This park is awesome. Plenty to do here with the family. Walking around the lake and park, fishing, tables by the lake for fishing, awesome playgrounds for kids (closed due to CV19), tennis courts, volleyball, BBQ pits, and nice grass area for family games or flying a kite. Its a regional park so your going to pay $5-$10 depending on schedule and holidays Im sure. Restrooms are clean and maintained well and they have a fish cleaning station by the lake. Definately recommend it.
Ive always loved this park, been going here since the 1980s. A great walk around the lake. Plenty of parking, picnic areas, and large grass and tree filled spaces. Ive seen people catch some decent size fish there, and also saw about a 3-foot long gopher snake. The large ducks can be aggressive and its fun to see people get chased. Lots of birds...a great place to chill as its well maintained and restrooms are decent. Little store in the middle of park with AC & refreshments. The best place for a large family picnic.
Nice and quiet park. Its very well maintained. I noticed that not too many tables and benches are there which was inconvenient for family to enjoy snacks etc. Restrooms are far away from benches if you find any. We just have to be prepared if we plan in future if we decide to come to this park. I suggest to any first timers to be prepared with your own chairs etc.
Great place to take a walk, have a sit, and fish! Gazebos abound and tons of open space for the kids to get their wiggles out!
Beautiful park to enjoy your day walking fishing gathering BBQ.On website is few info that are different when you get to the park:1- there is no boat ride for $10.00 an hour,,,I think due to COVID-19 been cancelled.2- entering park fee for parking is $5.00 and is posted on line as $4.003- to obtain fishing license you need to go to Walmart to get it.There is no swimming allowed. Plenty of parking in different sections of the park.
Very beautiful place. It also has a lot of restrooms on the property too which makes it great! Thanks!
Really nice park for a walk with lots of animals, especially birds. There is a lake in the middle, a dirt trail on one side, some bridges, and many benches to rest or have a picnic. It is nor allowed to swim, and you also need fishing licence to fish (ages 16 and up). It is not too hilly, so very good for a run (one lap can be around 5 miles long combining asphalt and dirt trail)
A piece of heaven on earth...clean, green, birds, wheelchair accessable, unique restroom with soap ....why travel to Switzerland when you can have it all here?
Went there for the first day of pop up voting. Looks like a really great park. Will have to come back some time not on official business.
Beautiful place to have a walk. So peaceful. I really enjoy my time over there. Very clean
Beautiful park and lake. Very surreal like you drove up to the mountains and only 2 miles from my home. Nice trail around the lake with much wildlife. Highly recommend a visit.
Its a wonderful breath of fresh air where you can spend a quiet peaceful evening with your family and friends.
It is dedicated to a wide variety of recreational uses. Lake fishing for trout and bass and cat fish is available for visitors. Picnic areas are equipped with shelters, sinks, picnic tables and bbq stoves elecrtical outlets. You may need to reserved through the park office. Jogging and biking area is so nice and it has a nice park for children.
Didnt know what to expect. I assumed it would be similar to Irvine Park. Wasnt even close. Nice place to walk, fish, relax. I didnt feel it was kid friendly.
Great place to walk and get away from everything!
Even at the height of summer, it’s still cool around here. This place is awesome!
Very open, lots of pathways that give you miles of walking if you want. There are very large grassy areas that are filled with interesting birds. Picnic tables, barbecues and restrooms are available. As a birder I enjoy the diversity of birds that can be seen and enjoyed.
The place is very nice. There are a ton of Canada Geese, and they defecate one pound per day so you really need to watch where you step. Other than that, the place is beautiful, peaceful, well maintained.
Good picnic park. Grills, shelters, toilets, playgrounds. And walking paths. The park is clean, although the water doesn’t smell good. Closed at 9pm.
Lots of fun...... Night fishing was a blast catching three catfish
Fun fishing, and lots of room to roam, picnic, walk, or just relax in the shade
A very pleasant park well organized facilities.
