Main beach Park is one of the most beautiful spots to visit in orange county along the coastline it’s a must see for anybody that hasn’t been there and it’s a favorite spot for people who live nearby, kids and all others will definitely love this places. It’s generally busy with tourists, but still a great place to go, highly recommended.
I took my kids here after 5p.m. just to walk around. It was beautiful. The beach wasnt to crowded and very nice atmosphere around their shops and restaurants. Parking like at any other beach, but we found a spot within a few minutes.
It was SOOOO peaceful!! We loved it & im glad its a 24 hour cause we stayed until 12 am in our screen tent... We will DEFINITELY be coming back here. We will come back in the day time the next trip out here & watch the sunset
How cool is this place! I mean come on, its been there for something like 50 years and in the age of digital everything this place still rocks! No evil Disney empire here, just good fun. 15 min from the city, bring a picnic for the fields by the lake. Fabulous family fun time that makes me wish I was my two year old.
This place is amazing, a great relaxing place on a sunny day to soak up the sun and a beautiful view of the citys skyline. Its not necessarily a close walk, but its totally worth the walk. Plan to come here more often when Im in town. Tends to be sunny when Im in town.
We went during the work week and it was a great idea since there wasnt many people. The water was beautifully clear and the waves were fun. They did get a little aggressive but that only made the sound of the beach much more relaxing.
Two days of beautiful sunsets! The sand is nice and clean. The waves were great. There are rock formations to climb on. I even watched some sand volleyball.
This is a nice beach but could use better parking. The beach is fairly clean but could use some grooming. The waves are medium if you have small children you will need to keep a very close eye. There are a good amount of restaurants and shopping in the area. Good for tourists.
A great place to just go and relax where you know you wont be bothered. Occasionally there are concerts going on, art exhibits and just generally picnicking going on. Making the park an generally playful and enjoyable place to hang out.
Place is lovely, but the homeless are getting out of control. I was accosted by one during my last visit. Im certain he hadnt had a virus test! At some point, one starts to wonder about assault even without touching someone
Nice small beach. Spent an hr or so. Reached around 7:30am on a Sunday.Parking :- Parking on the road side is OK, rest of public parking spaces are expensive.Creek drive seems to have a lot of road side metered parking.Download Laguna Beach parking app prior which is super convenient to use and track the time.*Dog friendly beach.
Always a good spot to let the kids play in the sand and surf – this time just before Thanksgiving
Pretty good $10 all day not bad deal very close to the beach.
Very active but lots of fun! I love to visit this beach whenever I can - it is great for people watching, walks along the beach, checking out tide pools, splashing around in the water (when it isn’t too cold) and watching sunsets. There are many great art galleries, shops and restaurants along the beach to visit as well. Beautiful!
We love this beach. So clean and family friendly
A fun place to go for sunsetAnd great for people watching & listening to a local artist & surferplay guitar as the sun melted into night
Laguna Beach is a personal favorite. It’s a shallow beach which doesn’t allow for a mile of people to litter the sand before ya get your toes wet. It’s relatively calm for a Southern California Beach. Escaping the masses in SoCal isn’t easy. But LB is a hidden gem.
If you’re visiting Southern California, Laguna Besch is a lovely stop, A quintessential California beach town. If you only have an afternoon, it’s a great place to go for lunch, or relax at the beach, or go on a walk through the village. If you can spend the night or a weekend, especially in the summer, there’s much to do, including taking in the “pageant of the masters“ theater, where they make an art masterpiece come alive, literally! The photos I took here were of the sunset in the winter, and winter can be very nice time to visit, especially in December when it tends to be dry but cool. That was a spectacular sunset that I enjoyed. Laguna Hotel Accommodations can be pricey; there’s some very luxurious resorts in the area, but there’s also smaller hotels right on Pacific Coast HighwayIn terms of reviewing the beach specifically, Main beach park is the busiest part of the beach as it’s very close to the village. So there’s just more activity going on there typically. I used to go to West Street Beach which Further down the road on Pacific Coast Highway and a little tricky in terms of its acc ess to get to the beach. You need to find the little stairway in between private residences that allows you access to West Street beach. It used to be the beach frequented by gay guys; I’m not sure if that’s the case now. it’s somewhat private. the waves could be quite strong with the riptide. So one has to be careful of that. Other parts of Laguna Beach are known for their surfing.
