This is a beautiful park. It has nice walking trails and is close to a small airport (propeller planes and helicopters).

My son loves this place been bringing him here since he was a baby great place to play,run,dog park friendly,also u can watch airplanes fly over beautiful lake great view this is a beautiful park

Very cute park with a playground, tennis court, baseball field, benches, picnic tables, and trails to Ijams. I love picnicking and hammocking here on the bank of the river. Parking is very limited, though.

Its a good place to just sit in the sun if you want, play tennis, ultimate frisbee, a small game of football, or baseball, a good place for kids to play with the playground, and run a little bit.

Sweet spots on the TN River. Good playground equipment. Nice little greenway. Some tennis courts. A badass marble bench. I go here for lunch often.

Its a small park that has a play area for children and a walk way leading to Ijams. Has a good river view, and one can walk into a subdivision that allows for pedestrian travel. Id the goal is an overly fancy playground, there are probably better options, but its not a bad park.

Love this place! Nice trail to walk or ride a bike on. Playground for kids and tennis courts as well as lakeside fishing!

This is a great little park. On Saturday mornings you can watch small aircraft land at the nearby airport. I like to wear my aviators and live vicariously through the wealthy white men soaring in the sky above me.

Its nice and open. Plenty of room for kids, dogs, or just to jog around.

Such a large variety of trails, you will find something you live. Try the Greenway. When you are finished, come over to South Coast Pizza for a slice. Amazingly good.

A nice place to walk your dog or jog. It does have small planes coming and going over your head at times.

Clean! Been going there since I was a kid. Great running/biking track. Neat little playground for children. Beautiful sight of the city over the water from the bank.

A pleasant place to sit and walk by the river in South Knoxville. On a pretty day you can watch small aircraft take off and land at Island Home airfield.

Simple park, on the river. Cute little playground, tennis courts, lovely just to sit by peaceful river. Can take trail up to IJAMS. A pleasant jaunt.

I love the River view. Great place for picnic and fun with the kids. Right on the Greenway and a nice walk to ijams nature center. Playground is nice and partly shaded.

Maybe the best park in Knoxville. Its a 2 mile Greenway trip from Ijams, beautiful view of the river and downtown, great playground with shade, good trees to hammock by the water, and the fishing is decent. 4 stars as parking can be tough on a busy day and there are no bathrooms.

Great place to take kids trick or treating. Love it. News people were there. Plus security was there.

Good city park. No bathrooms. They are doing construction work as of now (May 2018) on the water lines.

Peaceful neighborhood

Great little park to go to. You can fish the TN river from the bank, play on the playground that has swings, monkey bars and more, play a family game of baseball, soccer, frisbee, or just lay in the grass on a blanket and watch the clouds pass by along with the small airplanes taking off and landing from the local Island Home Airport just down the road. Theres also a bamboo area that kids play in and access to the greenway that goes to Ijams nature park, quarry, and more. I would recommend going to this park. Its also clean and maintained.

Great place to watch the planes

The 3.5 mile Will Skelton greenway has quarter mile markers along the trail, making it great for runners, bikers and walkers.

Small park, but a good starting point for our bike rides by the river.

Neeeedddddsssss some sort of bathroom! Where do you expect the kids and parents for that matter to use the restroom? Portable Bathrooms would be a start.

Great views of downtown Knoxville and the river. A excellent place to spend an afternoon watching planes take off and land at DKX. Fairly simple park but decently maintained.