Great for long walks around the lake, barbecue with the family or kids birthdays
Something is not well thought in the park, as there are multiple places where people have to walk on the road (and people dont care about cars most of the time), as well as geese being even more important road users than people and not letting cars drive.Park itself is clean (from garbage), otherwise watch your step as geese have done the job. There is a ~1.7 mile loop around the lake. Some picnic areas here and there, not all have enough play zones around it (like the one on the hilltop). Not a lot of shade in the park. No picturesque views. I would suggest extra drive to Irvine Regional, which has much more stuff to do in there.
No Handicapped Area To Sit While In LineOnly Small Metal Chair To Sit On While You Vote
This is a nice clean park with good bathrooms and amenities. The fishing was good.
It was a hot day, but we enjoyed our time being there and having our lunch with friends! Very quiet and meditative!
Laguna Niguel Regional Park is a great place to get out doors. Very clean environment. Has playgrounds, tennis courts, pickle ball courts, and alot of grass space for all types of events. Unfortunately due to coronavirus, the rental covered areas and playgrounds are not open but the lake has alot of cute ducks and squirrels everywhere. You can go fishing, and they have a fish cleaning station too. The benches and picnic tables can get dirty because of the ducks so bring something to clean them if youd like clean tables. Overall its a beautiful park. Strongly recommend it.
In oasis in busy Southern Orange County. Trees, green grass, shelters you can rent with water and electricity, tennis courts and a lake. Fishing allowed with a license (over 16). $3-5 entry fee. Good for walking the dog (leashed), bike riding, birdwatching. Quiet, peaceful. Lots of clean restrooms.
Very clean and quiet. Great place to go fishing.
One of my favorites parks!
Beautiful park! Great for a walk. Friendly & helpful staff.
Beautiful, tranquil park, nice.for a picnic or an early morning stroll
Because a lot of good rides and theme parks
Very nice 4 pickleball courts
Great place to hangout and various activities including fishing!!!
We loved the park it was beautiful and very large. Lots of various locations for picnics and events. Good place to spend the day with you and your family Dont forget to bring the dog. Very dog friendly.
I am here for the pickleball courts which is always full. Dont let the Asians place since when they get the court they dont let anyone play on their court. We play at the tennis area since it also has a pickle courts.
Best park around, but they need to give the 4th tennis court back to the tennis players. Pickleball has taken over unfortunately.
Great park! Have to pay an entrance fee, but nice playgrounds for the kids, covered patios, and locations for picnics
My grandson and I used to enjoy fishing here until several years ago when the county took over administering that activity. No more boats or on site personnel for bait and tackle purchases. It’s still a beautiful setting though. And I understand that the county does stock the lake with trout and catfish, depending on the time of year.
Beautiful and clean park. Its a must for any occasion
Nice 2 mile walk around the lake.
This is a great park has everything for the family and not to crouded
Great to spend time in the out doors for the day with family.
Huge park with play places and gathering pavilions with BBQ grills surrounding a large fishing lake. Minimal parking fee and easy main road access. Escape to the outdoors in the middle of Suburbia
Nice park and also have shop area nearby.
I love to fish nicest public lake in oc
They have a fantastic lake that they stock periodically. Trout, bluegill, and catfish. The site is very clean. A great place to go to go for a hike.
Love this park. Long walks with dog, bird watching, fishing or BBQ with friends and family one of the best places ever for this activities.
It has a marvelous view
Lots of outdoor stuff to do. Bring food and have a picnic.
It feels secluded and its very clean.
Outstanding play place for kids. Play slides very hot during day. Good covered picnic areas and public bathrooms
Beautiful park, lots of gorgeous trees, picnic spots, and playground equipment
This park is lovely! There are picnic tables throughout. The fee to get in I believe was $2 for weekdays and $5 for weekends. A very fair price. Will be back ASAP!
Place is unbelievable great and good for spending the time with family.
A great place for a walk
First time visiting the park today. Beautiful park!!
Good place to get away from the City feel. Theres biking, walking fishing, restrooms a lookout point and water fountains. Groups can rent spaces and play volleyball etc. A good all-around nature place where you can feel safe.
A beautiful park to explore and enjoy.
What a great regional park! It even has hills for kids to roll down. OC Parks Summer Cinema Series is an annual free event. Tennis courts, a kids play area and a lake all make this a wonderful place for families.
I go to the park every year on the 4th of July to watch the fireworks. Its not overcrowded, its clean and the city makes lots of accommodations for street parking.
