They have two walking / running trails - around 0.5 miles and 0.25 miles. They also have facilities for soccer, 2 tennis courts, basketball hoops, 4 baseball fields and childrens playground. The place is maintained very well and has ample space to park.
It is a nice place if want peace and quiet and not around people to bother you
Has an entrance and parking on two sides. Nice easy walking with option of a mild hill for a small challenge if you are not in great shape. Lots of space and a simple play area for kids. Tennis is free and good enough. Same for the rest actually.
I loved that there was a blackboard on the tennis courts! Its perfect for practicing on your own, and improving your hand- eye coordination. Everything in this park is very well laid out and organized; this is undoubtedly my favorite park for sports.
This park has baseball and soccer fields, a small playground and nice walking track which circles a large open area perfect for playing or picnicking. Theres also a covered picnic area available. The restrooms are currently closed due to COVID 19 (May 2020). However, there is a Weigels within a mile of the park that has restrooms available.
GREAT ALL AROUND PARK. HAS ABOUT EVERYTHING.
Me and my son love this park
There was this one dude shadowboxing and fighting a porter pottie but the tennis courts are good and its pretty empty
There is a nice walking trail here.
Great place to walk and play with your dog and people
Lots of open space, sports fields, and two different walking paths.
Great walking path
Awesome park with soccer fields, tennis & basketball courts
Very nice park great place to walk
This park is very well maintained with lots of room to move around. Parking can get a little crazy at times but the general population is pretty courteous.
This park is usually not real busy. The play equipment is nice for younger kids but there are no swings. The walking trail is nice which is why we go. They have good soccer fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, and baseball fields too.
Well maintained fields. The restrooms need some updating and maintenance done but other than that it is a nice place.
We walk/run here twice a week. The path us listed as .5 miles but my phone does not agree so I would use your own measurement If you are trying to track your mileage. The path is a bit broken up in places but overall in decent shape.
Clean, Full of RugRats, needs more Grass. My Dog Loves it there.
Great place to take the family for a day of exercise and sports.
Great for a walk whe kids enjoy the park
Sadly it is managed or the commissioner has run it in the ground. Our Umpire talked on the phone while young girls tried to get him tho call the game Shi they could play a game of baseball. It is very sad...When you complain to Alisha Grooms. The Commissioner ....She immediately backs the cook, who is also the umpire. She does not pay him I am told. You cannot defend yourself....She said I Am the commissioner, like she was saying I am Princess Diana.I tried nicely at first to tell her. She said it didnt matter. She said he was wrong but she had too back him. I have never heard of such craziness. The phone talking ump came over and started an argument. When my 14 year old my grandson answered. Without saying it in any loud or disrespectful way. The ump screamed at us Your Out. I told him no I was 62 years old and have not seen my granddaughter play all year and I was staying. Alisha Grooms The Commissionercalled the police. She was smiling and telling me too bad about this. As she grabbed my arm and was pulling he along. Yelling aft me like I was resisting after I couldnt believe it. People had been yelling at that ump all night and he took it out on us.I talked to the officer at the front of the park away from the management. He said they had mor trouble at Nicholas field because of the absurd way its run. He told me to go back and watch my granddaughter. He took me back and informed the commissioner I would be staying. By then the game was over. I also had a bruise from her treatment. Ms. Grooms needs to get a real life and lighten up.Baseball will be aft Another park. Perhaps Farragut! I hear they are lovely.. We just moved out there.... Great sportsmanship, and s,.!!
Great walking loop and soccer field.
Great place to visit
Used to be such a great place. Watched my daughter play ball. Third game this season...It is a mess. All of the Umpires use different rules. Not baseball rules. For instance, a pitcher can not tag some one out. They must throw to another player to make an out. As a matter of fact. Players have been tagging other players out all season. Tonite we were told that isnt allowed in Nicholas Park baseball. I asked the ump for his rulebook. He said not to question him or he would throw us out.The commissioner Alicia backed him up.Take your children to KYSO, unless you personally know these folks. The umpires are trained in other parks. Not the groundskeeper on a power trip. I give this place 0 stars. Its run like a Crazy place. Whatever rule they make up today...STANDS !!! Until the commissioner er a I mean queen says differently. Save yourself the trouble!
I love running the trails
Nice park and well kept
Clean and very kid friendly
Nice place to walk.
Great place to take the kidsBest chill cheese fries in Town
Beautiful park. Very well taken care of!!
Wonderful playground area,,,even for 2 year olds!
This is a great community park with soccer and baseball fields, tennis courts, walking trails, picnic tables, and a playground. Its a shame Walmart thinks it would be a better Walmart grocery store. Its a half mile from a Food City and a mile and a half from a Kroger. Karns doesnt need another grocery store; we need our only park.
Best park ever
I now it
OK Park, but way too much mud.
Well kept park
Fun
Empires are hateful.
Nice open field but the entrance it badly setup
Great food, lots of parking
The park is gone. They took it out of the ground.