It was very nice to visit this place the one thing I was not pleased is how fast the cars go trying to race tge light. It was crowed and people did wear their mask and there were those who didnt. The beach was not as crowed just the outter area were. Dinning is open with outside dinning it looked very nice.
Sand is nice and smooth. Water is clear and waves arent to rough were kids can play and not get roughed up. Lots of places to eat and shop around. Recommend coming and seeing first hand for yourself.
Even though I live in Utah, Ive been coming here my whole life! I love this beach!
No complaints. Nice beach, strong waves.
My favorite beach!! Very family friendly, no smoking, drinking or rowdy people if your looking to relax and enjoy yourself.
The park was very nice and clean. Plenty of benches to sit on. The sand was cleaned every morning we were there. Parking is expensive 4.50 an hour for meters or they have parking lots 20.00 for the day. You also can park out of town about 5 miles for free and they have a free shuttle that runs back and forth. It was a very good stay.
Laguna Beach is one of my favorite places. There were some homeless around, which Ive never experienced before but still some beautiful views. The town is cute with lots of good places to eat dinner and treats.
Small but enjoyable Laguna Beach with plenty of great places to eat or boutique shops to visit.
Caught this rare jeep parked on main street. Even on this time of covid 19 its pretty awesome going on a stroll thru this street
One of the peacefull and greatest area I ever seen in Cali. I saw many colibris there and the sunset is pretty awesome. I love to chillout with my family there. Awesome!
Great beach open space and great location easily accessible
It is wonderful to walk on the beach and boardwalk.
Fun and exciting place to take the family. Miles of beautiful beaches for long walks
Great place for the kids..we had a good family time
Beautiful beach with a handful of very nice people. Beautiful landscape and a great place for children to swim. No surfing or skim boarding is a little downer but this is enforced so its safe for everyone to swim and enjoy themselves.
Dogs allowed year round (limited to before 9am and after 6pm during the summer)! Main Beach is nice but there are better beaches in Laguna Beach.
Main Beach Park in Laguna is really nice. You can walk through the path over looking the beach. There is benches and lookout points throughout the path. Also, its a great place to see a sunset!!
Lots of people enjoying this area for a swim, sunbathing, reading on a bench, playing fetch with their dog, going for a stroll, or playing basketball. Lots to do, in this quaint area with shops, pubs, and cafes nearby. We parked at parking lot 16 and took the free trolley down, and it dropped us off at Whole Foods, a block away from the main beach.
Beautiful beach. Great tide pools on the western side of the beach. Beautiful area.
Big waves and clear water! The beach is only steps away from the main street
Nice beach with gorgeous scenery. This beach has the prettiest water in the area in my opinion. The walkways are nice with shops and great restaurants nearby.
Great beach. Be prepared for people and waves. Public change area could be bigger and better managed.
Large clean beach with miles of shoreline, and well kept facilities. Family friendly for all ages. Knowledgeable staff on site to answer questions about the tide pool and creatures in the area.
Nice beach, had a good time hanging out enjoying the view and weather
Beautiful, clean, great playground for kiddos.
If I wanted to picture paradise. Id go to Laguna beach. Its heaven on earth.
So glad i could put my tent on this beach and relax !Great vibes on this beach !You can swin, surf and get a tan ! Again its great for Beginner surfers, i see a lot of young surfers practicing on this beach !Suitable for families, couples and groups ! Great beach also for socializing and meeting new people .
Excellent Place for family, friends and Love ones!!!
Really nice, clean beach. The best part was probably that you can bring your dog down for a walk (some restrictions).
The atmosphere was great and relaxing if I could have spent the night on the beach I honestly would have just a beautiful place to relax so if you need to just get away I would definitely suggest this place I enjoyed it thoroughly I will definitely be back
Such a great beach! Clean and beautiful! The lifeguards are so incredibly sweet.
Nice beach, part is flat part rocky with tide pools.
Too much people in summer bet beautiful and clean water lot of fish
Laguna Beach is such a gem. If youre visiting from outside the area, it may not come up as the top 100 things to do while in LA, but it really should not be missed. Charming village with great dining, shops, and some of the most amazing beaches in all of southern California.
Nice, but nothing too special about it. Many homeless people
Beautiful beach with volleyball, basketball etc. Great atmosphere with plenty of choice of restaurants. Only downside is parking.