Well maintained and beautiful. Great picnic shelters.
Nice and clean. Good for the entire family. It is huge..
Amazing place...
Good size trouts and super delicious
An incredibly beautiful park. Plenty of courts. Always clean!
What a lovely park. Good playgrounds, with interesting aspects different from most other parks. Theres a creek running through the park, so added fun for adventurous kids. If you have a large function, this is a good spot. Plenty of room. Plenty of rentable pavilions. Good sized too! The parking is a little sparse, so if you are attending a large function you may have to walk a bit. There is also a reservoir, so if fishing is your thing, theres bass waiting. The only hazard is the goose poop. Watch your step and where you put your blanket. Nice park!
This is a nice park, however, I went there to walk around with my kids. We had to walk in the street for most of our walk. I wish there were more sidewalks. The playground was okay. There are a lot of squirrels and they go into strollers looking for food.
I love this fishing lake
Beautiful place to relax, barbecue and hang around with family or friends
Great park. Have had parties here, gone walking, had picnic, went to playground.. a lot to offer. Stream is cool for the kiddos. Whats not cool, the goose pool-but park still worth it.
This is an amazing local park with great trails and a beautiful lake that is stocked for fishing. It does require a California fishing license and is so heavily fished you will not see great success unless you are a serious fisherman with a lot of know-how on fishing trout.
Always clean, tons of wildlife, happy people getting exercise and a nice area to walk your dogs. If you havent figured out a free place to park and walk in then youll have to pay to park inside the park. Either way its beautiful and worth it.
I love this park! This is a great park for families. They have just about everything I need. They have a dog park, one for small dogs and one for bigger dogs, a jogging path, an area with workout equipment, a playground for different age groups, views of the Bay, bike rentals, and THE best frozen lemonade in Miami. Seriously if you havent had A.Cs Lemonade, you need to get your life together.
Scenic place to ride your bike, take a hike or walk. Parties are cool here too and lots of people camping and fishing.
Great park for hiking, jogging, fishing, picnicking, partying for large parties, pickleball and tennis. Expert hobbyists fly model planes with lights on hill above Alicia. Free entry if you walk in. The park is huuge!
Went to fish had the best most easy time parked right by the lake. Had tables for picnicking. Only3 dollars to get in.
I was impressed with the size of this park. There are so many areas to picnic and enjoy the scenery. Fishing is an activity you can enjoy here. The park is well tended. A great place to get away from the daily grind.
Love it. Enormous park. Great for big parties.
Awesome place for bike riding and hikes and family picnics!
Nice place but no swimming allowed. If you want to relax all day it is a good place to kick back and do some fishing.
Great location for a stroll or a workout. Nice paths and scenery. Clean and well trafficked.
Beautiful park with 2 playgrounds, lake and lots of grass for little kids to run on. Fun and beautiful all in one.
Beautiful park. Great employees.Bad fishing and limited access from shore. No rental boats like they used to...no concession stand. Mostly people walking or ladies with strollers( whom seem to think they own the road everytime Ive gone there!)
Great park to hang out at with groups or just a couple friends. Its spacious with lots of grass and trees.
Great birding and easy 1.8 mile walk around the lake with the dog
Beautiful park. So quiet, so pretty. Excellent accommodations. Highly recommend it.
Park is being maintained well, awesome park
Peaceful even on the weekends. Clean. Well taken care of.
Our favorite. Great 2 mile flat walk around the lake. An Oasis.
I came here to teach myself to Bass fish. I like the size of the lake, it’s seems healthy, some good cover for Bass. Talking with some local regulars, it seems like this is a perfect place to learn and develop the technique for Bass fishing.
Really good place for birthday parties, or even jogging. For parties you do have to pay for the shelter rental, always book at least a month ahead the shelters closest to the park always go fast. Overall nice park.
Beautiful place to go for a hike, bike ride or go fishing. $3.00 for a day pass. Ample parking. No in and out but easy walk to a variety of restaurants.
Lovely place for a long walk on the lakeside, plenty of open seating places for picnics and leisure activities.
Very nice and relaxing park. Our first time to go there and definitely will come back.
