This was an incredible experience. The owner and his family were friendly, welcoming, and answered all of our questions. We enjoyed every wine we tasted. We had a really lovely conversation with the owners son in law throughout the tasting. Loved hearing about the history of the building and winery. Again, the wines were delicious. We loved wines that we usually dont, including the dry red and whites. The fruit wines were excellent. Highly recommend. Thank you again for such a wonderful experience!

Really nice place. I was there for my sisters wedding so that is all I can comment on.

Chris was our bartender and I was very impressed. He wasnt just knowledgeable about the wine but he was very personable. He showed us a great time and gave us some good tips. Me and my family had a blast thanks to Chris. We will definitely come back to visit and have some more of that fine wine.

Love the food and the wine! I have been twice now and plan to return. The food is amazing and they make their own wine. I love doing the wine tasting and tasting all the different flavors. Its very nice and clean inside and the service is excellent!

Had a great experience here, fast service explained the wines to me and my wife. We are both very new at the wine tasting game. Gave us our money back from parking and had a nice long chat about the greater Tennessee area. Very refreshing experience.

Excellent service and selection. Very knowledgeable bar tender, we did not get to eat as we had ate before we came but the food smelled fantastic. We can wait to come back to try it.

The wine was great! There wasnt a single tasting I tried that I wanted to pour out. Our whole group had a great time! Chris was very nice, fun, and knowledgeable about the area. The atmosphere was very cool - calm, low key, and sort of off the beaten path. The building is a historical landmark and worth going to for the history alone! Would highly recommend and attend again!

I live less than a mile from the beautiful Blue Slip Winery, and only recently discovered them. The wines all came from locally grown grapes giving them a distinctive, and enjoyable taste. The fruit wines were also quite enjoyable. Perhaps most surprising, were the price tags which topped out at $20. For a small winery in such a beautiful building, I was expecting to pay much more. Definitely check them out for a tasting, Im sure you will leave with some bottles just like I did.Thanks Blue Slip!

Blue Slip Winery is an awesome event space. Weve worked with them many times and have never had any issues. The staff is always helpful and our events go well. The best part is the wine! They have a wide variety of wines to choose from and offer tastings as well.Stop in to check out a great winery in a truly unique location!

This is a great place for those who like small quaint and vintage type of atmospheres. Located right by an old railroad station. My spouse and I and a couple of friends went here for a murder mystery dinner show. It was FANTASTIC!

Had a wine tasting and lunch. Very neat old train depot with really cool atmosphere. Every wine we tasted was very good. Probably the best BlackBerry wine weve ever had. We had the beer cheese pretzels along with a grilled cheese and a salad. Delicious. Recommended while Im Knoxville.

Went with a couple of friends for the first time. Its a little hidden jem. Our wine expert Bryce guided us through the wine tasting process. He was very helpful. This place is very elegant and cozy after our wine tasting we asked for a glass of our favorite wine and sat down in their little bistro. We enjoyed our whole experience. Definitely will do it again.

Great wine and excellent food at a very reasonable price.

The service was excellent even during a busy rush. My bar tender took extra care to bring me samples of their wine. I liked all of them!

Website said this place was open and after going WAY out of our way to get here, which is in downtown Knoxville, there was a sign on door saying CLOSED!

Blue Slip is a New Business giving an old historic location NEW LIFE!! They not only have delicious wine (that will not require a second mortgage to buy) but they have a beautiful location for weddings and events. Everything is local even the owners are true Knoxvillians and have a true love for their city! The events that they throw are excellent as well. The Food Truck Park was awesome, even though it rained, they opened up the Station and let people hang out inside and drink wine for a LONG time and never rushed anyone out the door. As Blue Slip farther makes its self known, it will become a Knoxville Tradition.

This is a really neat place to take people visiting Knoxville. The wine is terrific, and the atmosphere is awesome! Watch out for events they hold like murder mysteries!

Stopped in a this small winery in downtown Knoxville. The area was interesting and I was somewhat disappointed at the wine tasting. The lady assisting us told us nothing about the wines and essentially just stared at us blankly. Having been to other wine tastings I expected to hear more back story about each wine as we tried them. It seemed to be lack of experience rather than a lack of desire to help us. The wines had a tang to them that I didnt care for, but others in my party enjoyed them. Id like to see the staff engage more and provide more detailed information about the wines and grapes. Hopefully with more visitors and experience theyll improve.

Love the Dogwood White – Made from Niagra grapes, Grainger Co. grown. Slightly sweet, Its simply brilliant. Very happy to have found this place and to have the opertunity to enjoy its history.

Very nice new historic building location. This winery seems to have a lot going on as they often have live music, painting classes, etc. The staff was very nice and polite. That being said the wine left alit to be desired. We do alot of wine tastings and found the wine to be just ok. They were also out of many wines so there was only a small amount to choose from which was disappointing.

NEW BISTRO AT BLUE SLIP WINERY! Having a winery in downtown Ktown is very cool. Having a bistro there that serves some mighty nice dishes is even cooler. Heres what I want to try next time: octopus ceviche, grilled cheese brie and fig sandwich, marinated cucumber salad, and vanilla bourbon creme brûlée. This time I tried the Kobe beef sliders with pesto aioli, red onion and melted Red Dragon cheese. No brainer: Id have it again. Plus it came with side of house Caesar, also a fine dish. And I tried the turmeric roasted cold cauliflower, which they call the new French fry!
