I was happy to go skating again after over 20 years. My granddaughter had a birthday party there. Id recommend for skating but not for a party, or a meal. Eat before or after you go.

Had a good time once again! The children enjoyed themselves, and I got some much needed exercise.

This is the worst place I have ever been to for a birthday party. My grand-daughters party was there and they changed you for every little thing. Hottest place in the world also

Once upon a time this place was fun. Now they overprice for everything. The little fun area should be included in the skate price. If i bring my own skates I should not be charged full price. Oh my and the food. It was horrible. The chili smelled like dog food and tasted horrible. The fries were burnt. The cheese tasted stretched out. The customer service was not even good in the food court area. No smiles and a little rude. I feel like they overcharge just because they are the only ones in the area and that is just horrible. They do not even do skate competitions anymore just shout out rules the whole time.

I got kids here for indoor playground to try and seems they love it but they do want skate next time I hope.

Had a birthday party here and definitely will be returning. Place was amazing to the eye. Workers were very helpful with questions and party host was quite amazing as well. If only I couldve give more than 5 stars!

We went here for the first time. Really overpriced. And once we walked in it felt like a sauna. It was to hot to enjoy ourselves. It must of been 90 in there. The kids were red and drenched in sweat. It was miserably hot. It was crawling with tweens and seems like no one working there really watched anything going on. My kids were bumped into and basically ran over and they were in the designated spot behind the yellow fence set for the smaller kids and ones who cannot skate well on the larger floor. Definitely will not be going here again.

Crowley Middle School Steppers loved skating. They enjoyed the games loved the pizza and loved all the music the DJ played. Went on a Saturday as a club field trip. It was awesome.

Its ALWAYS is a joy visiting the Skate zone! Staff was hustling and always had a smile on! Music was on point! Everyone had a blast as always! Keep up the good work and thank you to all the employees and management who worked so hard on making sure everyone was enjoying themselves!!

Overall this isnt a bad place to bring your children to experience something fun. There is a play area and an arcade area and of course skating. My daughter brought her own skates, thankfully because I wasnt enthusiastic about the my rental skates. They felt really loose and unstable. It made me nervous skating in them. I would suggest bringing your own. The young man working behind the counter was very nice and helpful and picking out a pair of skates for me though and I appreciated that. There is an area of the skating rink that is barriered off by a plastic fence for little ones. It can be a little scary because theres nothing to hold onto when youre actually stepping down onto the floor and some kids were skating into the plastic fence moving it while smaller children are trying to hold on to it so its not a great system but the skate floor itself doesnt have much of a wall area so I guess theyre making do with what they have. I read some reviews before we went and I saw that people were complaining about the size of the play area for the price. It is a smaller play area. I dont know what the price is but its not as large as I think they try to make it seem especially when the owner is responding to someones complaint. I swear people in this town know when youre not Cajun, lol... I had my socks on walking against the wall of the floor at the one place where there is a tiny strip of wall helping my daughter get across and I got fussed at by somebody. I saw numerous other people in tennis shoes walking on the floor with their kids who looked Cajun and a not a word was said. Maybe I just got caught. I honestly think its ridiculous. Its a wooden floor. There isnt a lot of space for children to skate who are learning. Its a matinee skate on a Saturday and then you tell people they can go out to the middle of the floor with their tennis shoes on and dance so doesnt make a lot of sense to me but I dont make the rules. And Im sure given the other response by the owners to other people on here Ill get an earful also. Having said all of this I would definitely take my kid again during a matinee skate if you have small children its probably not good to take them on a theme tonight with older children or adults. Last but not least this place is cash only so make sure you have the green on you before you go.

Fun nation!!!! Us a great place to go for family, hanging with friends, and having birthday parties... Im headed there at the moment. The staff help you with what ever you need! And its a great place to have the best time of your life. If you have never been to fun nation, you are missing out on a lot.

Fun skating rink. They have a small playground/ climbing area and arcade games too. They are a good place for parties.

Great place for skating. The add-on play area is especially nice when having a younger child who hasnt got the hang of skating yet. The only issue I would recommend that they fix are their arcade games. Like possibly adding more so you are actually able to get prizes, a lot of them were out of order or took the coins inserted. Besides that its a all around fun atmosphere.

I held my son’s 6th Birthday party here, spent about $300 total including extras. The set-up was great, But the customer service & the manager I dealt with was HORRIBLE. She was extremely rude and very unprofessional. It would be expected that because she lacked in pleasant appearance traits she would possess a better attitude...so not true! Needless to say my money spends everywhere but I refuse to spend another penny here. I have also persuaded family and friends to go where they will experience Great Customer Service as well!