It was amazing weather and it wasnt crowded had a great afternoon and evening
My all time favorite ... Laguna calls my name... How I wish I could live there... Happy memories and more to be made
Great place to relax and chill!
Awesome clean. family oriented best beach in so cal
The pork tacos were really good, fish tacos were ok, and beans and rice were bland. Ceviche was tasty also. Service should have been better. View was spectacular.
Great environment and clean beach, wonderful sunset, if some more shade areas are there it will be better.
One of the best beach in southern CaliforniaTake your time visit the place and enjoy..
This is a nice park. Clean beach, nice courts and a great view. It can get busy though and parking can be tough.
Beautiful beach Laguna beach one of the most beautiful beaches I love it1️
This is a stupendous place to watch a sunset. And listen to the ocean. Truly a wonderful earth we live on.
It is an amazing place to go and have fun.
Alway clean well cared for and beautiful
Where can I say we all love the beach
Nice view but too much grass in the sea :(
Beautiful beach.. Very clean and upscale. Tons of great shops and places to eat
A great place for a day trip for the young or worldly. Drop a blanket & umbrella or just people watch. Walking distance to many amazing restaurants, pubs & shopping. The beach sand is soft & the waves not too rough.Cleaner than I thought it would be with so much traffic.
Beautiful place. Just sad basketball courts close I really wanted to ball someone up today. Im from L.A so I wanted see whats up w ballers here on Laguna beach.
As always Laguna Beach manages to bestow both a small village atmosphere along with a certain international art sophistication. One of my favourite parts of Southern California. Lovely beach, play parks for kids, nice cafes and a plethora of arts and craft stores.
Its a beautiful beach, definitely go check out the rocks by there, but, lots of seeweed, and try to be careful with your stuff, ut can get stolen there
What beach in SOCA can be described as Not Amazing?? Cmon even be ice is iconic !! This place is it !!
Very clean beaches and scenic views.
Main beach is a true gem located in the heart of Laguna Beach. You have the 133 and 1 joining with people and a lot going on at any given period. The city does a good job of keeping things moving and keeping the public safe. You can head North up to Las Brisas or head back down south for more restaurants and shops.
Beautiful beach!! Great time with your family!!! Very friendly people!! Love the weather and water temperature! Take sandwiches for all the local restaurants are small and pricey if you have a big family. I loved it there
Just beautiful! Ill be back!
Great beach park with a nice little downtown nearby. The water and beach were clean and no hooligans playing loud music or other shenanigans. Moreover, parking wasnt too bad with some paid meters (even on Sunday...) a couple blocks away if youre not able to find street parking.
Not as crowded as one would expect for this time of year. Even with most wearing maskes, it felt good to be here.
This view is breathtaking and I love love love taking pictures here & just relaxing. Despite the fact that the beach is non accessible, it is a pretty place to walk and enjoy :)
Fun Place, alot of Southern California history .
Very beautiful and peaceful. Clean public restrooms and beach is well kept. Lots of local food places and night life.
Nice clean and not too crowded
Just So Beautiful, cant wait to go back and stay Longer
Its open most restaurants are taking online waiting list reservations. Beautiful spot!!
It was very nice
Very nice place with great facilities to spend a daytime there.
It a short walk to refreshing fun.
Nice big Beach. Very wide and some nice waves. There is a nice boardwalk and lots of sorts facilities like volleyball and basketball
Wonderful place to walk, or sit and enjoy the sounds of the ocean
Lovely so lovely
Beautiful, you have to visit this place.
Great place to eat or relax .. here you have green .. at 6ft you have sand and beach .. awesome
This has got to be the nicest park along the California coast ever!
Fun beach for families or just to go and take a quick break. Parking is a challenge however.
Such a beautiful beach. We love going there with my husband and daughter. There are shops nearby, you can buy ice cream and drinks.Theres also a playground, my daughter loves.
I loved hanging out at this beach for a few hours when I was in town visiting. Easy parking options, plenty of space and a ton of great shops, restaurants and art galleries all within close walking distance.
Parking was expensive $20, If you want to be close to the beach. The water has too much seaweed that we couldnt enjoy it. It was the big clumps of seaweed and loose pieces that look like hair. The sand was ok, had pieces of wood in it mixed in with some dried up seaweed. It got crowded pretty quick so get here early., we got here at 930am and ended up leaving at 115pm because it was getting crowded and loud with everyone playing music (3 genres going on at once about 10ft away from us) not relaxing. Will not be returning.
