical preserves in the region. Pleasant as park but very disappointing as botanical preserve. Upper parts of the park do not seem to be cared for or mantained. I do not recommend.

This is by far one of my favorite places to take my kids. They have hiking trails with labels for all the different types of plants and trees. Plus there is a water park a YMCA, soccer fields, baseball fields, free shows and movies, and a playground. Its an amazing comunity park to hang out at. #1in my book.

This is a pleasant and wonderful garden area that we are extremely lucky to have in our community. Most impressive is the size. Such a large walking area for being a community garden. It clearly requires a lot of work and effort from a great many volunteers and professionals. It is devide up into sections including a rose garden, plants from Australia, sections dedicated to Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, etc.As with pretty much all botanical gardens, things change. So a plants name plate may not always be near a plant that is there, as it may have long since died or never taken root. That doesnt take away from the educational aspect of the reserve. It may even add to it as your student digs through his or her guide books to find each plant.Of course, this reserve is only one section of the park. Nearby is the outdoor theater, pool, kids area, and sports areas. Each of these worth their weight in gold for our community and fantastically installed and maintained.