This place is a terrible the music is horrible need a new DJ for sure. The staff is very rude and disrespectful! Kids running wild doing what they want no control will never take my children here again. Every where you looked kids kissing and trying to make out when you go tell a staff member they get an attitude with you. My best advice is to stay away and go find something else to do.

Our birthday party at Skate Zone was amazing. They had great service and helped with every little thing we needed all day. I couldnt have asked for more. Everyone was kind and extremely patient with the children. Highly recommend them to anyone!

I like that they participate in free skating for the kids. But you know there is always room for improvement.

Its an ok place. I love speed skating but the floor is in need of major repair. They just remodeled the place and invested in new rental skates. I hope the plan on repairing the floor its got big humps were the boards are starting to buckle. If your going fast in a turn and hit that hump you just might go flying.

It is one of my favorite places to be! I enjoy it so very much, I started skating there and immoderately fell in love. Skate Zone brought out my passion for roller skating that I am now pursuing. The workers are always on top of the kids messing around and very friendly and I love talking to them, they are all super cool. The owner is very sweet, he fixed up my skates! All in all, I love skate zone so much!!

I woyld neverbgo again in my own experiance, the employees are rude and pushy, i understand not walking on the sketing floor but u dont have to kick some one out for doing it when theres no place to pass and u just step one foot, and the fact that they take ur food and throw it away or make u eat it all outside before u come in is outrageous and the smart comments they make like,you eont need thus food we have food here, expecially when the food is over prices, come on $4.91 for $3.50 nachos and .50 chilie on then really i just know ill never go there again.

Had a birthday party for my 5 year old. It was awesome. The staff was friendly and the lady manager was sweet and very nice. The place was very neat and clean. Would differently recommend anybody to go.

Not a very nice looking place, pizza was less than desirable and it didnt look very safe. Young people were loitering outside of the building. Wont be returning.

Be sure to bring cash.. they don’t take any type of debit or credit card.Employees smoke right outside the door (for us this was both when entering and leaving)... we had to walk through smoke. Not pleasant when your allergic!

Took my god child on Saturday afternoon. Its been 35 years since Ive skate and we enjoyed every minute. Although i am sore, its good exercise for me and especally for her. Helps to get her away from the TV, games and computer. Very clean place and the staff is extremely nice. Thank you for a great family environment.

I went tot a birthday party there today with my kids and it was a fun experience. We will be back, especially when my kids get a little older. They are still a little young for full-on skates (they are 4-and they tried a little, with our help), but the party was good. Pizza, soda, cake. What little one wont like that?My only issue is that it seemed a lot of the games either just ate tokens, or werent even working. I know that isnt the main attraction, but its pretty much ALL my son was interested in. That area really should be fixed up so non-working stuff is labelled as out of service.But, like I said, I think well be back. I didnt even know about this place before the B-Day invite, but I think my kids will want to come here when they find their skate legs eventually.

It is ok if the staff would be nice. They have little babies crawling around on the floor. The staff was playing catch baseball where everyone is skating. The ball flew to the other side of the rink and could of hit someone or made them trip and fall. The staff was complaining because they dont want to turn the lights off and watch the kids. They even played a few songs with dirty words in the lyrics. They even have a dog in here roaming around. I was hoping for a nice time with the kids but all the staff is doing is playing around and complaining about working and the guests. Please help.

Great place with many things for them to do. A bit crowded but altogether its awesome for young kids.

We had so much fun! Only drawback was the long wait at the concession stand. Pricing is inexpensive and they even have an indoor playground for the smaller kids who may get tired of skating.

Sad I paid 160 dollars for a party of 6 in a room with about 15 people that were not their for 8 year old daughter party.and they charged me 30.00 for a cake that clearly had a price tag that said 15.00 the plates were so small the pizza slices were to big for the plates .the only give her 200 tickets that adds up to 2.00 they have me 7 candles they know she was turning 8 the staff was not around when I need them .dont have your childs birthday party their..

This was the most horrible experience I have ever had in my life. First off your employees were actually nice and I wont take that from them but youre Manger danika was the rudest person I have ever met in my life. I understand mistakes do happen but there are certain ways to go about them and especially when the employees were admitting they were wrong. She came out with and attitude that I wouldnt expect from a manger. She argued with me an made me feel so unwelcome. Then they let my pizza set at the party table for an hour because my party was never called when I ask for them to remake it she told the only thing they could do is reheat the old pizza. Ms. Danika told me that if I didnt like the way she was talking to me I could leave because she is the owner which I felt to be so unprofessional. If I could give this experience zero stars I would and I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.
