Crescent Bay Point Park is a scenic spot, perched on a bluff, overlooking lovely Crescent Bay, in Laguna Beach, CA. Chamber of Commerce clouds and flowers stood out on this February day. This fairly small park has circuitous walking trails that wind their way to several gorgeous lookouts, with incredible views of Crescent Bay, and Seal Rock-usually filled with sea lions and pelicans. The landscaping, full of blooming flowers, is meticulously maintained and the sumptuous green lawn is a perfect place for a picnic. Love this park, as well as Crescent Bay below.
This is truly a jewel of a beach. Away from most of the crowds on the Main Beach of Laguna. Some elements of Crescent Bay remind me of Hawaiian beaches Ive visited. There are coves and tide pools and even a cave to explore. Parking can be a bit tight so I avoid weekends and and get there early. There is parking on the Vista Point North of this beach with a hidden stairway leading down to the beach. It used to be a secret but now I guess the word is out. Great views, great snorkeling and tide pool exploration. Highly recommended
The park is beautiful!!! I had the pleasure of riding a tandem bike with a friend and it was spectacular. There is a bunch of things to do here, from seeing bison, visiting an old city windmill, visiting the ocean, feeding the ducks, nibbling on blackberries, have a picnic, take a canoe on the lake, and much more. I even saw people chilling in their cars reading. This place is great! So beautiful you have to come see it for yourself!
Free Thai Chi by Speckles lake every Saturday (or was it Sunday? maybe both) at 8am? Oh yes! The park is absolutely beautiful, very active, and I love it! Make sure to check out the Japanese Tea Garden. =)
Loved the secluded crescent shaped Beach. Sandy Beach bordered by high cliffs. Parking was easy but may not be so once we dont have Covid any more.
Really like that there is ample free parking and not a lot of people here. However, no shade. Good ocean views.
I took my niece there over the holidays. She absolutely loved it and I have to admit I got pleasantly surprised by the old school, retro charm of this place. The admission price seems retro as well. Many attractions, rides and a parade at the end of the day all for $8. Ill be taking my niece there again soon.
Its definitely a gorgeous beach but not very accessible. I read it was a top 10 choice to view a meteor shower. Well maybe if you live there but for the general public that is not an option. For that reason it only gets 3-stars from me.
The park was quaint and away from bug crowds. Had a wonderful view up and down the coast. Great for sunrises or sunsets, or for just picnicking. No restrooms.
We got married at this park and it was the most stunning experience ever. The views were so amazing. You can see all of these beach front estates dropping off right into the water from above. At our wedding there was a group of fish down below, And they formed a heart shape about 40 round. No one can believe what they saw.
Beautiful park, would give it more stars if parking was easier. No bathroom, no parking. Pets welcome.
Cool little spot to enjoy a view from a cliff (protectesd by rails of course) Crescent Bay Point Park is not too big however, its good enough to watch the sunset as it gives you a vantage point to see most of Laguna Beach. Parking is free as long as you park along residences nearby. Please be mindful and not block gates and drive ways for locals.
I brought my pets to enjoy the beautiful view I love that the people were friendly the park with clean and I had no issues there I will gladly be back.
An amazingly tranquil place, with the sounds of wind and ocean. Small intimate spaces that one could sit and relax in for hours. The best part from my perspective are the sum sets which never seem to last quite as long as you want them too. Bring a jacket or pullover because the temperature drops quickly as the sun goes down. Bring someone you love and enjoy it.
This beach was pretty cool. It was not crowded. It was relaxing and a wonderful place to take people from out of town who want to see the beach. There were people surfing, there were people doing photo shoots, and family and friends hanging out playing Frisbee and football. This place has tide pools where you can see little crabs and sea urchins (sp). I would come back to this beach again and I would recommend that other people do as well. Im not sure if they allow pets, but If they do, i will bring my dog next time i come.
No better view of the beaches in Laguna.Great place for a picnic.
Spectacular views of Laguna Beach and the Pacific. Nice quiet park to taken in the views. A must see when in Laguna! But I am partial to the park as I was married there 30 yrs ago!
This is hidden gem, where you can take in most spectacular view of the Laguna Beach from convenience.
Beautiful place to take pictures, hangout and explore.
One of my favorite places in SoCal. So peaceful, quiet, relaxing and meditative. More importantly its a free spot to park and the views are amazing.
Lifeguards are nice and look out for the kids .
One of the most beautiful spots in the Orange county coastline. We got married here!
Beautiful little park!
People without a mask and too many dogs running around without leash. people naborhood tuned into a dog park
My wife and I decided to stop for a fast visit with our kiddos. This was where we took our wedding pictures and it still is a perfect small point for a place to relax and enjoy the amazing views and tranquility of the area. If you are in the area, plan to stop and enjoy a nice, cute view point with nicely managed gardens/grounds.
Tide Pools - Very interesting! We saw crabs, fish, and sea anemones. There was a person there that gave you some education about the tide pools and answered your questions.Beach - very nice & chill.
The morning views are so relaxing. If you love quiet mornings to sip coffee and decompress, this is a great place to start your day
A small park in the neighborhood with a lovely view of the bay and ocean. Perfect place to see the sunset!
