Absolutely loved it. The staff was great and treated you as if you’ve been friends for years. We didn’t make it in time but they let’s us finish being we were at the end. I scheduled another appointment the same day.

We had the island of the lost skull and it was great! 10/10 recommend bring the lead explorer if youre up for adventure

It was an amazing experience. We did the cabin in the woods and it was creepy and fun. The staff was friendly and the person running the game was helpful in guiding us when we were stuck without ever telling us what the answer was directly. It was awesome figuring out the puzzles and Ill definitely be going back.

A wide variety of rooms that vary in the amount of mental acuity, tactile ability, and perception required.The rooms have great atmosphere and the game masters provided good nudges when we needed them. Weve done over 40 escape rooms across 9 other cities and saw many new concepts and tricks at Escape Lafayette.The staff was extremely friendly and welxoming. We heartily recommend the experience.

One of my absolute favorite hobbies. After my first room I was totally hooked. This is the best escape room place in the Lafayette area along with their other location on Westgate. Seriously cool games!

Did the temple room! Was a fun room, the atmosphere was amazing and the theme was great. The puzzles were simple though, mostly picture matching. Several times the rooms were too poorly lit to see clues without eye strain, and what makes the room advance is poorly laid out to figure out what to do. At the very end the room didnt work at all and they had to manually get us out, which was very immersion breaking and unfortunate.

Came here as an extracurricular event and team-building exercise during a company conference, so I wasnt all that excited about it. However, once immersed in the Bayou Nightmare, I was sold! A thoroughly enjoyable experience that not only promotes teamwork, but entertains and challenges! I came begrudgingly, lost myself in the fun, and left wanting more! Thanks for the highlight of my conference!

Pretty good, didnt get out in time. Make sure you bring enough people. The riddles and clues were pretty complex. Fun time though!! Definetly going back!!!

UPDATE: We did the Temple room, and *it was the best room Ive done to date!!* It was so fun! I cant give any spoilers, but it was the most innovative room Ive been in yet. This is my favorite room so far.2 years ago:So far, Ive done all the rooms at the Congress location except Temple, and I just did a room at the new Westgate location. I like that theyre not simple, but not impossible either. Weve won some and lost some. I like the creativity, stories, and detail put into the rooms. I cant really say I have a favorite, because theyre all so different from one another (a *big* plus). The staff is always fun--not an easy task when you work the same job all the time. I highly recommend it.

We had a great time doing this as a family outing. The room was challenging and fun. Difficult but not frustrating. The workers there were all very friendly and definitely help you get into the story. They have several escape options so Im looking forward to going back!

Temple of the lost skull was a great room(s). The puzzles were a little touchy, but the effects were great. My friends and I had a blast. Check them out.

Came here to celebrate my sons 17th birthday. We had a BLAST! Sooo much fun & I definitely recommend!!

Some of the puzzles were poorly made (could be solved miltiple ways but didnt count unless you had it in a VERY particular order (the gamemaster had to tell us why our completion of the puzzle was not correct).My niece also tripped because the room was dark because the GM didnt turn the lights on when a room transition happened. (BIG dangerous no-no)Staff was nonplussed to see us and seemed bored. They werent rude though.Some of the flavor of the rooms are nice (decorations and room changes are extravagant)

Soooo much fun!! We went with a big group of family & had a blast! This was my first time doing an Escape Room so I was nervous but the staff was so informative & friendly which helped a lot!

Temple of the lost skull was great! Just did it today. The production was the best Ive done so far. We did the house of assassination last week. The puzzles were great but I felt that the production could be better. Looking forward to doing more. I appreciate the tones when a puzzle is solved on toom of the lost skull. Please use the legend of Zelda tone!!!

I had the best experience here. A fellow teacher and I brought a group of 6th graders; we had a BLAST. I cant to go back.

Excellent escape game room with several themed rooms available. The puzzles are clever and a fun experience for various sized groups. I went with a group of 16 that was divided between two rooms and it was a blast! Location is easy to reach and plenty of parking. Storage lockers are provided to store belongings while inside game room.

This was actually a fun stimulating experience.

Had a lot of fun and Im positive the clue master either gets a lot of laughs watching everyone, or rolls his eyes thinking are you kidding me! LOL. BTW - I recommend asking for a clue right off the bat so you dont waste time trying to figure out what you are supposed to be doing and you can get on with the excitement because it builds and there is a sense of accomplishment every time you figure out a clue. Pay attention to your surroundings and have fun- it was a riot!

An absolutely AMAZING experience. So far Ive only participated in the House of Assassination and it was incredible to have each clue in plain sight but challenging. I recommended this to my manager at work as a teambuilding exercise and she was all for it! I cannot wait until I try each room! :)

Been here 3 times. Weve always enjoyed it. It is something fun and different to do on the weekends. We brought the kids once, 11 and 13 years old. Needless to say we didnt escape that time lol, but they had a good time. Its about $27/person which gets expensive for a family of 4, considering it only last an hour. Staff is always great! I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a challenging outing!!

Attention to school club leaders and coaches....I HIGHLY recommend the ESCAPE ROOM LAFAYETTE, especially for team building experiences! Just took my high school Volleyball team, with 28 players & Escape Room staff were all so accommodating. They even set up a fun activity to engage in during our waiting time!! Such an effective and positive experience. They also allowed me to sit in the surveillance room so I could listen in, watch, and access my 4 teams as they worked through the challenges together! This accommodation was just perfect because as a coach it was amazing to see how they responded to the situations and circumstances they faced with their teammates! Thank you ESCAPE ROOM LAFAYETTE for providing the Lady Rams with a wonderful team building experience to begin our Vollyball season!

We have done several escape rooms across the country and this is one of our favorites. The designs are challenging and engaging without being impossible. The staff is excellent. Very Highly Recommended.