This is usually my most favorite spot in Laguna, but today there was a crazy lady who did not want to walk past my fiance and I on the stairs. She became argumentative. Even though she had a mask on she refused to walk by us when there was plenty of room on the stairs for her to social distance. CRAZY LADY! Who wears a mask on the beach anyway?
Its beautiful and normally not too crowded. I love going with my family because the waves arent huge, so they are good for all ages. There is some incredible marine life and two tide pools, along with a shower for afterwards. Its perfect for a day with the family.
Lovely little bay away from the commercial beach, great for relaxing in the sun.
Great place to bring a blanket and picnic. I used to live in Laguna Beach, Crescent Bay was and is still my favorite spot, the view never gets old.
Dog Friendly! Many times you can see and hear seals out on the two rocks. Great place to bring a blanket and picnic. I used to live in Laguna Beach, Crescent Bay was and is still my favorite spot, the view never gets old.
My favorite stop today on the coast, small but sparsely occupied,a great vantage point and area to read a book or write poetry -saw some dolphins too!
Beautiful atmosphere. Quiet, relaxed.
World class ocean views from this gorgeous bluff.
Beautiful place. Awesome views
Nice place but parking very limit parking and so private.
Beautiful view! Nice and quiet!
Just an amazing park with an amazing view.
It is the best park ever but no bathrooms.
Beautiful and relaxing... best spot for tide pools too.
Beautiful view ... nice park to walk around.
Beautiful, small beach with tide pools with plenty to look at
Beautiful! Must vist.
Love stopping there for a nice sunset view
Beautiful park for family time
It was so beautiful and fun! Saw a wedding there too which was nice :)
Beautiful views and right across the street from our hotel!
Very nice place to sit and just enjoy the view. A quiet place with a view of the beach and waters. Also plenty of space to sit.
Beautiful and just around the way from Laguna Beach but not as crowded.
A very beautiful park to visit at all times of the day.
Beautiful views of the coastline and the best sunset shots of our visit.
This is a pretty amazing little park on the north side of Laguna Beach. Just a nice place to hang out and view the Pacific Ocean. If you are lucky you can see a whale go by or a pod of dolphins.Perfect place for a wedding or a picnic. The beach below is an amazing cove and the waves just roll in.One of the downfalls is that it is a neighborhood park and there are no restrooms.
This has to be one of the most beautiful views, ever. Small park, huge payoff in views!
Cliff drive Laguna Beach best and fun beach with lifeguard and private homes for rent
I aways come here. Hidden and nice. Please respect the neighbors and the neighborhood
Beautiful especially at night...super romantic and peaceful
Beautiful view and not super busy.
I drive almost 2 hours just for this amazing view at sunset. Its breathtaking.
Gorgeous views. Lovely view of Laguna beach!
Beautiful place to watch the sunset
I saw the comet from there. I would like to go back in the daytime.
Awesome spot to over look ocean. Beautiful during sunset!
Beautiful place with tide pools. A great place to take the kids. Just be respectful of all the living creatures
Very beautiful small place! It is a crescent shape, surrounded by houses and cliffs. There is enough sand area to sit but stay away from the shore! Its very out and will only be moreso throughout the day. The water gets deep quickly and the waves are intense, high, and quick. Its fun though for anyone (with some caution) and the blue- green water is beautiful and mostly clear.
Nice peaceful place to clear your head
Beautiful scenery...
Great views of the Pacific with railing lined spots overlooking some Sandy cliffs.
Such a great spot for a sunset view!
The view is spectacular. Great place to take a date, have a wedding or shoot some great pictures...
Awesome views of laguna beach
Beutiful place must go when you visit south LA
Very scenic. Nice place to relax. Some cool vegetation to check out. Very very well looked after.
Beautiful views nice to walk around
Amazing spot for photos, swimming, and hanging out on the beach.
Beautiful place!
Beautiful scenery, awesome cove. You can find parking in the neighborhood.
Love this place. The view is pretty awesome.
This place has something magical..
Always a serene and dramatic coastal overlook!
La Vida Laguna offers amazing paddles through Crescent Bay everyday at 10am. Great public beach, and the last public access as you go North. Public restroom, fun waves, great neighborhood.
A hidden viewpoint from the overly crowded nearby Main Beach. Very limited parking and easy to miss the turning point to the street, but a different vintage point to a beautiful beach and ocean. It has great view of sunset.
This place has a beautiful view!
Great escapade.
Crystal clear water!
Very small park, limited parking in residential neighborhood, but beautiful view.
Beautiful little park with great lookout spots onto the ocean!
Ok, should have just make a drink at home.
Gorgeous views and great for a picnic and walk to the beach. Limited parking.
If youre in Laguna, you shouldnt miss this spot. Any time of the day will give you an amazing view. The sunset is a must.
Awesome little gem in North Laguna. Beach gets crowded and parking is a big concern but the beach is worth the effort. Highly recommend. Dogs can be on-leash AFTER 6pm
Great place to take a stroll on the beach.
Relaxing place, lots of people and limited parking. Be prepared to walk. A few good place for food are also close by
